It hurts me to know I purchased these less than decent donuts. We tried so hard to enjoy them because the flashy marketing lured us in and we were here for a sweet treat. The truth is...these were basic cakey dry donuts that are coated in disappointing sugary colorful icing. If this place was in a competitive doughnut tv show...they would be eliminated on the first episode. read more

The donuts were cool shapes and flavors. They tasted good. Honestly though it's a donut shop. Nothing too unusual or over the top. It wasn't worth the line to wait in and costs more than most places. read more

I think coming from California my expectations of a donut are a little different. I like my donuts to be fluffy and these were more cake like, which of course is still ok, but not what I was expecting. Still very delicious and satisfied the sweet tooth, but I will not be rushing back on our next visit to Branson. I will say though, there are many different options which makes it very fun! read more

Never found a donut I didn't like, but wow! These donuts are out of this world delicious! Fast, friendly service with to get you to your sugar high as quick as possible. The choice of donuts are creative; no standard fair here. From Oreo cookies to snickers; butterfinger to gummy worms, there seemed to be endless combinations to choose from. For me, the maple bacon eclair will change your life. The cinnamon buns are the size of your head and as light and fluffy as a cloud. Save room for dessert, the donuts are huge. Priced a little higher than your standard donuts, but these aren't your standard donut. Grab a few to share and see which is your favorite. As far as donut shops go, this one takes the cake! read more

I wish we lived closer to a hurts donut but when we are near one we always stop by there. They have very creative and good tasting donuts. The line wait was about 20 minutes and two people taking orders. There was plenty of seating and it was clean. read more

Absolutely amazing! The line was to the door but still only about a fifteen minute wait. I'm not a fan of cinnamon rolls but theirs are huge and the best I've ever tasted. Ask them to warm it a bit! Such a great selection of beautiful donuts. So good!! read more

If you're a donut lover, make sure you stop here. They have soooo many types of donuts to choose from. We got a 1/2 dozen so we could take some back. My son had the cotton candy donut and chocolate brownie donut, I had the strawberry filled and caramel apple, and my husband had Boston creme and cookies and creme. They are definitely super sweet and you'll like be in sugar coma afterwards. I wasn't a huge fan of the caramel apple but the strawberry filled one was good. They also have Kolaches but they didn't have any to get when we were there which was a little disappointing since I love those. My husband thought they were overpriced for a donut though. read more

I recently ate at Hurts Donuts on the strip in Branson,Missouri. The donuts are great tasting and have unique designs and flavors. The place has a gothic type setting about it and it isn't the cheapest place to go to. I'm not a fan of the gothic type décor and atmosphere. read more

SO GOOD!!! Lee does know his food. I tried their signature maple bacon donut. Super sweet but, VERY YUMMY.

Of the half dozen donuts we purchased, they were delicious banana, apple, candy bars, cookies, coconut, etc! They have so many more to try. Wasn't as impressed with the apple fritter.. it's way more bread and not enough apple. Be hungry when you come!! These are nice sized donuts read more

Wow. Donuts are huge, especially the Apple fritter. Nice inside area to enjoy the massive carbo load. It's a little pricey $10 for a fritter and a jelly donut but for a sweet splurge now and then, it's worth it. Also open 25 hours a day, 8 days a week. Fun place. read more

Good,But maybe less frosting on the mermaid, it was a little too sweet, and I don't say that much.Overall,it was very enjoyable! Thank you! read more

My family loves this place, especially my son. He gets so excited since there are so many options for donuts. We did get some balls that had jalapeños and a Sriracha glaze on top and my husband and friend said it was absolutely gross. This chain doesn't do GF, but Holey Rollers a short drive away does. Since it's a franchise every location is different. read more

Hurts doughnuts suck! They were not good at all and use pre cooked bacon

Great mad scientist designed donuts. The most unique offering of sweetness in a circle I've ever encountered. You have to get in here and try this place. I'm a donut aficionado and this place fulfilled my every dream. Great way to end our Branson quick trip! read more

Really clean,, and the donuts were fresh!!!!!!!! Good price for the donuts as well and the decoration was really good.

