Butter chicken is more tart than sweet, and the paratha is oddly more flakey than I'm used to. Overall, good portion for 2 people. Space is huge and certainly can hold a lot of people.

There was only one server at the time when I went in. Food was good and portions were huge, great for sharing. I got: Chicken biryani (serves 2) 4/5 - This was in massive portions with a mountain of rice and full chicken legs hidden throughout. It was topped with an egg sliced in half, some sauced chicken breast pieces and raw onion. I thought that there wasn't enough raw onion for the ratio of the rice. Also came with a yogurt sauce to help with the spice. Overall, very flavourful, delicious and great for sharing. Butter chicken with garlic naan 5/5 - Thought this was delicious, creamy, tomatoey, and had the perfect amount of spice. Garlic naan was already crispy and paired well with the butter chicken. I devoured this one and wanted more. Overall, a solid place for dinner or lunch. Portions are huge, especially if it's the biryani. Be prepared to pack your food to go since portions are large.

I took my seat and ordered some food. Here's what we had: - Tandoori - 7/10: The taste was fine, but I deducted 3 points because it seemed like the tandoori was fried. - Mutton Roast - 10/10: The mutton was soft and incredibly flavorful. - Hyderabadi Chicken - 10/10: Spicy and flavorful, it was delicious. The spice level is intense, but enjoyable. - Amravati Chicken - 10/10: My first time trying this dish, and it was great. It was slightly sweeter than the Hyderabadi Chicken. - Malai Kofta - 10/10: Paired with naan, this was my favorite. Highly recommended for vegetarians. To end our delicious dinner, we had: - Mango Blast - 10/10 - Rasmalai - 10/10 I've already pinned this place to come back soon. Shoutout to Savni, our server, who was great!

Came here in our last day in Toronto. You walk in and it smells amazing. Food was amazing and lived…read moreup to expectations but the service was sub-par. Made a reservation for 2 people at 8pm and was not seated until a bit after 8:20pm. They did not offer anything to make up for the wait. It looked like they gave our table away on accident because there was a couple that had just sat down. And we were about 10 min early so it's not that we were late and they gave it away. It would have been nice to at least have offered a drink or dessert, especially since there is not standing space/waiting room so you have to awkwardly hover near the front of the place. What was even more annoying is when we finally sat, they actually came to take orders from a table that sat down AFTER us first. Again, not sure if the waitresses were new but it was getting super late and we had just driven for 3 hours so we're hungry and had an early flight the next day and still had to go return our rental at the airport and check-in to the hotel. Hence, we came to a place that had a reservation. I ordered a herbal tea (Gulaabo) to start with since I love Rose flavor and then the Chaat Papri to hold us over. It took a while for even that to come out because as soon as it did come, 5 min later our actual dishes came out and there was very little space on the table. I ordered the Saffron lamb Korma and my coworker had the Chicken Tikka Masala. The lamb was perfection and the curry sauce amazing. The saffron flavors really blended well with the cashew creamy sauce and the lamb was so tender and absorbed the flavors so well. I had the spicy naan to eat it with and it was delicious. My coworker enjoyed her chicken tikka as well though the chicken could have been cut smaller so that it got a bit. Orr tender with the sauce. It took a while to get our check after we requested it right when the food came. Overall, satisfied with the food but not the service.

We had KingPrawn Masala and Lahori Fried Fish with Afghani Pulao Rice. The prawns were really fresh, perfectly cooked retaining the crunchy texture. It has an open kitchen concept, your food is prepared fresh in front of you... and the good part is, you can give your preferences of spices and any other suggestions you might have to make it according to your tastebud :-) Just keep a note, it's mainly a takeout place, with a limited sitting arrangement for small groups. None of them have been disappointing. None of the items are clearly marked vegan but the server went into the kitchen multiple times to check - prefer to have clearly marked vegan options in a Vegetarian restaurant. The Vegan Gobi Manchurian was OK. Not greasy. Crispy cauliflower florets in a crispy red batter. But the it was a bit dry for us and the batter was very less spicy and under seasoned as well. The Vegan Bajji Platter was also less than OK. All too greasy except for Medu Vada. The plantain bajji, the chilli bajji (not spicy at all). The onion and potatoe bajjis were OK. The Ghee Pongal - Family enjoyed it. Thankfully the vegan Rava Masala Dosa was good. Good amount of Masala inside. The dosa crispy. The Mini Tiffin was saviour as well. Mostly vegan except for Rava Kesari. The Upma and Masala Dosas were great and Mini Idlis good. In all the sambhar and chutneys provided were not the usual. We found the sambhar a bit watered down and less spicy and seasoned. Even the chutneys were too runny and less seasoned and spicy. After our meal the server came multiple times to see if we were done so that they can accommodate the next customer. Felt rushed.
