Amazing pasta. Batali has brought some of the best pasta available to us. Fabulous and we'll worth the $. Remember to sauce your pasta.

Hy-vee is Fabulous for Dry Cleaning. Seriously they have the best Dry Cleaning in town. They have a great selections of beers and spirits. They are a bit more expensive compared to your other grocery chains but also a little cleaner. The Meat department is iffy. They have no options for Pork that are not filled with solutions to extend shelf life. The Beef is the most expensive in town and not justified with quality or prime. I have found the last few years to walk through the meat dept and leave frustrated and disappointed. The produce options are usually hit and miss. They do have some good pasta selections and I really like the dry cleaning. As far as Supermarkets go they are on the upper end of the major supermarkets.

This HyVee is not my regular store, but it is a go-to when I am in the area and have a need. When Dad was in the nearby Methodist Hospital, I came here for flowers for him and some snacks for those of us sitting by his bed for many long hours. And I'm back again for something needed as we're headed elsewhere. It's easy to get here off Dodge, and the selection and layout are familiar and ample. The staff is mostly friendly, the same as I've come to expect from any HyVee. Just a word of caution, though: the neighborhood is fine during the day, but as a single, small female, I do not feel comfortably safe at night.

$4.25 for ONE slice if ham, One slice of turkey, One piece of cold rubbery bacon, all on a stale pice of bread. Step it up a bit Hi-V, I expected better. I realize it's 4$, but this was a sad effort at something they call a deli sandwich. Flavorless, dry, boring. It's nothing more than fuel for the bod, and that is being generous. I'll stick with the Pizza Pasta bar from now on.

I bought two of these one goes in the freezer

So, it sounds like some of the people reviewing this Hy-Vee lately are major Karens who just want to complain about petty stuff.

I would like to complement your associate at 50th & Center St. I know her only be the name "Madi"…read more I have seen her at the store but this was the first time she was my shopper. I want someone to know that she is super and excellent in customer service. She has always been willing to help me any way she can and I feel she is a valuable associate for Family Fare. She would probably say that she was only doing her job. May be true, but she does it in an outstanding manner. I cannot complement her enough to let her know how much I appreciate her attention to detail and her outstanding customer service.

This has become my favorite grocery store. It's not the closest Family Fare to our house, but we…read moreopt to go to this one for a few reasons. First, it's never crowded and we go on weekends. What a difference it makes to be able to glide through the aisles without people pushing and shoving past you. Second, it's clean. The carts are nice (no rickety wheels here) and there are a good amount of smaller ones that come in handy for those quick trips. Plus, they don't clog up the aisles either. Finally, I LOVE the self check lanes. They aren't all clustered together and there are two sizes. The small ones for those in and out stops and my personal favorite, the larger ones with a belt length like a regular check out lane. If you're a crazy organized bagger like me, you will greatly appreciate these lanes. My husband probably does too because our self bagging process has improved immensely since discovering this, which means I'm not nagging him to bag better or get out of my way. Definitely make sure you have the customer card because those discounts do add up - I've had as much as $14 of savings in one trip. You also earn cents off the gallon at Quik Trip. Another reviewer mentioned the Direct Your Dollars program which I hadn't investigated yet, but I will now. I'd say you should shop here but I don't want to it become crowded like all the other stores. Maybe I shouldn't have written this review. Hmmm.

I haven't been to the Omaha Whole Foods in a long time, maybe one to two years. It's not a super…read moreconvenient location and it's not very close to my home, so I mostly come when I need to get the odd ingredient. I stopped by today in particular to get apples because I forgot to grab them during my normal grocery run and I happened to be nearby. The first thing I noticed was the exterior building. It doesn't look like it's been updated or that well kept up since it was constructed. It looks like the building has aged, and that big sign on a post looks dated as well. The interior was not dirty, but also looked dated and could definitely use a refresh. Businesses in the Regency area tend to look fancier and better well kept up, so I'd like to see this Whole Foods get a little TLC. I just feel like the vibe is off a little from what I would expect. I also expected to see a wider variety of apples. I guess to me Whole Foods means lots of organic and natural items as well as a broader selection than what you might find at conventional grocery store like Hy-Vee. But that really wasn't the case. Other than having lots of organic options, the specific types of apples weren't that unique or exciting. When it came time to check out, there was not a single open register with a human being. They only had self check out open, which is not my immediate preference.

Upon entering I saw the computerized shopping carts with scanners and decided to give it a try. Once I figured out how to scan my ID into the cart, it worked perfectly. I found a 23 pound fresh turkey and had no problems scanning it into the cart. Also found some nice stuffing mix and chicken broth and scanned them into the cart too. Was looking for a specific type of beer and asked the person in the beer cooler about it. He said they didn't have it but recommended a nice alternative. Checkout was extremely easy using the cart once I figured out which lane I had to go through to trigger the final checkout. I'm a tech geek so enjoyed the whole shopping experience and the ambiance of the store. Was cool that the digital receipt showed up in my Amazon account. Prices were higher than I would normally pay, even for organic labeled food, but Whole Foods was the only place I could with organic labeled fresh whole turkey. The turkey and stuffing were delicious, so I consider it worth the cost. I'll probably be back next year for another turkey.
