Great, great, great! What a wonderful experience! I checked in after a long flight in the evening and had exceptional customer service by Holly. She was so professional and nice and quickly had my keys ready to go! My room was on the 39th floor which was AMAZING!!! I got to take the fast elevators every time I came or left. It was so smooth and quick. Even my ears would plug because of the fast ascent/descent! I was so excited to see my room and it did not disappoint. It smelled so new and clean when I walked in. Not huge, but perfect for me. Very modern and clean design. I loved it! I chose this hotel because I wanted to be downtown, in a safe, clean hotel. AND because my fellow Yelpers were giving it 5 stars. I concur! A 5 star experience! Hyatt never disappoints. The view was incredible, the bathroom was great, the beds were great. Everything was great. Other Yelpers mentioned the beds were too firm. Not for me! The bed was perfect and I slept amazing! They also mentioned low water pressure in the shower. I have to disagree. I think the shower was great. The water flow was nice and soft, not like needles pounding down on you. The water heated quickly and stayed hot. None of those little tiny shampoo/conditioner bottles to fumble with. They have dispensers for body wash/shampoo/conditioner so you can use what you need without fear of running out. I also loved how the shower was open so it didn't get hot and steamy. The room has its own thermostat so you can control temperature and for the most part it's nice and quiet. You can hear the other guests talking in the hall quite loudly, but it didn't bother me. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I would stay here again! **Bonus** If you travel with your pet this is a dog friendly hotel. I saw so many different dogs here from Rottweilers to pit bulls to poodles and all were very well behaved with no barking. No messes in or around the hotel either. read more

By far the best hotel I have ever stayed at. EVER. It was really the most incredible place. We were here for two weeks and at the end we didn't want to leave.. We had a really terrible experience with our first hotel in Seattle, so we got our money back and came here instead. We are very very happy we did. We were able to get on the highest floor they had and were facing the bay and could see Mount Rainer too (when it wasn't so cloudy). The service was also the best we have ever had at a hotel. Everyone we encountered in the two weeks we were there were so friendly and wanted to be helpful. We even took a shot once to see if there was a toaster we could use, and they brought us up one to our room within minutes. This place is truly worth it to stay. When we come back to Seattle, this is the place we will always stay. read more

We were only here for 12 hours but the experience was absolutely delightful! Easy check in, neat and modern lobby and elevators (the fast elevators too, I felt like I was in Japan!) and a great room. The shower was solid although the water could have been hotter and love the use-less-plastic initiative they have going on the west coast. The room comes complete with gorgeous views of the sound or mountains on a clear day and even better, a keurig machine or a selection of hot tea if that's your jam! Comfy bed and quiet the entire time we were there. They have a sit down breakfast place or a market where you can get pre made items or grab and go. I wish we had more time here! read more

I want to give this hotel 5 stars, the rooms are great and the location is perfect. Staff are also kind and accessible. However, the food options at this hotel are subpar. But my biggest complaint and reason for docking stars is due to the noise in the rooms. I was here for a work conference that was taking place at this hotel, it is clearly a great hotel for conferences. I was put in a king bed room that had a connecting door to another room. I could literally hear every single thing the guests staying in the room next to me were saying. I could easily hear their tv show and music as well. Throughout the day they were taking work calls and it was so loud I could not work in my room during conference breaks. This was particularly frustrating at night when I was trying to sleep. The noise kept me up. I asked the hotel if anything could be done and they said if it is not during quiet hours they can't do anything. As an east coast gal, I was going to bed early. Quiet hours at this hotel start at 11 PM which is 2 AM my time. I totally get the policy and understand but they need to do something to reduce the noise that travels through those connecting doors!! Clean and simple hotel! Absolutely convenient location as it is a close walking distance to the Seattle convention center, Starbucks Reserve, and other yummy places to eat! This hotel has many floors and your ears will definitely pop going up and down to and from your room! The rooming was a little tight but still spacious enough for 4 people. ** The mirror lighting is amazing in the bathroom but the biggest downfall is the NO door in the shower. The water will definitely splatter so make sure to place a towel down for your feet so you don't slip!! ** The staff is super nice and accommodating; always catering to one's' needs - can call for towels, cleaning at any time etc and their return time is pretty quick! Very nice and clean rooms. However, the staff at Andare does NOT want to serve more than 7 people in a group (we had 8). So we walked 2 blocks up the street and had an amazing meal at the Asian restaurant. Well worth the walk!!! So thankful for the waitress that did not want our business at Andare!!! Thank you to the bartender, Mark! Wonderful service! Much appreciated! So we decided to come back to have a few drinks after dinner. Can't say much for the lady that came around at the end of the night and busted everyone's bubble! We were having a great time until she came around and seemed to be closing out the shifts and being rude to the customers that had been there for hours. Not recommended for those traveling that want to enjoy the service that is offered at the motel that you are staying at. Go elsewhere next time!!! I know we will. read more

