I just got back from staying at the Crowne Plaza for an overnight birthday trip. It's a lovely hotel! The staff are great, the building is beautiful and clean, and the bedrooms are comfortable. I would say there are a couple of negatives, but not enough to prevent me from staying there again. One, the cost to valet park overnight is $63. Second, the curtains in the room appear to be blackout curtains, but light comes in everywhere. And lastly, breakfast only goes until 10:00 a.m., but check out is noon. We really didn't want to get up at 9:00 to go have breakfast when we still had hours before we had to leave. Also, the bar and dinner restaurant don't open until 5:00 p.m. Aside from that, it's in a good location. Definitely walkable downtown, but prepare to get a decent amount of steps in.

I had a great experience staying at the Crowne Plaza Seattle-Downtown while on a work trip. Check-in was smooth and I was upgraded to a super nice suite (through IHG status). My room had a great view of the city, including the Space Needle. It was especially beautiful during sunset! The bed was comfortable and the location was convenient. Would return for a future stay!

We had an early flight so we came directly to the hotel to store our luggage while we went to Pikes Market. The men by the door greeted us right away and helped us store our luggage while we checked in with the receptionist. They were very welcoming and helpful. He even helped me with the elevator. The receptionist let me know she would text me when my room is ready since we arrived at 11am, way before actual checkin. Btw, they have umbrellas to loan you if you need it. We walked to Pikes Market which was a straight shot down and to the right. It's very walkable there. Took about 15 minutes out so. The convention center is like 5-10 minute walk. Starbucks Reserve is about 15 minute walk. If you're going there, stop by Voodoo Donuts. So good! You can thank me later! Ok, Back to the hotel. Beds were so comfy. I didn't toss and turn at all! Rooms are updated nicely and were very clean. The in room coffee maker comes with coffee and tea pods with 2 bottled waters. I really enjoyed that coffee! There's a mini fridge, no microwave. Rooms were a good size which I felt were bigger than the standard. They have robes in the closet if you're feeling fancy. They have soap, lotion, shampoo, etc in pumps which is convenient. I was on the 33rd floor which had a nice view. Ice machine was situated on the floor above and below me. My floor has the vending machine. They have a fillable water station below the lobby floor. Overall, great stay, nice and updated hotel, comfy beds, great location and great service.

Had multiple times the room key wasn't working and got stalled in the elevator on a few occasions. But they were quick to remedy the situation and provide a new key. Car parking is 63.00 unlimited access, but you will be charged daily. Hard to find street parking only valet parking. The rooms are spacious. Nice ample lighting in the rooms. Courtesy water and coffee available. No microwave but small fridge available. Price was reasonable for the daily rooms but dang that daily parking fee. Beds were comfy and just noticed they like to have lots of hand towels in the bathroom.

Every front desk staff that I interacted with was very friendly and patient. Someone brought us water but I didn't get his name, thank you too! The hotel has many floors, requiring guests to tap their room card to select the floor they are going to. There are 4 guest elevators in total. Lobby can get very crowded when large groups checking-in or checking-out at the same time. We were lucky that upon arrival, there were rooms available for early check-in. There were noises from elevators and/or staircase renovation, front desk staff also helped us change to another room. I like the room is spacious and updated. The first room I got didn't have luggage rack, the second room I got missed a bar piece in the mini fridge. The second room also had one hair in the sink and the other hair on the bath mat. Gym is located on the 5th floor, the newer treadmill allows user to select a fun route. We did not park here but the parking is pricey. Note the if you have never been to Seattle, there are a lot of uphills and downhills. This hotel is on the hill, if you walk from the pier and Pike Place, there are a lot of steep uphills along Seneca Street. There are some bus stops nearby, but there are also many homeless people by the bus stops (my advice: buses are not the best public transportation in Seattle for tourists). Overall no complain from my stay; if you don't mind the uphills, I would recommend this hotel.

I received exceptional customer service today at the front desk. I was helped by this amazing person. Tyrhas went above and beyond to get me the items I needed it.I asked for a shower cap but when I came back to get it she had a whole goodie bag set up for me with all the toiletry items! Thank you so much!

This is a seriously renovated brand new Crown Plaza in the middle of downtown Seattle. The lobby feels nice, cozy and elegant. We booked a suite with spacious living room and amazing view to Space Needle. Great water refills options in lobby (cucumber flavored). Because of our diamond status, we got complimentary breakfast. They have both buffet and menu options in the dining area called Elevation. The meal was fantastic with tons of options like smoke salmon with onion, which is my favorite. The staff was super friendly and even brought me my purse when we left and forgot to take it :p The only negative part of the experience is that the shower drain was very slow in the bathroom. I'm sure it's an easy fix though.

