I've been here twice and have not been disappointed. The place is pretty busy during lunch time but I'd like to come by during dinner. I had their vegetarian lunch special I love the flavor. The decor is nice enough and their staff are very attentuve but what I really enjoy is the food. Large and fluffy naan, yummy peas, lentils, cauliflower curries. *** Based on Take-Out *** Visited my family in Cambridge a few days ago, and we decided to get take-out for lunch. I have a few family members that live around Cambridge and as there was a bunch of us who visited my family that day, we decided to get Indian food because that's what we all were craving. One of my cousins who live in the area recommended this place. I tried a few items on the menu, which would be the following: - Channa masala curry - Dal Makhani curry - Mixed vegetable curry - Raita salad - Basmati rice pulao I liked all these vegetarian dishes, except for the raita salad. I feel like after trying out many restaurants and especially that dish, they did not make it so well. I would definitely recommend all the other dishes and this place for take-out. read more

Had the Bombay platter, with butter chicken and lamb. The chicken was perfectly cooked and the curry was mild but flavorful. Lamb was delicious and the nan was large and obviously fresh. The restaurant smelled amazing and the service was polite and friendly. read more

We were a party of six. I had decided to try this restaurant, based upon the previous yelp reviews. We are three couples from Hamilton, Brantford and Stratford and have tried many Indian Restaurants. This particular restaurant is a real find, the staff were friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about their cuisine. The appetizers were fresh and had that 'authentic taste' we all look for in Indian food - the samosas were fresh and well pleasing to the palate. The naan bread (freshly baked and huge) was the best I had tasted for a long time. We had opted for three dinners for two which included appetizers, main course and dessert. The Beef Vindaloo was perfect heat for 'chilli-heads, and tasted like a real Vindaloo should. We ended up taking quite a bit home with us, as there was so much. Went here for the first time today and was blown away by the flavour, service, and value. I got the $5 butter chicken take out special and it was absolutely delicious, as well as being very generous in portion. The chicken was tender and delicious, the sauce not too spicy (I'm kind of a wimp when it comes to spiciness) super creamy, and full of flavour. I'll definitely be coming back! read more

The food is pretty good... The delivery came on time, I didn't wait long and the flavors are there. Here is what I ordered: Garlic naan - it was really good Butter Chicken - I would definitely order it again, it was good... what I Don't like about butter chicken at most Indian restaurants is the fact that, the hicken breast isn't chopped up small enough, to pick it up with your fingers in the naan (a lot of Indian restaurants often have this habit). But it is tasty. Vegetable Samosa - it's Good, I would order this again. I like it with the Mint and Chutney sauce it came with as well Chilli Fish - This is the reason for the 4 stars... I would of honestly have them a 5 stars considering the taste and location of this place but the Chilli Fish was not on the menu but the nice man said that they have Chilli Chicken and can just substitute it for fish, which made me happy.. Here is the thing though... The fish was way to sweet and I was expecting it to be Savory and Spicy... If they cut the sweetness Out of this dish, I would have easily gave them a 5 star but another reason why they don't get the full 5 stars is because when I was placing the order, the man put me on hold like 500 time (I'm just kidding, it was only 3 times) but seriously!? Wth!? The phone was ringing Off the Hook, so I can see they are very busy, which is a very good sign but why is the lady/gentleman getting there order taken care of before Me, when I called first? They need to get more employees if they know they are That busy.. I found that a bit rude but the food is good and I will definitely order from them again... Next time I will try different items. Excellent Indian food here. I believe it's the best in the K-W area. It's great for takeout or dining in.

My family gets take-out weekly from Bombay Sizzler and we really look forward to it all week. Admittedly we have never sat there to eat as it can get busy. The food is phenomenal. We used to live near Little India in Toronto and were accustomed to the high quality of food we could easily find there. Bombay Sizzler gets those classic dishes right. We have yet to order anything that disappointed us. read more