Excellent property in the Hyatt portfolio. The location is within walking distance to Pike's Place market, Pacific Place and a brisk hike up to Capitol Hill. I checked in around 7 PM and was warmly greeted by the front desk. They offered me a map of the vicinity, scheduled my 1 hour gym slot the next morning and handed me a (glass) bottle of VOSS water. It was getting late and I didn't want to drive over to Sawyer for dinner. I looked at the menu for the on-site restaurant Andare Kitchen and saw they had a happy hour till 8:30 PM. I was quickly seated and ordered their HH BSB drink along with the meatballs for the appetizer and the Carne pizza. Everything was delicious and I ended up with several extra slices to pop into the fridge in the room. The next morning, I rolled into the gym during my reservation time and was the only guest there the whole time. The AC was running a bit strong but I was able to do my 30 minute Ally Love + Beyoncé ride on one of their four Pelotons at the gym. Their cardio equipment is similar to the ones you'll find at an equinox and their weights weren't that bad either. I had a 2 PM late check out arranged so with two and a half hours to spare, I was able to walk down to Pacific Place, get XLBs at Din Tai Fung, Chowder next door at Pike Place Chowder and then walked down to Pike's Place Market and back with 30 minutes to spare. Overall, the standard for cleanliness was top notch but always carry those disinfecting wipes when in doubt. Parking was easy (if the gate is down, just use the intercom to get in) and the overnight parking rate was $18 which was reasonable for this type of hotel. read more

This place was niiiiice. I loved the rooms and the glass front refrigerator. The tv's were nice sizes and even had the extended USB port hanging below to hook your first icky or.game.up to it since it was wall mounted. The place is clean and two restaurants at the bottom with a little sandwich cafe. That broilermaler steak house.. lawd. Lol, it's located in the heart of downtown. So was able to walk to the Macy's a d the little tram that took you to the needled point. Also a good distance but we walked to the Fisher market as well.The only thing that was bad is the parking. You would think staying at the Hyatt would be a pleasant hotel for a quick trip to Seattle... not the case. NEVER. ANY. PARKING. My family and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The first night took about 10 minutes to go inside the parking garage that says "full" and when you leave you're paying $10 for less than 10 MINUTES. That's not the worst part. All we were trying to do was park and unload so we can check in at the hotel. We asked the hotel for help and they advise we tell them that we're in the garage and they open the valet lot. It gets worse. We didn't even start off the hotel with a hotel key to check in and out so we're paying out of pocket but okay that make sense. When my husband was in the valet lot nobody told us anything about a hotel key for in and our privileges and my husband didn't have to pay. GREAT. We got parking. This was just one night of BS. 1) we drove around the hotel maybe 30 minutes to find parking 2) we went in the full parking garage paid $10 less than 10 minutes 3) we were told to parking at the valet lot where someone will open the gate Okay my husband parked there but he ended up in the employee room where he made great friends there cause my husband was asking around where does he go for the hotel front desk... smh. He was told he wasn't allowed to be in the employee room but somehow he ended up there! The second night it also took about 40 minutes to find parking maybe more but we kept driving around the city trying to find parking in general near our hotel! We kept calling the hotel operator that advised us where we needed to park. We parked at lot but was told we weren't supposed to park there so I called the hotel back and popped off on a lady and told them we have an infant in the car, we're still looking for parking & that we're tired driving around the city looking for one. She told us to park on the 6th floor and someone will assist us. She told us that there was an event going on and that there should be parking. I'm starting to think the hotel was lying in the first place cause where else were they supposed to put hotel guest? They don't even have valet! That's THE WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE! The lady told me my husband needed to drop my infant and I off to the front and he should go find parking. Come to find out my husband found 1 spot an hour LATER and he was so irritated, pissed off! I also find it funny how at the checkout they ask how was our experience with them. I lied myself and told them it was GREAT when reality why would I argue with the hotel about no parking at their lot when they have a sign in front of elevators saying the garage is first come first serve to the public. I'm definitely staying away from this hotel. Way to many one way streets, no parking OBVIOUSLY! Lol Oh and the hotel wanna charge us 2 nights in and our privileges but the first night we didn't have a hotel key to check in the garage ? So how would they know to charge us ? So they assume we parked there ? Isn't our hotel key connected to the garage ? If the hotel key kept track of our parking situation how would they know we parked there the first night ? Hotel is perfect location. Several days we walked to the Pike Place market and the convention center within 15 minutes. It was less than a 10 min monorail ride to the Climate Pledge Arena and Space Needle. The monorail picks you up near Nordstrom ( about a three minute walk from the hotel. )The weather was a bit smoky the first day we were there, but the view from our room on the 39th floor was still great. We could see the water and the Ferris Wheel at night. The hotel was very quiet and super clean. The restaurants in the hotel were good, just a little expensive and closed early. What kind of hotel of this price point doesn't do food room service??? Other than that, I enjoyed the stay. I was here for a conference, which was located on the 6th and 7th floors. Very nicely organized, though the names of the different rooms are in really small font. I like how there are screens outside the different rooms to tell you what is in session and what's coming up. The two Regency halls are pretty big, and every room has a water dispenser. I tried some of the good at the market on the 2nd floor - pretty good! The burrito and bacon sandwich are pretty good and hold up well in the fridge as well. As for the room - very nice. The only critique I have is that the fridge in the room I was staying would make a loud bang noise every time the compressor turned off. I ended up using towels and pillows to barricade it and block the sound at night. The bed was really comfortable, and the couch was a nice touch. They offer tea, coffee, and water in the rooms. And there's a desk, table, and huge tv. There's no ice bucket in the room, but if you go to the 8th floor ice room, they have buckets there that you can fill and bring up. Lastly, although they offer mobile keys... they don't work reliably. I recommend getting a physical key at the front. Several people I spoke with said the same thing. Pro tip: get the Hyatt app and you can manage check in and check out without having to go through the front desk lines. read more

