I stopped in to grab a cappuccino. The woman working there was friendly and the cappuccino was good.

This is a cute little European restaurant. It is adorable and the coffee is very high quality. The avocado toast was toasted perfectly with crunch on the outside and soft on the inside with a perfect amount of avocado. The service is also great. It is pay at the front, so no biggie, just maybe better for a small intimate couple or a few friends. Would definitely come back.

This is a review for the music and dinner show that takes place regularly at Divo Diva. I learned about Divo Diva because I frequent a business across the street. One evening, I heard opera music that I had thought was a recording, but then I heard people applauding. I was so surprised to find that it was live! After that, I looked up online and learned about the music and dinner show. I made a reservation to attend with two friends on a Friday night. When making the reservation, we learned that it was a set dinner menu with an appetizer, a drink ,and dinner along with the show. The price was around $100 per person (which included the show and gratuity), so I wasn't expecting anything too fancy. The host answered my request to reserve very quickly. She was very gracious and checked to see if there were any vegetarians or non-drinkers in our group. Anyway, the experience was like no other. The place is small and absolutely adorable. They had a list of coffee drinks that sounded wonderful, and some beautiful pastries behind the counter. The owners are both beautiful singers and sang a variety of operetta and show tunes. It was a two-person show. The customers appeared to be regulars and knew what to expect. The were both kind and outgoing and involved the audience in the show. It appears that they change the musical numbers regularly. It seems like the cafe itself has a lovely culture and they host other events during the week. The show is really a one-of-a-kind experience. If you enjoy opera music or show tunes, I highly recommend it. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is that the food was just OK. It consisted of a cheese and fruit plate, mushroom ravioli with meat sauce, and a glass of Prosecco. We ordered extra glasses of wine and a small dessert to share. As, I said, I didn't expect much for the price, and making the same dish for everyone is the easiest way to go for crowd with such a small staff. I'm not sure how it could be changed, but I may have preferred to eat first and just had drinks or dessert at the show. All in all, it was a very lovely evening.

I discovered this café through Yelp while searching for a spot in the Hillcrest area. It immediately caught my eye because it had all five-star reviews--which is rare! There's usually at least one person who isn't completely satisfied, so I figured it was definitely worth checking out. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the café's unique and charming ambiance. It's clear the owner put a lot of thought and care into the decor--some of the pieces show incredible craftsmanship and attention to detail. I happened to visit on St. Patrick's Day, and there was a parade happening nearby, which added to the festive vibe. I also snapped a bunch of photos by the pink tree outside--such a cute spot! I ordered a fancy drink and a pastry, and both were delicious. The owner even came over to chat with us. She was incredibly warm and down-to-earth--she totally gave me "girl next door" vibes. I'll definitely be back. Conclusion: The five stars are absolutely well-deserved. Ciao!

Went for the Halloween Phantom of the Opera dinner event. I love opera and was absolutely blown away with how lovely Victoria & Rosario were. It was absolutely so beautiful and wonderful made me tear up. The show was great and was lovely to enjoy wine, some really nice lasagna, and a leisurely charcuterie. A heart fulfilling and joyful evening! Thank you both for the light and beautiful sounds you bring to this world! Oh gosh almost forgot to mention the beautiful and cool masquerade decor! The cherry on top!

A welcoming and cozy cafe in Hillcrest with breakfast food and pastries, paninis, and salads. The hostess was very friendly and offered some suggestions from the menu. They have decent vegetarian options on the menu, but wish there were more vegan options. Ended up getting avocado toast and side salad which were fresh and flavorful. The cafe is clean, bright, and splendidly decorated with regal teal seats. Combined with the gold-colored utensils, the place felt luxurious. Seats were comfortable. They had outlets for my laptop.

Such a cute place with a great atmosphere and people working there. The coffee was nice and the cookie really grew on me. Excited to come here again for sure and try more.

Everything Italiano. Coffee? Yes. Pastries? Yes. Cake? Yes. Pizza? Yea. Ice cream? Wine? Beer? Yes yes yes. No matter what time of the day or what mood you're in, you'd be able to find at least one thing that might strike your fancy. They even have live music on occasion. I love pistachio things and I tried their pistachio croissant. It was good! But kinda on the expensive side at $7. The staff are friendly and welcoming, you'd enjoy your time there inside or outside (great for people watching)

Walking past the coffee shop, I was drawn by their beautiful cheesecakes on display. I went for coffee the next morning and was so impressed with my drink. I ordered a hot Lady Lupe with an add shot. Stop it right now!!! My drink was so amazing, it put all other coffee shops to shame! This is Hillcrest, known for its ambience and food and Divo Diva is the perfect fit. I can't wait to come back and try some of their food menu!

    Enjoying some Afternoon tea
    Michelle G.

