Funny story...
We thought we were being smart to use Hunt's Pool to replace our in-ground pool liner a few years back. LOL.. NOT SO..
Our pool was originally designed and built by Anderson's Pool. Although expensive to maintain, it has served us well until we decided to use Hunt's save a little money on our last liner replacement.
For two seasons we fought issues with the liner coming out of the track and unidentified leaks that grew worse over time. Hunt's became very argumentative and hostile about the issues. We eventually paid another contractor to replace the liner lock (sized incorrectly). By then, the water loss was starting to get pretty bad. We are on well water and a salt system so the cost to was bearable rather than fight Hunt's to fix the issue.
At the end of 2018, the leaks had gotten so back we were adding six inches of water per day by mid summer. As the weather cooled we decided to allow the pool to leak down to a level we hoped would disclose where the leak was occurring. Within a week the pool was completely empty and it became obvious the leak was not in the liner. We assumed the issue was something had damaged the bottom return drain line.
Since we had no choice but to drain the pool, the liner was destroyed. We contacted Anderson Pools to replace the liner this year and get the pool back into service.
Anderson's informed us the reason the pool had leaked so much was because Hunt's did not bother to put a gasket around the bottom drain. REALLY... I KID YOU NOT.
We spent over $3000 to get this liner replaced and today are spending over $4000 to get it done right.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!! read more