Morning view from the room :)

Mixed reviews... I stayed at the Crowne Plaza Seattle recently for a conference. Location-wise, it's a short walk to the Convention Center (about 5-minute walk if you cut through the park, though I wouldn't cut through the park at night). Front desk check-in was friendly. I arrived about an hour early (2pm) hoping that early check-in was available. My room wasn't available yet (which is fair, check-in is at 3pm), but I was able to leave my bags and give them my phone number so that they could notify me when the room was ready. Ultimately, the room was basically ready for 3pm check-in (I got a call at 2:50pm). The room was nice overall, but cleaning, particularly in the bathroom, was not thorough. There was already a clump of hair in the bathtub before anyone used it, there was someone else's hair stuck on the "fresh" hanging towel, and there was hair stuck to the shower curtain before use. The water pressure in the shower was also temperamental - it got very weak periodically which was frustrating. While I appreciate management reaching out via text to check how our stay was going (and the same feedback was communicated to them), the issues remained throughout our stay, despite being assured that a more thorough cleaning would be done for the rest of our stay. There was also a lack of attention to detail during the cleaning - one of the shampoo bottles was removed completely instead of refilled, so we had to call for a replacement. Fortunately, they responded quickly to the request. Bathroom cleaning issues aside, the beds were comfortable and the desk was a nice space to get some work done. We had a corner room with a scenic city view, and there was also a mini fridge which was helpful for storing leftovers. At check-out, I was able to leave my bags with them for the day while I did some more touristy things. When I was ready to collect my bags, they brought them out in a jiffy. Our stay was good, but not great.

Beautiful view of Seattle's Space Needle from the 34th floor

Now on to the room. The room was modestly sized with furniture shoved into every available space. The floors are plastic and cold. TV lost connection no less than 5 times forcing us to miss a few minutes of the show to reboot it. The best part was the bed. Very comfy bed. The comforters they provide are not designed for tall people though. The bathroom was not great. The shower is small with a temp control that sticks causing jumps in water temp. From luke warm to scalding quickly. For men beware the toilet. The water level is so high if you have to sit down to potty you will need to squat or parts might find themselves taking a swim in murky waters if you know what i mean. I would have normally told the staff all of this but the icy frosting on this stay was check out where the staff gave no greeting, didn't ask how the stay was or even express any positive sentiment towards us. In a city full of places to stay don't be fooled by there advertised low price. You end up with a low price experience for a high price in your check book.

When we came back and our room was ready, my husband did call down and mentioned it was our anniversary since they had confirmed in previously but we didn't see anything in the room, and they were very kind to bring up a little treat for us including some delicious chocolate covered strawberries. We did try the restaurant (All Water) both for dinner and brunch the next day. Service was very slow unfortunately for the restaurant (it took 1.5 hours while the restaurant wasn't busy, and they did forget our side of grilled broccolini until after we finished our meals/reminded them). We tried the tuna hamachi crudo, clams and mussels, roasted hen of the woods and grilled broccolini. The tuna hamachi crudo was good, though I was hoping for more brightness in the flavor. I enjoyed the clams and mussels as well as the roasted hen of the woods overall, but felt the grilled broccolini was a little too dry (seemed grilled without any oil or seasoning). We did also try a few seasonal mocktails which were delicious and the highlight of the meal. Brunch the next day was take out and we went with a steak and eggs and a caesar salad. Both were solid, but note that the caesar salad came with actual little sardines, so for those picky eaters, this may be a bit much.

I don't expect that exact thing every time, but when staying at a premium hotel like this, little things really make the experience a lot more enjoyable. It felt starkly different this time in terms of the service and generosity -- much more generic. - My room was far noisier than my previous visit. The provided shampoo, conditioner, soap, and lotion worked well and had a nice light citrusy scent. There was a Keurig machine in the room; not my jam but helpful in a pinch. We always got stocked with dark roast coffee pods, which is my preference, whoo. Also an empty mini fridge which we were able to use for beverages and leftovers. The 7th floor has a nice little seating area outside the bar where I was able to get some quiet work done one weekday, and the outdoor terrace offers a mountain view on clear days. The fitness center is small: just two treadmills, one recumbent bike, an elliptical, a peloton, and many dumbbells, but I had no problem getting a treadmill run in each morning before 9 am. Water bottle fillers on floors 1 and 4 were super convenient, too. The valet parking is very convenient but pricy. You might want to check Spot Hero or similar to see if you can get a better deal on parking nearby. It had a beautiful full length mirror. There was a flatscreen TV, but we had so many wonderful activities we did not use it. The bathroom was updated but still fit with the historic look. There were two showerheads in the tiled shower. Breakfast was lovely. I, personally, have a great deal of food allergies. There was ample selection that I was able to enjoy just as much as anyone else. There were breads and pastries, jams and spreads, yogurt and fresh berries, and a hot breakfast dish. Hard boiled eggs were available as well as cheeses and meats. There was a coffee bar that was available all day that also had tea and cocoa. We sat at the long dining table enjoying each others company and conversation. We got to meet some of the other guests which added to the experience. If we find ourselves back in Seattle, this is where I will want to stay.