Dearest reader, It seems as if you may have..stumbled upon a ROARING review of Divo Diva Cafe . I found Divo Diva Cafe scrolling through Facebook one day & immediately became intrigued by an Afternoon Tea that was to be held. There were only twenty spots available & I just knew I had to be in one of them. The booking process was so easy. Victoria helped set me up with two other ladies joining me so we would be able to sit with one another. Pictures do NOT do this place justice. Every corner has a pop of color & something interesting to see. The book case wall was my absolute favorite. Seriously looked like something out of a Princess story book. Parking was SUPER easy. There is a park & pay within walking distance with a close cross walk. The singing was also something else to hear! I've only included a snippet to encourage you to experience that type of power house in person. I have always admired hearing the song Carmen Habanera, but experiencing it in person had me in complete awe. Can not say enough good things about my experience here. The staff was great, food delicious, music (clarinet & two opera singers ) out of this world good, & overall a really nice atmosphere. I'll definitely be back soon .

Matcha latte- no flavor, tasted like milk
    Lisa A.

I ordered a matcha latte and at 6$, it felt like I paid for overpriced milk. I asked them to add more matcha because I couldn't taste it and even with the addition, it wasn't very good. I definitely would never order matcha from here again. At least the food was decent.

The food is elegant, is presented amazing, and tastes great. I started with the Sweet Corn and Piñon Soup. I see why it was voted best soup for two years in a row. The thinly sliced corn bread adds an amazing texture in those bites. First, I still really enjoy the Carruth Wine Garden. It is nice to have an outdoor space to drink wine right in the center of the city. In general there plenty of parking ,and it is dog friendly. As far as the wine, it is very good. I like some more than others. More recently, I have enjoyed the Unicorn Red Blend ( a longtime favorite) and the Syrah. I love that it is dog friendly, inside and out. My dog loves going there and she makes friends each time. A change that they made recently is that the main garden area is now child-free, which was a positive change in my options, as it had gotten a bit chaotic in the past with children not being very well supervised. The still have a family-friendly outdoor space. In the past, there was always live music when I came. I was there most recently on a Saturday evening and was disappointed that there was no music. Also, the prices have gone up ($18 per glass). Unfortunately, I found the pours to be somewhat inadequate, though it depended which staff member was pouring the wine. They do not allow for outside food, and only make certain dishes certain days of the week, which unfortunately doesn't allow for many options if you are hungry. Water is readily available inside and outside. All in all, it is a lovely place with good wine to come with friends and your 4-legged friends. It has gotten a bit pricey, and I do wish we could bring out own snacks, but I still enjoy going and am sure that I will be back.

The waiter that came by mid-video to do the torch component of the butters we added on to our meats was great, I love that it's table side because it enhances the experience to the ambiance and you can squeeze a little video in. If you do go for your birthday, as I did, they provide you with a dessert outside of their choices, however, we did overindulge a bit. Overall, I had a phenomenal experience for my birthday dinner, the music/ambiance was great, service was great, and the food quality for both the meat choices we got, sides (caesar salad, broccoli, and macaroni) we're all SO yummy! I will definitely be back!

Lots of hype about Fort Oak. Seemed to be busy when we were in the area. Menu is pinch…read moreoff-putting. Wasn't tooooo much looking forward to it, but it fit all the Birthday Dinner check marks and you can't down talk a place if you haven't been there. First. Listen. Everyone's using open table. But Fort Oak, tell Open Table to chill. I used open table to reserve about 4 days in advance, but still got a TON of emails, and a ton of notifications. Including one that, if I didn't respond to it, would cancel my reservation. Then 3 follow ups asking me to review Fort Oak. Haysuse on a pogo stick, that was almost a detractor from the actual dinner. Is this dinner or a past due bill sent to collection agency? I digress. First, our waiter Johny E, phenomenal. Dude knows wine in ways that are supernatural. Spot on recommendations. Second. Put on your Pulp Fiction "5 dollar shake" face about a 50 dollar pork chop. A FIFTY DOLLAR PORK CHOP. Waiter, who had already proven he know WTF was what, simply said "we're known for it, you will probably enjoy, people rave about it". So, I mean, when in Rome. Johny wasn't lying. It's a pretty @#$#ing good pork chop. Color me amazed. You can be skeptical. You might say I was just trying to justify having spent 50 on a pork chop. Try it. Stunning. I don't know if it's the best I ever had, but I can't remember a better one. Over all, they nail the experience, the food, and wrap it up in a bow. It is always busy, so a reservation is best (I'd call vice using that @#$# open table app, I swear). Shout out about Johny - in fact, ask for him to be your waiter, he a star.

Easily the best meal I've had in a while! We had a reservation at 7 pm and were seated right away…read more Reservations seem like they would be your best bet here, as the restaurant was very lively and crowded. However, we were seated on the outdoor patio which was spacious enough (and dog friendly). The decor was also beautiful! Now for what we ordered: - Ahi Tartare: we weren't planning to get this, but the server recommended. This was fantastic. The crispy shallot added a good amount of crunch, and the brioche it was served with was buttered and toasted to perfection. A standout dish for us - Little Gem Salad: not a must get, but delicious nonetheless. I loved the whipped feta and ranch in this - Goat Milk Cavatelli: soooo good. The sausage in this is really yummy and nicely paired with the charred broccoli. I'd recommend this one - Branzino: delicious. Comes de-boned which is appreciated, and is deliciously flaky. Get this! - NY Strip: ok I know I've said "get this" for basically everything....but seriously get this one. The presentation is beautiful and the squash, bone marrow, and everything else on top were very tasty. This was our favorite dish!
