I would give this place zero stars if I could. I ordered the chicken tikka masala, and what I received was absolutely disgusting -- the chicken was clearly spoiled, black in color, and completely tasteless. Serving food that has gone bad is not only unprofessional, it's dangerous to customers' health. When I called to complain, they casually offered to "replace" the dish as if that makes it acceptable to serve rotten food in the first place. I asked for a refund because there's no way I'd trust them to send me another item, but they flat out refused and insisted I pick something else off their menu. Why would I want anything else from a restaurant that already proved they don't care about food safety? I will be filing a complaint with the food safety authorities to ensure this doesn't happen to anyone else. If you value your health and money, stay far away. read more

I randomly stumbled across this place while looking for somewhere to eat close by work... I wasn't particularly in the mood for Biryani but when I came across this place it reminded me of my time in Hyderabad. I remember the delicious flavours, spices and of course freshness of the food! One of my most favourite memories, and something that sets apart their Biryani was their use of raisins in the biriyani Let me first say that this place is absolutely delicious! The spices, the flavours, the lack of oil was all on point, and reminded me of my time in Hyderabad...The only thing that was missing was the raisins! I ordered the chicken biriyani lunch combo which came with aloo tiki, AMAZING raitha, a peanuty salan, and rice pudding to finish.. all felt $9.99! That's a price that can't be beat! I wanted to give this place a 4.5/5 bc of the lack of raisins, but I'm left feeling satisfied and generous. I'll definitely be back to try the other biriyani and thali combos!! read more

My friend's mom made some homemade Goan Sorpotel and I really wanted to pair it with some rice or naan so I decided, why not get both?! Plus, it gave me the opportunity to finally try out this place which is right in my area. You can dine in here but when I went for pick-up, the place was empty. There were, however, at least 3 pick-ups when I was there so you know they have a reputation. The young lady was very friendly and the place was very clean. Garlic Naan - So so buttery but I wish it was a bit more garlicky. And actually, it wasn't even as mildly garlicky. It was still so fresh and so good, though, so I'd still go back to order it. 4/5. Vegetable Biryani - I couldn't think of the "plainest" rice to go with the sorpotel so I just ordered this. The very generous serving had fresh seasonal vegetables cooked in aromatic spices and yogurt with basmati rice. It was pretty much a meal on its own. For $10, you got a very packed container that can probably feed up to 5 people no problem. The spice level was perfect especially with the yogurt on the side which balanced it out very well. 5/5. This place states they're halal and that they get their meat from Sargent Farms. We had the chicken mughlai, lamb gongura, chicken biryani and garlic naan. The gongura has a strong taste. Slightly earthy, slightly bitter, tiny bit tart. The mughlai was a light taste and creamy. Unlike most places, there was a good amount of meat and big chunks in the curry. The naan was relatively thin and soft but unfortunately more expensive than most places at $3.49. The size was average. Sufficient for one person. The samosa were two for $3.99. Bigger than Samosa King and CanBe. The pastry was flaky, thin and inside was dense with potatoes. The taste was not as flavorful as I would like though. I personally will not be purchasing it again. The chicken biryani was simple. Very few pieces of chicken. The raita which came included with the biryani was thin and runny, had chunks of cucumber and seemed to have little or no mint. I didnt really like it tbh. A little watery. I'd recommend the curries, biryani and naan. read more

Recently ordered their Chicken and Veg Biryani for Eid and it was a very good decision. Very neatly packed in spill proof containers, the portion size was adequate. Coming to the taste, it was bang on target. Use of basmati rice enhanced the flavours and the chicken was cooked perfectly. Would definitely be ordering again. read more

We decided to give this place another try yesterday, so this time we only ordered the Vegetarian Biryani. While waiting, for the food, my mom mentioned that last time, the Daal wasn't that great and if she could speak to the manager or owner. The head chef was more than willing to sit with her and hear out her concerns. He explained that the Daal does sit and simmer over the Tandoor, sometimes for a longer period. He apologized for the taste last time explaining that they had just recently opened and are still working out all their kinks, and offered to make her a fresh order of the Daal. My friend recommended this place after having tried their Biriyani through a bulk corporate lunch order. Don't under estimate this restaurant with the outside hoarding and sketchy complex. Even if it is a small restaurant it is a tidy little restaurant. If you are going as a large group - more than 6, would recommend to call them earlier and book tables. The interiors reminded me of Biriyani Restaurants back home! The menu startled me with other regular indian dishes and starters as well. I wasn't expecting that and for obvious reason expected the menu to be a long list of biriyanis! We went all in on Biriyanis and ordered three different ones. It took a little while but the dishes came fresh and hot. The waiters were kind and attentive but be expected to wait a little as it does seem understaffed when the place is full. The best thing I like about the Biriyanis was that each of them was unique and different. It wasn't like any other usual indian place where they have the base flavored rice and just mix up the protein pieces of your choosing. These dishes were crafted! Was really craving some chilli chicken and didn't have any expectations and wow while I was initially disappointed that there was no gravy with the chilli chicken, my disappointment vanished after the first bite. This wretched place has no concept of customer service. I had specifically ordered for the mildest version of their dishes, choosing the mild option as listed and providing further indication that no dish must be spicy. Instead the filthy morons made up the spiciest versions for all the dishes. Even a dish like Chicken Kurma which is supposed to be non-spicy was spicy af. I drove 40 mins to try their Biryani. Did not like the Boneless Special Chicken Biryani. It was like a Chicken Gravy mixed with Rice. Rice was a bit sticky due to more gravy used to mix. Lacked Biryani flavors. Salan was good. Not sure of other items in menu. If you are a Biryani Lover you should explore other places. If you mix cooked rice with Gravy it is NOT Biryani. Butter chicken was $12 and had maybe 7 pieces of chicken and the rest was all sauce, also it was quite spicy and different from other butter chickens that I've had at many Indian restaurants. Delicious food but terribly run restaurant. The food is so good so it makes up for the misses. I do think the misses are from a lack of restaurant experience from the owners. I'm confident that they will learn and their operations will tighten up. Regardless if it's busy or not the tables are full of dirty dishes. It is not a good look. Servers should always be clearing dirty dishes. I try to get take out because it's not a nice atmosphere. For example, when I sit down the water glasses are always dirty. It's not the inside of the glass, it's the outside. The service is incredibly slow as well. Be patient because it's worth the wait.