The greeters always opened the door for me, the check-in desk staff were courteous and always had a smile, and the checkout process was also quick and ended with an invitation to return to the property the next time I'm in Seattle. As soon as I stepped out of my Uber upon initial arrival, a staff member walked up to open my door and asked if I needed help with my bags. My room was comfortable in every aspect. The temperature controls worked great, the bed was very comfortable and had an adequate number of pillows, the bathroom was well-appointed, and everything was very clean. The bath towels were large, soft, and plush. The frosted door to the water closet was a nice touch for the sake of privacy if you were sharing the space with someone. The shower was not huge but it was more than adequately spacious for me. There were 2 robes hung in the bathroom (though I didn't use them). The small table and chairs near the window were convenient and comfortable to work from. The view from my room was very nice, especially during clear days when you can see the water and the mountains in the distance. The room was always well maintained after the typical morning cleaning as well as during turn down service. I appreciated the staff placing slippers by the bed and how they always nicely arranged my toiletries in the bathroom, replaced used towels with fresh ones, and even placed things on the table in the bedroom (like my charger, earbud case, eyeglass case, and so on) neatly for when I returned. The bar area at the back of the restaurant was a nice little area and had a table large enough for our group of around 8-10 to comfortably sit at while enjoying a nightcap. My breakfast the day I checked out was also high quality and my server Nathan was pleasant, timely, and honest about prep time of some items I wanted to order but was constricted due to a time crunch. In general, every staff member I encountered was pleasant, eager to help, and always smiled and made eye contact when speaking with me. All in all, I had a wonderful experience and have no complaints. This property is one of the top 2-3 Four Seasons hotels I have stayed at over the past several years. I would wholeheartedly stay here again!

Upon entry to the room, I was greeted with a small (and delicious) cake, sparkling wine, and a handwritten card with bday wishes. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. In the morning at the lobby, they had local coffee and mini-donuts or muffins. In the late afternoon in the lobby, they had pink lemonade and snacks (gummy bears, brownies, nuts/dried fruit). Location was a quick 5 min walk to Pike Market which was a fun place to pick up souvenirs made by local artisan to bring home. So much good food as well (Sushi Koshiba, Place Pigelle, The Pink Door, Piroshky Piroshky)

The downtown area, Pike Place market, the overlook deck, all were within 10 minutes walking distance. Despite arriving few minutes past midnight, our check-in process was easy. The room was well furnished. All amenities in the room and bathroom worked fine. Our room had a balcony with full glass window. Since the building was U shaped, all the rooms from other side could see our room, and vice versa. So, the setup was not best privacy wise, we had to use the curtains most of the time. But we got a gorgeous view of the pear and mountain range from the room. The lobby area also had wonderful interior and plenty of areas to sit. The hotel had M lounge where we were able to get snack and drinks throughout our stay. There was one restaurant adjacent to the hotel and a bar as well that appeared to get busy around dinner hours. All staff members we interacted with were very friendly and helpful. The hotel had gym and pool as well. The pool was split into half indoor and half outdoor. The water was bit warm, so despite the weather being chili outside, we were able to use the pool. But the disappointing part the floor area around the pool was so under maintained. There were cracks, dirt, uncovered holes, things that I had rarely seen for a Marriott hotel. Our room was also next to a portion of the building's roof that had bird poop, dirt, and weed. Though we had a wonderful time staying at this hotel, some these minor factors were sore eye to the experience.

I called reservations who said they would allow me to move the reservation to another night for $800 and waive the cancellation fee $500. The front desk stooge said no, they would not waive the fee. So a Platinum member who always shows up, never complains literally can't get to the hotel and even partial refund. Bullshit. I will NEVER stay at your half ass hotel.
