Checkin was easy, but parking is an additional charge. However, the hotel staff was upfront about it from our first contact with them. Parking is underground and is secured with dropdown grates. Nobody is going to wander in down there after dark. There is an elevator from the parking garage up to the lobby and rooms. Room 516 is a king suite and it is phenomenal! It has a kitchen with pots, pans, dishes, glasses, flatware, even has a dishwasher! There is a small lounge like seating area with a flatscreen TV in the wall between the bedroom and lounge. The TV actually spins around to watch in bed. There is a closet with an iron and board as well as a huge in-room safe, big enough for several laptops. There are also dresser drawers for those of us who like to unpack. The bathroom has a rolling barn door. The shower is huge! Big enough to fall and not hit your head. The 8th floor has an open air terrace with nice views, patio furniture, sun umbrellas and fire pits for the evening. It's a great location to see the Space Needle next door all lit up at night. The on-site restaurant lounge is the HBar. The staff are very friendly and personable. Courtney is a Rock Star! Even though the menu is small, food and service are spectacular as is the view from the restaurant bar. Across the road you can see the Space needle and the museum of pop culture. The chicken wings were crispy, hot and juicy, delicious. The buffalo sauce had a nice medium heat. In previous reviews I had mentioned staying in hotels outside of the cities, but this hotel in particular totally vacates that sentiment for me in that the staff and environment of this location just make it work well. I would stay here again even with the additional parking charge. We are surprised that being in this part of a big city, we are doing really well at this location.

Located within easy walking distance of the Seattle Center (site of the Space Needle and Climate Pledge Arena), the Hyatt House Seattle/Downtown is a roomy and comfortable place to stay when in the Seattle area. My wife and I used a Hyatt free night certificate for our one night (it is considered a Category 4 so the cert applied), and found the upgraded room and staff to be just right. This Hyatt House opened in 2014, and most of the facilities were modern (except one of the two elevators was broken during our stay, making elevator waits longer than normal). We checked in about an hour before the normal 4 pm check-in time, and got upgraded to a 1 bedroom King for the night. The living room had a kitchenette (electric cooktop, sink, dishwasher, microwave, and mini fridge) with plates and utensils. It also had a small desk with a real chair, a closet, small flat screen TV, and a sectional sofa. The adjoining bedroom had a King bed, similar flat screen TV (with a lot of basic cable channels) and an average bathroom with large walk-in glass shower. Like many other non-luxury hotels these days, housekeeping is done at the end of the stay unless specifically requested. In the morning, went down to the complementary breakfast. The dining space is huge, with plenty of open seating. The buffet was OK, with a few hot items and many more cold items. I did appreciate the ability to make your own breakfast burrito (always a plus for me when salsa is offered for breakfast). We could have stayed until 14:00 (which was offered without me even asking), but needed to leave a lot earlier to arrive at the airport with plenty of time to spare (it's about a 1:15 trip if taking the train, costing $7 total for each person). Checkout was via the Hyatt app which worked well, and the subsequent email confirmed that the visit had cost me nada.

Yes and yes again. It's right across from the space needle . I'm not familiar with the area , it was easy for us to travel around . The space needle . The ghiluly glass museum was quite a thrill. The hotel is neatly adorned with, my room had a view of the needle . It was large and cozy. I got the studio. It was big enough - very large actually. A big king bed a sitting area and a place to cook if I needed to .. for a longer stay . Breakfast downstairs was good with plant if seating . The staff was really nice .. and I mean that. Very helpful and accommodating. The elevator , one of them was in the fritz. It was a little delay getting up and down . That was my only issue . Seattle is freaking cold . Cold cold. It's not a joke - we went for the Seattle Rams game and once the sun went down it was 20 degrees. My room was nice and warm and had a great view.. I will be back. Btw. 15 minute to the stadium by Uber . 25 min to the SeaTac airport - so yes .. I will stay there again when I come back ... winning one stay at a time

Great little Hyatt hotel that's super close to walking to all the tourist attactions. The parking is what's crazy pricey, in that it's $50 if you want to pay right inside the garage next to it... if you are willing to walk a few blocks it's only $30. Inside the room suites are pretty nice but we were placed right next to the monorail. Which is still relatively quiet, but when we had the windows open I think that we definitely caught eyes looking in at us - so had to keep the blinds shut the whole time. The bathroom is really large, lots of empty space on the side. I enjoyed the breakfast, was a lot nicer than other breakfast hotels. Also lots of places to sit and eat in the morning, but recommend going a little bit earlier so you're not waiting in line.

