Great specialty pizzas, good music selection. Overall good dishes but just because of my tastes, there are definitely some flavors I'd avoid, like a pickle pizza ( to each their own). Because of that, the number things I'm willing to order are fairly limited, but it still never disappoints.

We enjoy wood fired pizza and were looking forward to our lunch at Hyde Park. We were a little disappointed. There is seating out front. I think it's all picnic table seating. The seating inside is comfortable, but there were a few distractions. The tables with the aluminum-type chairs were pock marked, as if they'd been water damaged. There appeared to be a few newer tables and chairs for larger groups and there was a nice couch and coffee table setup at the front of the restaurant. The ceiling, which was black, also appeared to have water damage. Our server came to the table with a smile. She was helpful and took great care of us. We started with a Chop Salad. When we were finished our server cleared the table and brought us clean plates before the pizza arrived. Top notch service. The Chop Salad was easily enough for us to share. The lettuce was fresh and the blue cheese dressing was good. There was a lot of real crumbled bacon. It wasn't outstanding, but it was a tasty start to our meal. We ordered the Busy Bee pizza // house red sauce, fresh mozzarella, soppresatta, basil, chili, goat cheese, hot honey. The pizza was not cut well. There were steak knives on the table and we did our best to finish the cutting that was started in the kitchen area. The crust was thin, which left more room for the flavor of the toppings. Unfortunately, the pizza was dry because there was very little sauce. There was not much mozzarella, but there was a ton of goat cheese. Each of the eight pieces had one and sometimes two pieces of the soppresatta. The basil flavor was nice and I enjoyed the hot honey. Mark thought the pizza was too sweet. The overwhelming flavor of the pizza was goat cheese and honey. It was just okay overall. I did enjoy the crust ends, which captured the wood fired flavor. It was tender and delicious. We don't live in Texas, but visit often to see family. We most likely won't recommend dining here with our Texas family.

Food was so good...wow! We ordered an app next door and brought over then ordered mushroom pizza and wedge salad with added shrimp. Pizza was amazing...had that slight burnt edges we've been looking for! Finally! Ingredients were fresh...subbed marinara instead of mushroom sauce, and was so good. Wedge salad was fresh, tasty...yumm! Ordered toasted coconut old fashioned...needed to let the ice settle in but was good. Service was fast, friendly, helpful with suggestions. Ambiance honestly was chic, inviting, chairs were uncomfortable not gonna lie, high top table. Nice to be able to hear each other. Will definitely be back soon!

We've been meaning to try Hyde Park for such a long time now, but always went in another direction. They have a great menu with lots of options to choose from, but we came for the pizza! And oh my god! What a great pizza! They ferment their dough, giving the crust this airy soft annnd crunchy cornicione, it has a good flavor and doesn't leave you feeling bloated. The place is beautiful, with nice ambiance, and service was so quick! They have wonderful combinations, but we went with half pepper pepperoni amazing!!! With their fantastic house made sauce, acidic Calabrian chilis and great greasy toasty pepperoni, 100% recommended! And half busy bee, with house red sauce, great mozzarella cheese, soppresatta, basil, chili, goat cheese, and to top it off some hot honey, this was my husband's favorite, it was really good!! We are very happy we came to try Hyde park, we will be back!

Half Blanche Devereaux Half Fungi Pizza

Why 4 stars? Because the pizza was exactly what I was hoping it would be. --- --- --- After a long day visiting my family, I was a starvin' Marvin. I looked on my bookmarks to see what was nearby and Hyde Park Kitchen was a pretty easy choice for my destination. I couldn't resist ordering a pizza... it was just too hard to pick one, so I opted for a Half Blanche Devereaux and Half Fungi. The fungi was excellent, the Blanche Deveraux was solid. In retrospect, I should have asked for no artichoke, but I did enjoy it, overall. I would not hesitate to come back here to try many of the other pizzas. But we also ordered the octopus and upgraded it to come with brussels sprouts. I am not one to exaggerate for the sake of shock value... so please believe me when I tell you that this was one of the worst dishes I have had in 2024. I do not have it in me to do this, but my Mom asked the waiter to please send it back. I'm happy to say that he did and he removed it from the bill, but I just cannot believe how poorly done it was. Nothing had any flavor to it. Because they took it back, I'm treating my rating like I never had it. I'm only mentioning it for future Yelpers to avoid!

Cool restaurant with interesting pizza flavors! The Elote Pizza of the month was delicious and had all the flavors you'd find in your traditional corn in a cup!

Love getting the pizza here! They also have the best ranch! The staff is attentive and if you want to order from Nobi next door you can!

Noticed this place after dining at Nobi which is next door. We decided to have lunch here later in the week and it was a great choice! We shared the montano sandwich, the shorty, and some corn ribs to start. All three were delicious. The short rib is a small plate so given the price point, might not be worth it but the meat is succulent and perfectly tender. I would love to go back and try their pizzas and other offerings if I'm back in town.

    The Purple One
    Janet M.

Nobi House is one of my favorite places to eat in the area so I decided to try Hyde Park just next door. I ordered The Purple One minus the mozzarella. It was so flavorful. I think the bread was a pizza crust which was such a great idea; it was light and thin, not a lot of bread. Staff were friendly and attentive.