I stayed here for an event at the Seattle Convention Center. This is a standard but very nice hotel. If you are going to the convention center, it's just a 2 minute walk. Everything is very clean. It is a little annoying if you're in a high floor in an elevator because you have to wait awhile to get to your floor if other people are getting off at lower floors (you can easily have to wait for 5-7 other stops), but the views are very lovely. read more

As a Globalist this is my favorite hotel in Seattle. Really modern building and room finishes, amazing views especially when you get upgraded to the high floors, and great complimentary breakfast options (both a buffet and a takeout cafe). Points-wise, it costs the same as the Hyatt House and Hyatt Place (all Cat 4) which is mindblowing to me. The Hyatt Regency is sooo much nicer and more modern, it's not even close. The location is great too, right in downtown and within a 15 min walk you can easily get to from Pike/Pine in Capitol Hill and Pike Place Market. It's also across the street from the newly constructed Seattle Convention Center, so great spot for business visitors. read more

Our check in experience was lovely and the hotel bar servers were great. That's where the positive feedback ends. The bedding in our room was dirty and stained with red and brown spots. I'm going to say it was from wine and coffee to ease my mind. I called the front desk and it took them more than 30 minutes to send housekeeping with fresh linens. After a long travel day, the last thing I needed was an extra half hour waiting to go to bed. Service at checkin was fine but they didn't have my member reward number so they didn't assign a room based on my preferences, which was annoying. The Hyatt Regency Seattle is fresh, modern, and centrally located. Having opened its doors in 2018, the property's room feel modern and fresh. Everything from the interior design, layout, regency club, and lobby area look modern and vibrant. During my visit, the club was not serving breakfast so as Globalist, we recieved breakfast at any of the property's restaurants. Food was good but nothing of note. The hotel is new and modern with great amenities like a coffee/quick breakfast spot, a nice regency area, a great restaurant and lovely views! The one down side we've found has been the noise through the walls/adjoining doors can be tough but it's infrequent. If you need to cancel even 10+ days prior to arrival, they will inexplicably charge you for the entire stay and charge a number of hidden fees. My favorite hotel in Washington. Last visit was this past weekend watching my lowly Commanders lose to the equally low 'hawks. Great weekend overall, aside from the smug guy at the end telling me "late checkout was not an option bc they were at full capacity." The glee was ridiculous, but everyone else was great. From check-in, to "the Market," where I had a $15 credit a day as a perk for being an awards member. Jordan at the bar slayed both nights. Still plenty of parking (despite being at "full capacity"), very clean facilities overall. No digital card issues like many other hotels. Awesome view from my 33rd floor room. This Hyatt is huge and crowded so not very personal. I like that there are different sets of elevators so it doesn't stop too much and get too crowded. Globalist breakfast on 1st floor was buffet though you order your waffle or omelette from the server. Attempts to include local offerings- meat, cheese, breads. Not bad but not great. Beautiful, fresh, modern hotel in downtown Seattle boasting 1,260 sleeping rooms and a little over 100,000 of meeting space. While this hotel is the largest in the city, it does not have the feel of being the colossally big venue that it is. The contemporary feel in the lobby invites guests to visit with others in little pods scattered throughout the lobby. On the opposite side of the check in area is a coffee shop, Andare Reataurant and more open seating areas. Up a flight of escalators, is the famous Daniel's Broiler (YUM!) and a speakeasy called Rickhouse Whiskey for all my fellow whiskey connoisseurs (also YUM!) On to the guest rooms...WOW!!! Not only are they inviting and beautiful, but they have an open closet concept, GIGANTIC bathrooms with a huge, wall to wall lit mirror (THANK YOU!!!!!) and unbeatable view of Seattle and the breathtaking Puget Sound. One thing to note....these amazing bathrooms in the standard guest rooms are the same size as the bathrooms in the larger suites. Wow! The hospitality suites are spacious and set up to feel much like being in a friends home. If you're in Seattle, this is a lovely spot to dine, sleepover, or hold a meeting or convention! I stayed here for the weekend on a solo trip to Seattle to visit some friends. It's pretty comparable in price to other hotels in the area, but their ratings were higher than some of the others, so I booked here. I can see how they earned those ratings. It's between 8th and 9th street, so not right beside the tourist attractions but very walkable for downtown activities. I flew in and took the light rail to Westlake Station, which is about 0.3 miles away, it was an easy walk from there. It's also convenient for buses to Capitol Hill and other neighborhoods. It's a quiet area with lots of amenities nearby, including restaurants on site and a good coffee shop just a block down the street. When I arrived they had signs requesting guests wear masks, and most people were complying. A new indoor mask mandate has just been instituted and I overheard a staff member telling another guest that although it begins Monday, they started adhering to it early. Check-in only took a couple of minutes and they asked if I'd like to book housekeeping during my stay. The elevators up to my floor