When the driver arrived I was told that they couldn't complete it because they never asked how I was paying, which was by credit card. Its called Hungry Howies because they will leave you on Hungry. Smh whatever you do, don't order delivery. they have no delivery service so they use doordash and it's more expensive. Haven't been here in quite a while but I'm assuming things have changed a lot with the recipe. The pizza was completely different but the part that is the most concerning is how the pizza was completely drenched in grease and how soggy it was. I picked it up right on time too (wasn't late). So either the recipe changed or I got a bad batch but I guess I'll never know because i won't be returning unfortunately. I placed an online order of a medium pizza, a small pizza, and a roll. I ordered at 2:01 and it was delivered at 3:12. I had to call the store and speak to someone, and he informed me the driver had left and should be there. He said he'd check on the driver and to call back in a few minutes. I've ordered from here 17 times, according to my reciept. I always order online with code LG799 for a Large 2 topping for 7.99. I almost always order the same thing, and it always exceeds my expectations. A large original crust with TRIPLE cheese. There is just an obscene amount of cheese on this thing. The cheese pull on it is the real deal. The pie is always just coming out of the oven when we get there. It's phenomenal. The cheese has a good flavor, too. You can tell it's real mozzarella cheese. It takes a while to master the art of crust flavors, but I've got my favorite narrowed down to Asiago Cajun Sesame. They don't charge extra for crust toppings, but be careful because you could end up with an over salted mess if you request too many seasonings. Customer Service is always on par and they always provide us with napkins and plates even though we are cheap and always use a coupon. Be warned, other Hungry Howie's seem to skimp on the triple cheese. This review is for the one on 83 rd Ave and thunderbird, only! Also, if you order triple cheese plus other toppings, it seems like you may lose some cheese on that deal. If you love a cheesy pizza, you will love love love this place! read more

I have been having dietary issues for some time and have found that gluten is what gets me! Pizza is one of my favorite splurge meals. Very upset with the new owners decision to charge .10 for each packet of cheese or crushed pepper. Is a dime really going to make or break you. I had a meeting and looked at my phone and they said they had no drivers. They will now reverse the charges but I won't see that for 24 hours. Hungry Howie's roots are the same as mine, and I grew up eating their wonderful pizzas. For some reason, out here in the west, the workers find you a little strange when you order more than one topping on your crust - which was actually the norm back home. You were weird if you only put one thing on! This location is decent, the drivers are very laid back, the staff all in all seem very friendly - their only issue, is that some of them did not know any better than to give us more than one topping for the crust. Some would say "uh, let me go ask the manager..." like it wouldn't work out! That's what Hungry Howie's is all about, I think that working there they would learn that first thing! This Hungry Howie's Pizza place does exactly what any other pizza place does. It delivers, and provides quality enough food. It's always been clean, and pretty quick service. I haven't had any problem with them. The one thing I do know though, is if you don't tell them you have a special coupon, or tell them you want their advertised deal, you won't get either. They won't share any deals with you that you get in the mail or on their pizza boxes they give back to you. You must already know about the deal and tell them about it to receive it. The website has no local deals, so the best way to get a deal is go to the place or receive something in the mail and tell them about it. TL;DR The food is decent. Delivery time is decent.
