-Freshest herbs you can find in NE and for only $1-$2 a bunch, better than the Asian Market even -freshest small cucumbers I've seen in NE besides maybe summer farmer's market -bread was fresh and affordable, $2.99, $3.99, $4.99 options-- for big size bread bags -owner/employee was friendly, informative and helpful when I had questions -I would definitely recommend this grocery store and will be going back read more

This store is small but mighty! They had everything I need and some stuff I didn't even know I needed.

Owner was so helpful and friendly. It was fun combing through the store. I was making Mediterranean recipes and we laughed together at me carrying in my cookbook! read more

I called ahead asking if they sold Baklava. The owner answered and told me they had premade and uncooked. When I arrived at the store, the owner helped me locate the items. I bought the premade Baklava and also found some tasty looking tea. I will return again. read more

Randomly passed by and decided to stop in. We got some feta (really creamy and would get it again) and 2 different types of bread (one more pita like and the other thinner like a crepe thickness). I'd like to come back and explore a bit more and see what other cool treats they have. read more

Pretty decent selection, considering we're in Nebraska. Parking can be challenging if you go on the weekends. I'll definitely go back when it's green plum season next year. Gonna try and catch green almond season too! read more

Seemed to have everything I needed in 1 spot for middle eastern or Mediterranean cooking. Love this place!

It's a great little mom and pop store which caters to all middle eastern goods. They have a good selection of pita bread, various types of cheese and to my surprise they carry 3types of baklava trays. Prices are reasonable and the service is outstandin. read more

A good friend, well let me rethink that title as he stuffs me with spicy beef sausage and full cream feta from this grocery store when I'm trying to diet, told me about this market. Last month I threw a party with middle eastern food and found amazing ingredients here! The owner was very nice and helpful...he showed me how to make baba ganoush and hummus so I didn't have to worry about lumps from a food processor (they have canned blended chick peas to mix w olive oil, lemon and tahini and jars of roasted eggplant)!!! Give the cheese in the coolers a try....it's amazing and affordable! I will never buy feta from a regular grocery store again. That dried up, tasteless feta we know of in our Greek salads and on the olive bars in Whole Foods is NOT what the middle easterners are eating. We've been tricked! The feta HERE is made of double cream and melts in yo mouf. Trust. Buy. Eat. read more

Wow, what a gem in Omaha! Fresh groceries, all kinds of great fresh products. Very nice owner and employees who were very helpful. Fresh fruits and vegetables. Great prices. Must visit! read more

I mentioned this place in another review, thought I should review it directly. There's no point in belaboring the issue, though. Just go. read more

It's been a few years since I wrote the initial review, so thought it was time for an update. Popped in after work to collect a few things for my Mediterranean themed dinner party buffet. As was expected, I walked in for two nonperishable items and walked out with bags full of groceries. Ever friendly, I was offered a bottle of water while browsing the small shop. What's that fruit on a branch? Dates? OK...I guess I will try one. What's that purple looking fruit in the box? Sugar plums? OK...I guess I will try one of those too. Don't be afraid to ask questions and the store owner will be happy to not only explain and help select the foods, but provide you with a sample as well. Fresh herbs are in the cooler, so you need to ask for them. But oh boy, the mint, the basil, the cilantro and the parsley are super fresh, lush and oh-so-affordable. Seriously, if you need assistance with the "what do I do with this" or "I'm looking for this" because it's a hot Mediterranean like summer day inspired meal, go to there! read more

As said before, this is a gem in Omaha. I absolutely love this place. Great place with a great selection of Hookah tobacco.

What an awesome store!! I love trying new foods and this place and the prices did not disappoint. I didn't realize they'd have so much good produce. read more

I was looking around Omaha for some fresh Kalamata olives & the only source I could find before I found this place was WF & they wanted $10.00/lb. MEG had about 2lbs. for $6.99 & the owner Rada who is Lebanese, insisted I try one before I bought them & as it turned out, they are GREAT! This is a great find if you're into cooking & eating ME food. The store may be a bit small but it's packed to the brim with everything you might want or need! Not only that but it's very clean which some other places I shop at aren't! Also the prices are very reasonable! Great spot that I highly recommend!! Wish they would open a Lebanese restaurant on par with one of my fav places in Chicago, The Pita Inn!! read more

This store has just the middle eastern food items we need - especially filo dough and grape leaves. The owner is very helpful and put us in touch with an Egyptian lady who did a cooking demonstration for our spice store. Recommend this store highly. read more

From Koosa and stuffed grape leaves to the best cheeses and spices and much much more.. Even when you don't feel like cooking on a Friday night, I can run in and buy the best fresh pita bread and some great cheeses and yogurt spreads for a perfect light supper:) We are so blessed in Omaha to have a store with such friendly owners that always help you find exactly what you need. This store is absolutely perfect! Huge selection of everything you need or want. Been coming here ever since my wife and I moved to omaha almost 5 years ago. The owner is one of the nicest people on this planet and will help you find whatever you need. I can't say enough about the owner or this store. Both are perfect. read more

An excellent store. I love how they feed you : ) When you are not sure of something such as fruit, they will cut and give you a sample. I like the odd looking cactus fruit (a super food) that is has a resonable price. And if you ask, you can get free advice on how to prepare what you are cooking. The store is wonderful, the produce is always fresh, they have a large assortment of teas and spices, and I enjoy shopping in a specialized food store where it's easy to find hard to find items. I enjoy going there. It has a welcoming atmosphere and I enjoy trying out new and exotic foods. Yes, they accept credit and debit cards. Not sure if the accept checks because I seldom use them. read more

this is the best grocery in Omaha, prices are good, you can find everything you need, and the owner is honest, thank you

I was in today and found the gentleman who assisted me to be quite helpful. He was able to provide me with ideas on what to buy based on my needs. He even went so far as to suggest that one of the items I was looking for could be purchased at a local grocery store at a lower price than he offered! I am very pleased and will return often. I often choose specialty stores and was so glad I found this one! read more

I just visited this store. The owner is why I will return. He was very helpful. I bought spices, sampled a fresh date and bought ingredients for gyros. Indeed a jewel in Omaha! read more

I love this store and the owner is the reason I have become a regular. He is a very honest and generous man and is very knowledgeable on all the products. He is very helpful and kind, and he allows you to sample some goods before buying. I love the owner and his wife, and I can't wait to cook up the shoulder of lamb (or was it a leg ??) for the holiday. I love everything about the store including the customers. I usually find what I need most every time I shop, and then I find items I'd never think of buying to try. They have a great assortment of olives, cheese's and dairy products, teas and spices, prayer rugs (I've bought many in the past and gave them out as gifts), I've also gotten quite good using eggplant, tomato, fava bean and grape leaves into my diet. The store has great hours and I appreciate his convenient hours made available to his customers. Woohoo, I personally give the store ten stars : ) read more