were quick and plentiful, and the corridors were well lit. The room was super nice. Everything was new and in working order. It had a lot of useful touches, like a 4-hook coat rack by the door, bathroom amenities, a mini fridge with a glass door, and combination lamps and reading lights. Plenty of outlets, and the wifi worked well. The shower was a little light and didn't drain quickly but that was my only real issue. The bed was comfortable, the desk very functional. I liked that the night stands have little cubby holes. I felt like I wasn't going to leave anything behind. Why does the Grand Hyatt have 1 more star than this place? I really liked it. The TV in the room is HUGE! And that's pretty much all it takes to get a 5 star review from me. Nice hotel in great location! The rooms are clean and fresh with white bedding and towels! There is a Sixt rental location below (will review that separately ) and you can rent a car there. They always have infused water in the lobby and the staff are always there to welcome you. They have a keurig machine and teas in each room. They also give you Aquafina bottled water. I burned my hand with my curling iron and they had antibiotic ointment, bandaids and burn gel, they brought it right up. They also have feminine products and make-up wipes. They are very accommodating and have lots of goodies if you forgot anything at home. The bathrooms are fresh and the showers have new glass doors. The bath products are vegan and cruelty free and smell wonderful. They are locked in and have pumps so you don't have to mess with flimsy little travel size bottles when in the shower. The blow dryer is awesome, baby Liss brand. In the lobby, they have umbrellas by the door, Incase you need one in the misty rain in Seattle. They have separate elevator banks for the different floors and the hotel has many entrances to go/come from depending on where you are headed to. The lobby is bright and very welcoming. This seems to be a new hotel - totally updated and high tech. Comfortable beds, nice clean rooms with all the amenities. Includes an in room mini fridge, keurig coffee maker, and an in room safe for securing your valuable jewelry, socks, and underwear. There's a GINORMOUS flat panel TV mounted on the wall and it has a Chromecast built into it. If you load the Hyatt app on your phone, you can stream anything to it over Wi-Fi for free. Music, Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc. - ANYTHING that streams for your Wi-Fi device. I heard absolutely ZERO noise from the hallways, or anyone above or below me. Perfectly quiet. It's within walking distance to the Convention Center (.2 mile) Pike Place Market (.5 mile), Pioneer Square (1 mile), and more. It's very convenient to walk to many restaurants, markets, shopping, and more. My only customer service interaction was at the front desk, and it was perfect. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat! I had a wonderful stay at the HR Seattle the night before flying back home. I was upgraded to the top level executive suite, granted late checkout and recognition as a valued guest. Very seamless check in and check out process, many thanks to Jandrea at the front desk! The suite itself was very modern and sleek, with tons of power outlets in case you need to wrap up some work after a fun day exploring Seattle ;) Spacious bathroom, a large and comfortable king-sized bed to sprawl on, and sweeping views of downtown Seattle made me wish I had stayed another night. Currently the globalist complimentary breakfast includes selecting a few items from The Market on the second floor. The Regency Club is open with card access, but with very limited options such as an automated coffee machine, tea bags, and bottles of water. Overall, I definitely would stay here again. Wow this is by far the best Hyatt I've stayed in the Continental US! Very luxurious and new! Located walkable to pretty much everywhere you want to go - Pike Place, downtown, convention center. We were able to check in earlier and checked out an hour later than the usual. We were on the 31st floor and the views at night were amazing! There's free Starbucks Keurig, bottled aquafina, tea, and creamer/sugar. There's also a real nice mini fridge. Bathroom wise, there were bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. Surprisingly there was also mouth rinse, toothpaste, and cotton swabs. Towels were really soft and the bed was super comfy! The linens were so fresh and clean. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. I was incredibly pleased with this hotel. Check in was easy and quick, rooms are spacious and clean, plus I loved the modern bathrooms with the dimmed lighting. They have shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispensers in the shower. I appreciate that the products contained natural ingredients and were cruelty free. There's a small fridge and microwave in each room along with a bunch of Starbucks keurig pods. Staff were helpful and I had a wonderful view of the city from my room on one of the top floors. Was in town for work so stayed here. Great hotel overall. Room was nice and clean service was rather friendly. Did have a slight hiccup during the stay where a bottom fire alarm went off which triggered the elevators to stop and so us being on the top floors ie 22 their was not alarm or announcement so we had to walk down 22 flights to figure out what was going in in which we met up with people from floor 15 and 10 who also had no idea so the lack of communication in a situation as such was alarming however they apologize and addressed the situation. Other than that decent location and great stay. Also be aware alot of the brand restaurants on-site no longer let you charge the meal to your room . read more

