I made tooo much hummus! It was delicious!

A good friend, well let me rethink that title as he stuffs me with spicy beef sausage and full cream feta from this grocery store when I'm trying to diet, told me about this market. Last month I threw a party with middle eastern food and found amazing ingredients here! The owner was very nice and helpful...he showed me how to make baba ganoush and hummus so I didn't have to worry about lumps from a food processor (they have canned blended chick peas to mix w olive oil, lemon and tahini and jars of roasted eggplant)!!! Give the cheese in the coolers a try....it's amazing and affordable! I will never buy feta from a regular grocery store again. That dried up, tasteless feta we know of in our Greek salads and on the olive bars in Whole Foods is NOT what the middle easterners are eating. We've been tricked! The feta HERE is made of double cream and melts in yo mouf. Trust. Buy. Eat.

As said before, this is a gem in Omaha. I absolutely love this place. Great place with a great selection of Hookah tobacco.

This store has just the middle eastern food items we need - especially filo dough and grape leaves.

I would like to complement your associate at 50th & Center St. I know her only be the name "Madi"…read more I have seen her at the store but this was the first time she was my shopper. I want someone to know that she is super and excellent in customer service. She has always been willing to help me any way she can and I feel she is a valuable associate for Family Fare. She would probably say that she was only doing her job. May be true, but she does it in an outstanding manner. I cannot complement her enough to let her know how much I appreciate her attention to detail and her outstanding customer service.

This has become my favorite grocery store. It's not the closest Family Fare to our house, but we…read moreopt to go to this one for a few reasons. First, it's never crowded and we go on weekends. What a difference it makes to be able to glide through the aisles without people pushing and shoving past you. Second, it's clean. The carts are nice (no rickety wheels here) and there are a good amount of smaller ones that come in handy for those quick trips. Plus, they don't clog up the aisles either. Finally, I LOVE the self check lanes. They aren't all clustered together and there are two sizes. The small ones for those in and out stops and my personal favorite, the larger ones with a belt length like a regular check out lane. If you're a crazy organized bagger like me, you will greatly appreciate these lanes. My husband probably does too because our self bagging process has improved immensely since discovering this, which means I'm not nagging him to bag better or get out of my way. Definitely make sure you have the customer card because those discounts do add up - I've had as much as $14 of savings in one trip. You also earn cents off the gallon at Quik Trip. Another reviewer mentioned the Direct Your Dollars program which I hadn't investigated yet, but I will now. I'd say you should shop here but I don't want to it become crowded like all the other stores. Maybe I shouldn't have written this review. Hmmm.

I haven't been to the Omaha Whole Foods in a long time, maybe one to two years. It's not a super…read moreconvenient location and it's not very close to my home, so I mostly come when I need to get the odd ingredient. I stopped by today in particular to get apples because I forgot to grab them during my normal grocery run and I happened to be nearby. The first thing I noticed was the exterior building. It doesn't look like it's been updated or that well kept up since it was constructed. It looks like the building has aged, and that big sign on a post looks dated as well. The interior was not dirty, but also looked dated and could definitely use a refresh. Businesses in the Regency area tend to look fancier and better well kept up, so I'd like to see this Whole Foods get a little TLC. I just feel like the vibe is off a little from what I would expect. I also expected to see a wider variety of apples. I guess to me Whole Foods means lots of organic and natural items as well as a broader selection than what you might find at conventional grocery store like Hy-Vee. But that really wasn't the case. Other than having lots of organic options, the specific types of apples weren't that unique or exciting. When it came time to check out, there was not a single open register with a human being. They only had self check out open, which is not my immediate preference.