    Mechila B.

YUMM 100/10 Corn ribs- MUST I don't remember what the pasta was called that we ordered but both were phenomenallll and came with yummy garlic bread. We got a couple drinks- our first round were daiquiris I believe and then my friend got a fruit pebble drink. The fruit pebble was our favorite. The atmosphere and service was amazing everyone was so nice and things were really clean. They have two places next door that I think is owned or run by the same peeps- I haven't tried the gelato but the place next to it is great as well. Can't wait to come back!

Getting to this area from Pearland is much easier than heading into Houston so I was more than happy to come here. I've been here a couple of times and the most recent visit brought me and a party bus full of friends here on a Saturday night. The place gets busy but parking hasn't been an issue on any of my visits. It's a narrow bar that may seem tight, but it keeps going towards the back with more seating as well as a spacious patio. Customer service is always great and the bartenders know their stuff here. They have a pretty extensive drink menu here and there is something for everyone's preferences. They have a long list of cocktails and they can make you anything you want as well. The staff are experts here. They also have an impressive bourbon collections with about 200 kinds to choose from. Along with their cocktails, they have a long list of martinis. I love a good martini and here they have so many options. You can't go wrong with my favorite espresso martini, but the one that wowed me here was the Cucumber Patch. Cucumber flavor profile is not typically something I seek out, but I was in the mood for something refreshing and this was suggested to me. Get it and thank me later. As far as food goes, they have a separate BBQ business on site that sells some food. Don't sleep on the Bay Area if you are looking for a nice cocktail. And listen, I'm basically a certified alcoholic (just kidding... allegedly), so trust me when I say I know a good drink when I taste one. She literally told me she studies cocktail recipes day and night. Like... how cute is that? Meanwhile I can barely commit to folding my laundry. Then she proceeds to make me the SMOOTHEST, yummiest espresso martini my tastebuds have ever had the privilege of experiencing. One sip and I was astonished, emotional, slightly turned on, all of the above. This woman has the shake hands of a goddess. I think I fell in love a little bit. Also, shoutout to the super friendly man in the Hawaiian shirt and Bob Ross-style beret. He brought immaculate vibes to the whole place and made the experience even better (for the most part). Anyways, the drinks at this place are phenomenal. 1000% give this place a try. And if you get Bella as your bartender, congratulations- you ARE one of God's favorites.

I'm all about tropical vibes so we made our way over for a nightcap. Located in a shopping center, parking won't be a problem. We were there pretty late on a Thursday night. Ambiance (4/5): Tiki bars are all about ambiance. Hawaii vibes. What's cool about The Great Kanakas Atomic Tiki Bar, outside of their excellent name, is that they're indoors but the bar makes you feel like you're actually outside. I liked the concept. She even recommended an off-the-menu drink that other folks like which was a nice touch. Food (N/A): I was on a liquid diet so I'm not even sure if they have food. Drinks (4/5): When you're at a tiki bar, you're looking for a creative mix of flavors with a nice presentation. I went with a cocktail with such a cool name that I couldn't say no. You'll know it when you see the menu. It's a long name, sounds very Hawaiian, and you'll have difficulty pronouncing it. You'll get a kick out of it. While the drink were solid, I've seen more elaborate tiki drinks elsewhere. I'm talking the type where fire is evolved or fancy garnishes. Overall: Clear Lake surprisingly has quite a few cool bars. I ordered the Nobi dog, Nobi egg sandwich, and the bittersweet sundae. I was initially hesitant to order the Nobi dog, but my doubts were immediately quelled with the first bite. The Nobi dog was a standout item with the perfect balance of flavors and textures. The savory Kosher beef frank is complimented by the sweet and salty chargrilled pork, pickled carrots and daikon, and spicy sriracha mayo and jalapenos. The crunchy pickled vegetables and creamy mayo stand out against the tender pork and beef frank. I would definitely reorder the Nobi dog at a future visit. Unfortunately, the Nobi egg sandwich was only mediocre and left and impression no more than the simply the sum of its parts. The chargrilled pork was flavorful and egg had a pleasant fluffy texture, but the sandwich as a whole tasted rather boring and uninteresting, especially compared to the Nobi dog. The bittersweet sundae was a stout brownie with vanilla gelato, covered in whipped cream and was the lowest point of this meal, and I would recommend against ordering it. In my opinion, there was entirely too much whipped cream, which was foamy and runny and had a metallic off-note, perhaps from the can it likely came from. After digging through the mountain of whipped cream, I was further disappointed by the texture of the brownie, which had an unpleasant eggy taste and texture. The vanilla gelato was only okay, and did little to salvage this disappointing dessert. Despite its shortcomings, Nobi's service was excellent and attentive. Even on a crowded Tuesday dinner, our waiter frequently checked in on our party. The restaurant is fairly spacious and can accommodate large (8+ people) parties, however it may be a challenge if you plan to visit on a Tuesday night. Overall I would return to Nobi's, specifically for the Nobi dog or the amazing $10 pork chop deal and to explore their wide selection of beers. Aside from that, I would be willing to try other items, but I definitely would not reorder the Nobi egg sandwich nor the bittersweet sundae.
