Viet matcha and the viet vanilla latte
    Jennifer N.

Cute coffee/matcha counter outside, there's limited seating but it's meant to be more of a grab and go. The batista was super friendly and welcoming! Viet family approved drinks; the vanilla viet latte gives you that viet coffee craving without giving you heart palpitations and is on the sweeter side. The viet style matcha is pretty strong, it's not creamy; I think I'd add a cream top to it if I ever get the chance to return. Fairly priced and they don't charge for milk subs

I got the Bánh Mì Thịt Nướng - BBQ pork and it was delicious and freshly made. The banh mi bread itself was perfect, it wasn't too hard or soft. On top of that, staff were super welcoming and kind! Definitely recommend this cafe!

    Banana matcha !

Such a clever place to add, already loved the Asian bistro, but excited to try all their drinks. I got the matcha cloud & and Banana whip matcha. I like how they toasted the banana. Also the decor is cute outside, adds a great vibe to the street. The barista was helpful and glad to explain the drinks to me, great service. Thank you!

Very friendly with excellent coffees and food, yet they still seem to be experimenting with their menu. Worth checking out if you like trying something different. Note that they currently close by 2pm daily.

I very much enjoyed my time at this cafe, the pandan vietnamese coffee is delicious, not overly sweet such that you can still taste the coffee.

[Parking]: Free private parking lot with plenty of available spots. [Reservation & Price]: Our party booked an advanced one-hour reservation session on the website from 4 PM to 5 PM on a Saturday. The price is $20 + $0.51 booking fee per adult (ages 16+) for a one-hour session. [Experience]: Our party checked in at the front counter and hung out in the waiting area. The waiting area sells various pug merchandise and also has a touchscreen pinball machine. There is a unisex restroom available. Once our party stepped into a separate pink & clean room, the staff went over instructions on how to handle the pugs. Visitors are allowed to pick up the pugs but cannot carry them while standing. Any pug wearing a pink bandana is available for adoption. Each of us received few free treats to start, but additional treats like pupccino (a small pup cup), sausage treats, or fruit cups are available for purchase. The staff was friendly and was playing fun & energetic background music during the pug session. Our party didn't stay for the entire hour and left around the 45-minute mark because we had a dinner plan afterward. [Conclusion]: Our party had fun playing with the pugs and took plenty of photos. It was a fun and Instagrammable experience & I would highly recommend this experience to anyone who's visiting the Escondido area.

The beginning can be a bit chaotic and goofy as the pugs storm out of the entrance to the music Who Let the Dogs Out. Some of the dogs get a bit too excited and pee on something a minute or two out of the gate. Eventually things can settle down if you have the right people in your group, and they find a spot to curl up together on the different beds available or on your lap. They give you a couple treats to give the pugs, but those go quick. If you want to give them anymore you'll need to purchase them with a staff member who will offer you some options about halfway through. The group in the hour before me was having a birthday party for a toddler. I thought that was a creative idea. Another person seemed to have brought her own pug to socialize with the other pugs there. They seem like a very social breed and were very friendly. Overall a fun memorable experience for those who like dogs.

You ring the doorbell, wait patiently, and once you're inside, you realize this isn't your typical coffee shop. It's a place to slow down, enjoy the music, and savor your drink. Monique and Danica were both amazing. They're warm, welcoming, and you can really see the passion behind what they do. Danica is also the DJ, and her eclectic playlist made the whole experience even better. One of my favorite parts was just sitting there watching our drinks being made. You can see the care and craft that goes into every cup...even the Kuramoto ice is beautiful. The Matcha Americano completely changed my perception of matcha. The Kyoto cold brew pour-over was fascinating to watch and incredibly smooth. We loved it so much that we came back the very next day. This time I had the Midori, and my brother-in-law loved the Highball, especially the yuzu. No laptops. Trust the DJ. Drinks are meant to be enjoyed fresh, so take your time. If you're looking for a quick coffee run, this isn't it. But if you appreciate great coffee, good music, and people who are passionate about their craft, Long Play Hi-Fi is absolutely worth the visit.

Staff suggested changing the chorizo for vegan chorizo (which I suppose they were assuming I was vegan?). Diving into food it wasn't until 75% through meal realized they had put cheese on the burrito :/ For those with allergies, despite the other reviews, be careful.