This Hyatt is one of the largest on the west coast. It's fairly new and expected the customer service to be a lot better than I received. Upon arrival, I waiting at the World of Hyatt counter for 10 minutes before someone from the other counters asked me if anyone was helping me. This Hyatt doesn't seem to appreciate the status of your membership since I was not upgraded upon checking in. On my second day, I needed a spare key made. I waited at the World of Hyatt counter for 8 minutes before anyone noticed me (nobody was in line checking in). The poor membership service was made up for by the associates in the Club Regency! She was very welcoming, friendly, and caring. It was very obvious that she very much enjoyed her job. I didn't catch her name but she moved here from Hawaii and wore a beautiful flower over her left ear. Her service was one of the best I've ever received at a Hyatt. read more

Nice clean and modern property. There's a coffee maker and refrigerator in the room which is nice. You can call if you need more amenities delivered to your room during your stay such as bottled water, coffee, toilet paper etc. Items are delivered quickly to your room. There is an on-site gym that is pretty decent for a hotel gym which is available 24/7. Parking is a bit pricey if you have to park on premise, $43 per day. There is a restaurant and grab and go snack bar on property but we never tried them. There are a lot of food options off property and nearby. read more

This hotel is nice with looks and lots of other things. But it is very misleading, for example we were told that there is a pool in the building. Come to find out it's is across the street and we have to pay extra. It's not like a five-ten dollar charge for the pool, it is 50 dollars each person. And for my family(11 people) that is already spending a lot of money on this trip cannot drop extra money like that especially for one day pass. On the website we were told it was complementary.
