From what I could tell, pretty laid-back eatery with good open space and an abundance of inside and outside seating. Great place to watch sports, too. Menu had lots of dinner entree selections such as ribs, nachos, burgers & wings, plus cocktails. Prices were reasonably fair. I wanted a dish with fish and some greens. Baja Bowl seemed like a great choice, but it normally comes with roasted pork. For $5 more, I got it with salmon. Fish was fresh and nicely charred, but a tad overcooked. Brown rice, charred corn, black beans, pico de gallo, and all the pickings made it a hearty choice. My daughter got the Full Rack of St. Louis-Style Ribs for $32.95. Half Rack of Ribs were $28.95. Why not get the full rack for $4 more? It's a no brainer. Glad we did because we had ribs for breakfast the next morning. She liked the ribs, but unfortunately, they weren't falling off the bones type ribs. This was my first time trying St. Louis-Style ribs. It wasn't bad. Though the rub was a bit vinegary for me. I normally don't drink, but I was being adventurous that night. Got a glass of Angry Bird Apple Cider for $6. Good cider, but wished it was a bit colder. Our server, Raj, was amazing. He was very attentive and showed much care in making sure our dining needs were met throughout the night. Thank you so much Raj for the above and beyond service! He answered my questions about the food, albeit with a soft voice for such a loud/busy location. He just lacked any welcoming spirit, and did not give any effort to sell the food. It's our first time at the location and I clearly was having trouble navigating their huge menu, but it was more of what do you want, yes/no. Food: Fried catfish 5/5: crispy, light, well seasoned. Definitely the highlight of the food we ordered Brisket 2.5/5: we ordered a pound, portion was good size, but overall it was pretty dry. With enough bbq sauce it was passable. Ribs 1/5: weakest point of the food. Dry, almost tasteless, chewy. Not sure if we just caught them at the end of the day because we went for dinner but the meats seemed old/dry. The ribs and brisket arrived maybe 5 minutes or less after we ordered it, which begs the question if it's freshness and quality which showed in the product taste. The catfish on the other hand took 10-15 minutes and came out hot and was clearly freshly fried , and again this translated to its quality. Service: the servers were fine. Polite, welcoming, helpful. Overall, the experience was disappointing. Earlier in the trip we visited gettin basted and it's clear why they won awards for their bbq. On top of that, the experience was much more welcoming and warm.

The drinks are self-serve but members of the staff asked if I'd like a refill and did the running for me. They even brought me a "to-go" cup when we finished our meal. It was very comfortable and quiet during our visit but with a full dining room it has the potential to be a bit noisier. With a live band, it could be more than a bit louder. Tips: Head to the back and browse the vendor booths on the way. Expect to make some compromise decisions. You can't eat everything at one visit. On the way out buy something and support a local vendor. The building's purpose to give local vendors a place to sell. No vendors will cause the grill's rent to skyrocket.
