They actually cook the eggs instead of microwaving them like most donut shops and they provide a healthy portion of them. There are a variety of sandwiches here to choose from, even a vegetarian one! Wow, in Forsyth? WHOA I wish they had avacodo or spinach, but for this town you only have Subway as another healthy, good-service option. Coffee is good and they aren't afraid to make a new brew for you. Most places don't make it as long as these guys have in this town, so I hope they stick around. I think the majority of the town eats at the Sonic or Taco Bell, but I have recieved nothing but bad service from the Taco Bell and every other resturant in this town. read more

Cleverly disguised as a typical small town donut shop. I had been fasting and wanted to bring home a couple of treats to go with coffee... so I stopped in! All but plain glazed donuts were sold out. But they had a few interesting looking pastries! I was looking at the croissants and they looked great! I asked about these little puffy squares and was told that they were filled with Bavarian cream. I asked if they were good. In a deep bass the owner replied " no they're BAAAD!" somehow I knew that meant BAAAAD in a really GOOOOD way!!! So I bought the two croissants, one of the Bavarian cream puffs, one cinnamon roll and one cheese Danish! When I got home I showed my "not hungry" wife the croissants first. She immediately began tearing into them like a ravenous tiger with a fresh steak! I tried to stop her and save the croissants for sandwiches and I offered up the other pastries! It was a savage feeding frenzy!!! I can't even tell you... the sound effects were amazing... you'd have thought that she had been starved to the edge of death! Every single item was FANTASTIC! The food has been perfect each time we order and the coffee is made to your specifications. Yummy Donuts is a bright spot in Forsyth! Joe is so friendly and wants to make your food and drink just how you like it! I love their turkey and cranberry sandwich, and their pastries never disappoint. Their Reuben is also great too. Joe definitely knows what he's doing with coffee. His frappuccinos are out of this world, along with his chai lattes, macchiatos, iced coffees, and anything you ask him to make. His ice cream is very delicious, and he'll make a great milkshake from any flavor that you want. I love that he insists that you sit and enjoy your food and/or beverage after you order and then lets you pay later. I used to live in Forsyth and was here all the time, and now that I moved to Branson I make as many excuses as possible to come over here! Definitely try Yummy Donuts. My husband and I discovered this quaint little cafe as we were driving by one day and decided to go in and have breakfast. I had the biscuits and gravy very good especially with the Cajun seasoning I was provided. I talked my husband in to trying one of the cream cheese filled pretzels so that I could have a small bite (I'm diabetic). I couldn't believe how good it tasted and the pastry itself just melted in my mouth. We were so impressed we went back the next morning for breakfast again but this time I used a cheat day as I just couldn't resist those Yummy temptations. My husband again bought the pretzel but I went with the walnut roll and I was definitely not disappointed. It was "stuffed" full of walnuts and I don't know what the other ingredients were but it was so "delicious" and again the pastry just melted in my mouth. The owner said that it was his wife's recipe.
