I absolutely love this place! The coconut chicken is incredible and the beef chamoru/beef tinatak is occasionally on the menu and my goodness it's incredible. I crave this place frequently! I have never really been exposed to the culture of Guam or Chamoru food, so I didn't know what to expect. I took a look at the menu and had a tough time deciding, but ultimately ordering the pork spare ribs plate. The meal was simple, about 6 ribs, rice and sauce. I tasted the sauce, but I couldn't place the ingredients, it tasted like a soy/worcestershire mixture. It wasn't too salty, but it did add a nice tanginess to the rice and ribs. When I saw the ribs, I was thinking they were going to be dry and chewy. I was very wrong. Although the ribs were not juicy, they were almost fall off the bone tender and were seasoned really well. The seasoning on the ribs didn't really require the sauce at all, but if you don't care to eat plain rice, the sauce will do it for you, I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and felt the ribs could be good competition for our local rib joints. read more

My husband has lived in Guam and has relatives that are amazing at cooking Guamanian/Chamorro food. I've learned how to cook some basic staple dishes, we were so excited to stumble upon this food truck at a roundup. The owner was super friendly and our order came up pretty fast. He was sold out of the chicken dishes which was fine cause we got to try this beef with string bean dish cooked in coconut milk which was excellent! I've never had that before, delicious. My husband had the pork ribs which were so tender and brings back memories especially with the finadene sauce! It was a cool round up - plenty of parking and a beautiful night to picnic at the park. We had never tried food from Guam before and wasn't sure what to order so we got three different plates. We tried the Kephua, Coconut and Chamoru chicken. They were all soooooo good! Definitely impressed with the all flavors, the temperature was perfect and the service was great. Brand new in Sierra Vista's mall, this place deserves praise for its food and service, and our thanks for coming to our town. I had my first meal from there, and I was overwhelmed: It smelled good in its carrying tray, looked good when the lid was lifted, and then tasted great! The young lady server was very helpful. She explained what on the menu was Guamanian, what was from the Philippines. She asked what we didn't like, so we wouldn't get something wrong for us. You'll pull up to this truck wondering either the chicken or the ribs. I'll tell you now don't beat around the bush. Drop that extra coin and get that Kepuha joint! Go DUMB, don't be dumb, get both meats. That chicken is perfectly marinated and the flavor is incredible. The ribs got that slight char and GODDAMN. But my fav was the chicken ceviche aka the kelaguen. It's a special taste you've never had. The nearest comparison is ceviche, but it's still very unique. ALSO, don't skimp on that "fenny-denny" sauce. Buy an extra pack of u need to because that rice without is good, but with it, NEXT LEVEL. Dope food, dope people. I went to the food truck gathering this evening, next to Lee's at Farm and Durango. I walked around to get the lay of the land. As I did my first pass, some guy outside of Hungry Kepuha told me he sampled the coconut chicken and it was outstanding. When the owner offered me a sample, I too tried the coconut chicken. I can see why it is a top seller! Don't think Margaritaville coconut deep fired food...this is waaaaay better. The chicken is cut into small pieces after being grilled to perfection. It is then coated in a sauce that is perfumed with coconut. The magic mixture is served over "red rice" (not Spanish or Mexican red rice!!! Yay!). It was outstanding,but I wanted meat-meat, so I ordered the ribs. The ribs were cooked well with crispy edges. They were seasoned and delicious without the sauce...add that soy based sauce though, as it takes the ribs up a level. Did I mention, there was no discernible fat on the ribs? The ribs were meaty, well done and delicious. They came over the "red rice", on which I put the extra sauce. There were 5 meaty ribs over a good sized serving of rice. I believe my order cost $11.00 and was a fair price given the quality and serving size. I am serious, these ribs are stupid good! If you see this truck with the wizard who cooks this magic food, don't even consider eating anywhere else! You'll thank me, I guarantee it! read more

Today Hungry Kepuha was the food truck for the Wheels for Warriors Motorcycle presentation at Atomic Motors... I've had Hawaiian and Polynesian food in the past and when I checked his menu online the Coconut Chicken sounded good... OMFG! It was amazing! My wife ordered some while I was busy and I only got a small part of her portion (which was HUGE) and good thing I did, it sold out! That didn't surprise me, what did surprise me was how good the Kimchee noodles were. They are glass noodles with a Kimchee flavored sauce on them. Again the portion size was enormous and the Kimchee flavor was awesome, perfect blend of spices giving it a bit of zip, but not too much kick and just enough fish sauce to give it a perfect linger... I am glad he had such large portions so I can eat it later tonight too... I am going to definitely be following when this food truck goes and go back for more! read more
