It had a rattle inside of it and I'm not an electronics guy so I thought it prudent to let the professionals take a look at it and fix it. The gentleman who greeted me was very nice, warm, talkative, and quite agreeable to taking a look at my Sunpro multi tester device and attempting to fix it. He walked into the back after taking it apart did something brought it back and said it was working!!. (It was). As I started to leave it still had the rattle and when I turned around to ask the gentleman about it he said don't worry it's nothing that's gonna short out the circuit board. I remonstrated a bit and said are you sure? And he assured me everything was OK. Well I am Asperger autistic and OCD. When I got home I took it apart removing the circuit board to discover the main fuse just floating around underneath the circuit board, a metal-cladded fuse. Something that certainly and Dustin and potentially Will short out a circuit board. It was a physically oversized fuse meaning that it had been replaced at one time.... I wanted to take it back to him and just let him know that the rattle was indeed a concern that should've been looked at and I wanted to do so even if it been paying to have the job done properly with the right size (physical size that is) fuse. But I'm in my 60s and I'm a bit black-pilled with what I think on my reasonable expectations for people to do a thorough and adequate top-notch job anymore these days. /sigh

He then had me initiate a defragmentation on my hard drive. This was smart since it took about four hours. After completion I texted him and he had me bring my computer right over. He replaced the hard drive, cloned my other hard drive to that new one, and then evaluated to make sure all was working well. Less than three hours later I had my computer back. Eventually, he shipped the computer back to me without my permission, and it arrived with the stand broken and the fan still unfixed. So I loaded up and headed that way as I had another errand in the same neighborhood. Lugged the unit in, set it on the counter where the man (owner) said "What you got there?". "My dead Yamaha AV receiver.". "We don't work on audio anymore.". Hmm. Geez. Most of their reviews are for audio stuff. He said they really only work on TVs now. Posted as a PSA. Call before you haul. And they need to get their listing on Yamaha's Service Centers page removed.

Replacement of that TV would have been over $2000. As an added bonus, he reinstalled my sound bar and subwoofer in the way that it should have been installed from the beginning and the sound is 100 times better. I cannot recommend this business in any stronger terms. Check with them before you throw away a TV that can be saved.
