Amazing, professional, courteous customer service. The couple that live on sight are perfect for that job

Since it was 100 degrees outside, and we knew the units were not climate controlled, we wanted to go inside a unit to get a sense if the interior was cool enough for our oil paintings and furniture to survive. The lady was incredibly hostile to us and told us we were "problematic". We both felt we had to get away from this toxic woman. As we were leaving she yelled out "Fxxx You!" at us. Staff is extremely rude, condescending and argumentative. When called out on their rude business dealings they become even more argumentative and unwilling to take payments causing even more unnecessary delinquency. I asked to speak to someone else who wasn't so condescending and was not allowed to. Asked to speak with the owner, was told he would "call" me whenever. I 100% acknowledged my unit is 25 days past due and was hesitantly willing to pay the full amount due as it would cause me to fall short until pay day, after being given absolutely no other option due to their "policy". Due to me asking to speak to someone else the staff refused to take my payment causing even more unnecessary delinquent fees. 10/10 do not recommend using this company. They give zero leeway and have zero compassion for their customers. read more

Jerry the Manager has been so gracious to me. Always really pleasant and at times extra understanding. The prices are great for the sizes and they have great security if an alarm goes off they are right there in seconds. Everything is on High def cameras and there is someone onsiggt 24/7 The storages are not temperature controlled but It always seems cool in mine which is great! I really cannot recommend this place enough. I'm happy to drive the extra 10 mins from GV to store my things there because the cost and service is quality. Great local business. read more

I've have had an extremely uncomfortable experience at this business. I brought my 1967 Dodge Charger here and rented a 10x20 storage unit, paid for 4 months in advance. Upon putting my vehicle here I asked if they had any rodent issues. I was told they regularly exterminate and have never had issues. Upon returning I noticed rats/mice had chewed through my power steering hoses, battery cables and coolant reservoir. Upon informing Jerry of the issue, instead of coming to view my vehicle and storage unit he sent me a very disrespectful manipulative email telling me the rent will be increased 300% or I may leave. I have emailed him many times, called and requested a return phone call only to get short disrespectful emails back. I have rented houses storage units, apartments etc for many years, I have never had a single issue with any landlord ever. I am a very respectful tenant. I was not requesting any money or help for the damages I incurred, I simply wanted him to know of the issue. Now they are giving me 30 days to leave or face 300% rent increase. I'm beyond disappointed, disrespected and ashamed that Jerry and his owners choose to treat good customers like this. I'll will be exhausting every Avenue I can to report their business online, and to the better business bureau. This is not how to treat your customers. Before I wrote this review I Called and left multiple messages and begged for a return call to discuss this situation. They refused. Absolutely do not trust these guys with anything of value. Renters beware this is the most awful storage unit I have ever rented the manager Jerry almost let my ex into my storage unit multiple times the first time he said he would take my ex off my contact list and write a note that he's nit allowed in my unit a month later he almost let him in again after taking to jerry again he said again he would take him off my list then a few weeks go by on get locked in the storage place I asked his son why the code didn't work that I had until 10 pm he said he didn't k ow why and would let his dad jerry know I never heard anymore about it so figured it was something wrong with the gate opener so I go back a few days later and I get locked in again I called 5 times waited 40 mins didn't know what to do so I started looking at the gate for a Otto. Or some way to get out since no one was answering and it's been 40 min then jerry come running out yelling at me then contact my ex that he said he took off my contact list then get a letter that he's eviction for being there passed hours but I was never informed they changed hours and now I have my ex harassing me again cause since jerry called him he think it's his unit too now what a mess there's a lot better storage units in the area save your self the headache read more

Isn't movin & finding storage stressful? I have a lot of kudos for Hwy 20-Self Storage. Why? Secure. Clean. Professional. Moderately priced. And Jerry the affable site mgr. I had 2 units & nothing was weather damaged. No critters. And 6+ mos later this part of the move was easy beasy. Thank you! read more