Pros: Great breakfast, nice rooms for larger groups with almost full kitchen, large lobby, nice complimentary toiletries. Clean and safe space in a very convenient area. Cons: low/no flexibility on check in/out times. Busy/slow elevators (only two and no separate service elevator). Someone's breakfast plates were left by the elevator and not cleaned up within the 5 hours before we left. Bit of a sassy evening concierge when I noted that we did not get the text to let us know that room was ready for check in.

This was a very well cleaned hotel stay something I am very picky about. I always check over hotel beds and Hyatt House did a great job making a clean and crispy bed. The location is wonderful and perfect for visiting the Space Needle. It's right across the street and visible from inside and outside of the hotel. Which means it's also located near the monorail. The staff were nice, greeted us daily, checked us in quickly and were polite and professional. The downside is the parking situation. We had to pay for off site parking as the Hyatt parking was full and offsite. Breakfast was good and nice to see switched up daily. My hope is that they consider adding ingredient lists or allergy labels to foods served. Overall it was a nice and comfortable stay.

Easy as one, two, three to seven. First great location. (Based on room and $). Located right next to the Space Needle. Just drop your luggage in your room and walk across the street. You can get a beautiful view on the 8th floor patio of the hotel. I took a picture of it while it was all lite up in blue. Pictures enclosed. Second. Depending on which side your hotel room is facing, you can still see the Space Needle. We stayed in room 206 so we faced a bus stop. Luckily the rooms come with black out pull down shades. Better than some other guest. It seems a couple of rooms will get a great view of the city's light rail system tracks. Third, the parking garage is tight. So a larger vehicle say a Wagoneer or F150 can get it there but it's tight turns. Fourth, breakfast area is large and nicely supplied. It's the standard hot meal of scrambled eggs, a starch, and protein. Of course, there's cereal, bread (three toasters), oatmeal, and fruit. At night a fully equipped bar. Fifth, the hotel store is next to the front desk. I didn't see a price list which is why I got two energy drinks for $17. You can walk to 7-11 about a block away. Just walk down the unlit street and past the couple of people passed out in their parking lot. Sixth, these elevators are terrible. All two of them. We stayed on the second floor and found out the stairwell ends up in the garage. Seven. Overall three stars. The rooms are nice depending on what side you're facing. The towels are rated sand grit number 5. And our bathroom barn door latch didn't work. Positive note, you can chill out on the 8th deck and ask the front desk to light the fire pit or use the grills to BBQ.

Space Needle from our room

Great location! Right across from the Space Needle and with a rooftop terrace too. The windows are well insulated, we didn't really hear much noise from outside. They got us a room facing the Space Needle for my wife's birthday also. The best part was that it's Category 3 still so we were able to use our Hyatt Free Nights

Another great stay! I love the location, I can be anywhere in the city and know exactly where home is. It is literally located across the street from the Space Needle and Seattle Center, it's in a great central location and there is a lot to see within walking distance. The lobby is large and spacious. The included hot breakfast is at the first floor restaurant . There are many sofas to relax in or wait for deliveries. They have a small snack area for purchases, but it's a bit expensive. The service is great and the check in process is easy. I have always received great service. Rooms are very spacious! My most recent stay was in a King Studio with a living room, full kitchen (everything included: plates, utensils, pots, pans, glasses, etc.), comfortable bed and large bathroom. I could totally live here! Seattle can have it's good and bad areas, I feel safe here on my trips. I also LOVE the rooftop lounge - fire pits and GREAT view of the Space Needle - awesome! Definitely recommended!

