For me, the maple bacon eclair will change your life. The cinnamon buns are the size of your head and as light and fluffy as a cloud. Save room for dessert, the donuts are huge. If you're a donut lover, make sure you stop here. They have soooo many types of donuts to choose from. We got a 1/2 dozen so we could take some back. My son had the cotton candy donut and chocolate brownie donut, I had the strawberry filled and caramel apple, and my husband had Boston creme and cookies and creme. They are definitely super sweet and you'll like be in sugar coma afterwards. I wasn't a huge fan of the caramel apple but the strawberry filled one was good. They also have Kolaches but they didn't have any to get when we were there which was a little disappointing since I love those. My husband thought they were overpriced for a donut though. read more

I recently ate at Hurts Donuts on the strip in Branson,Missouri. The donuts are great tasting and have unique designs and flavors. The place has a gothic type setting about it and it isn't the cheapest place to go to. I'm not a fan of the gothic type décor and atmosphere. read more

Was on vacation saw the sign had to come try it. They have a wide variety of donuts not found in most donut shops. The donuts were fresh and tasted great. The customer service was fantastic wish I had more time to try more of the donuts. read more

We did get some balls that had jalapeños and a Sriracha glaze on top and my husband and friend said it was absolutely gross. This chain doesn't do GF, but Holey Rollers a short drive away does. So yesterday my wife and I ventured back to Hurts. My wife has issues with gluten and Hurts says it offers gluten free donuts. A little background a few months ago we were in Springfield MO and we had heard recommendations for Hurts having gluten free options. We drove 30 across Springfield only to be told, "Oh we only have those on weekends." So we thought OK we will try again. We live in Branson were there is a new Hurts location. Two days later was Sunday and we thought cool we will try again after church. That day we stood in line 45 minutes only to buy my wife 2-3 donuts. Yesterday, Sunday we went in about 4:45 pm. There was no line went to the counter full of donuts only to be told, "Oh, we only have this on Friday and Saturdays. REALLY, you should have been here yesterday. I like donuts and don't have issues with gluten. I've eaten these donuts - they are OK, but I've tried to buy these for my wife 3 times only to strike out 2 times. If you have issues with gluten don't count on Hurts for donuts. I won't. read more

They have a great selection of unique donuts you won't find anywhere else. We got a wide range of donuts that to be honest, can't even remember what most were called. Just that that they were very tasty. They have a good consistency, texture, flavor, and toppings. Or fillings. The only one that didn't quite live up to the hype was the apple fritter. If you have 15 minutes to stand around and wait for a donut then maybe it's worth it... I don't know Walked in at 10am on Monday morning to a line stretching across the building that didn't move for 5 minutes. It took 18 minutes of standing around before we got back to the car. Why treat your customers like that? Either put in another counter or just a couple of more registers and people to run them during your busy times. read more

Took my family here who were visiting from 10+ hours away. We got a half dozen plus one long John. The total came to $24. I told her that is not right and she said yes, when the half is $12.50 and tried to say the long John was $6, no it is $3 . Trying not to make a scene as she was insistent she was correct my mother paid. Hope you, the cashier, got yourself something really nice with the money you stole from my family. After reading reviews and seeing pics we knew we had to come and try an old fashioned apple fritter. It was huge. It was fried sweet dough, so it was good, but it wasn't a great apple fritter.