Great donut variety. Great seating. Cold kolaches! Strange to serve cold kolaches. Better dine in than Krispy Kreme which is down the road. They have better coffee as well. read more

So yesterday my wife and I ventured back to Hurts. My wife has issues with gluten and Hurts says it offers gluten free donuts. A little background a few months ago we were in Springfield MO and we had heard recommendations for Hurts having gluten free options. We drove 30 across Springfield only to be told, "Oh we only have those on weekends." So we thought OK we will try again. We live in Branson were there is a new Hurts location. Two days later was Sunday and we thought cool we will try again after church. That day we stood in line 45 minutes only to buy my wife 2-3 donuts. Yesterday, Sunday we went in about 4:45 pm. There was no line went to the counter full of donuts only to be told, "Oh, we only have this on Friday and Saturdays. REALLY, you should have been here yesterday. I like donuts and don't have issues with gluten. I've eaten these donuts - they are OK, but I've tried to buy these for my wife 3 times only to strike out 2 times. If you have issues with gluten don't count on Hurts for donuts. I won't. read more

Not sure it's worth all the hype. I'd rather have a fresh KK. The cake donuts are very dense and taste like they're day or two old donuts with just creative toppings and names. All in all I'd just as soon go to a cupcake place. read more

I love Donuts, but doesn't mean I'll eat just any Donut. If I'm going to accept the calorie intake, it better be good. And Hurts Donuts were worth just about every calorie. They have a great selection of unique donuts you won't find anywhere else. We got a wide range of donuts that to be honest, can't even remember what most were called. Just that that they were very tasty. They have a good consistency, texture, flavor, and toppings. Or fillings. The only one that didn't quite live up to the hype was the apple fritter. Typically one of my favorite donuts, this one was huge. Didn't even fit in the box. But sadly it was over cooked. Other than that, I'd consider this place an easy recommendation. read more

Cool spot to come and see while in Brandon. They kids loved it. Lots of unique and fun donuts. The cinnamon roll and apple fritter were good and huge. Overall I think they were too sweet. Like sugar on top of sugar but since the kids liked I would go back again. read more

Hurts Donut - Couldn't wait to get the photo. Had to dig in first! - Donuts Near Me - Branson, Missouri

If you have 15 minutes to stand around and wait for a donut then maybe it's worth it... I don't know Walked in at 10am on Monday morning to a line stretching across the building that didn't move for 5 minutes. It took 18 minutes of standing around before we got back to the car. Why treat your customers like that? Either put in another counter or just a couple of more registers and people to run them during your busy times. read more

Awesomeness! Never in my life have I seen boudain in a blanket. This place was awesome and my wife finally got to taste a pig in a blanket.

Took my family here who were visiting from 10+ hours away. We got a half dozen plus one long John. The total came to $24. I told her that is not right and she said yes, when the half is $12.50 and tried to say the long John was $6, no it is $3 . Trying not to make a scene as she was insistent she was correct my mother paid. Hope you, the cashier, got yourself something really nice with the money you stole from my family. Hope you not doing that to all visitors. Won't bring any more out of town friends or family your way. read more

We got a couple donuts and a kolache on our way out of Branson. Omg-it was delicious! They all looked so good but we settled on a cotton candy, apple pie and streusel donut. I think I could eat the apple pie donut everyday. The girl behind the counter was so helpful and so so sweet to our little girl. We will make this a staple to our Branson trips. I recommend trying this place. It's well worth the money! read more

No doubt some will say that Krispy Kreme's donuts taste better than Hurts Donut in Branson, and part of me agrees. But another part of me - the part that wants VARIETY and a spark of ORIGINALITY - says you can't beat Hurts! Yes, it is the "touristy thing to do," but you must understand: Hurts Donut started up the road in Springfield in 2013, and the locals made it famous long before the tourists got a taste! Hurts bills itself as a specialty doughnut shop - and they do specialize to be sure! But not in just one kind of warm, sweet, melt-in-your-mouth glazed doughnut! They do it all! They slather their moist cake doughnuts with cereals, candies, fruit, bacon - like I said: VARIETY! In short, if you want predictability, stick to Krispy Kreme. But if you want something new and tasty every time, you want Hurts! read more