I recently spent a night at this hotel while getting ready to embark on our cruise ship. I really enjoyed my stay here as the room itself was nice and spacious. The breakfast was plenty as well although it did get pretty busy with fellow cruisers. This place is perfectly located in the heart of Seattle. It's right in front of the Space needle and the Chuhily Gardens. Would definitely recommend for anyone coming here with families.

Loved my stay at Hyatt House! This was right across the street from the gorgeous Chihuly Gardens and Glass and the Space Needle. I love how spacious their suite rooms are, they even had a 24/7 gym and a spacious rooftop wi to fire pits. The staff were very accommodating and helpful too. Their self serve breakfast bar was nice too, plenty of options and lobby seating for everyone. Highly recommend this place!

Gorgeous new place on the block!!…read more Stunning new event space right in south lake union/ downtown with sweeping lake union views. Views alone were worth a trip or 4!! Came for the opening of this shiny new spot yesterday. A gorgeous 3,000 square foot event space that was completely remodeled: with in house catering, vendors, event planners, photo booths, musician! And the food. It was like going to a super fun wedding minus the formality of it. The owner was there as well: super passionate and shared the story of how she bought this space sight unseen: took a long process in turning this into a gorgeous space that it is now. It was super cool! And the food!! They allow outside catering too but the in-house catering: Kaspar catering : baos topped with micro greens and mint. Steamed to serve! Poke rolls :delicious! Panna cotta : in a cup! Lisa Dupar catering: this one was fantastic as I've had a chance to taste their food in the past at a wedding. The gorgeous cupcakes, macarons, molasses cookies and stunning cake. All were so pretty! Mark ryan wine! I mean, what's not to love as it's one of the wineries I frequent in Woodinville wine country. My pup baci's favorite too. Luxe Photo Booth: this one was so fun! The 360 Photo Booth!! I've seen them in Time Squares recently as well as at a valentines event. But this one was so much more fun as I didn't have to wait in line or fight the crowd for it. The person that was running it was super friendly and helpful too. The jazz musician was pretty rad too. And they had valet!! Butler Valet: All the friendly guys in uniform waiting for you as you arrived during rush hour in downtown: pretty darn cool. All events should be this cool. I'm only going to events with valet from now on! Ok thanks. Overall, this was such a fun place.I came to check out the space: left with all the food and fun.The space, the team, the design, the music!! And that Photo Booth: all are essential part of throwing an epic event. All events should be this fun!! I guess they will be if you throw them here: weddings, birthdays, corporate events, sweet 16th. I wouldn't mind coming here for a photoshoot: hello contents!!Or just a fun anything event.Did I mention the views?? Ahh the possibilities!!!

We had the chance to photograph a summer wedding there, and I was absolutely blown away by the space, the staff, and the overall experience. The couple we worked with had gotten engaged in Paris and wanted their wedding to reflect that romantic, European flair. The Ruins, with its opulent, maximalist style and stunning hand-painted ballroom, was the perfect fit. Every room felt like stepping into a different storybook, and the attention to detail in the decor made for the most magical, photo-ready moments. Their guests were wow'd at every turn--it was truly an experience, not just an event. From a vendor perspective, the staff couldn't have been better. Friendly, helpful, and incredibly accommodating. The on-site coordinator, Ruby, is a total gem! Even when a few minor hiccups popped up (as they always do), she handled everything with grace and efficiency, keeping the day running smoothly and stress-free for everyone involved. If you're a couple looking for a unique, visually rich venue that feels intimate, whimsical, and timeless all at once--The Ruins is it. He made some useful recommendations as to where I should have my tables and accommodated all of my guests upon entry. During the day of my event, David, who was one of the VIP hosts was so generous to connect with me and allowed me to be first to enter the main floor upon opening. David and my servers, Natalie and Blossom were so respectful and kind - they truly helped make my special celebration a memorable one. I'm so happy to see the successes and growth of Vue since they've opened in 2018. Their security team was also very kind!
