So, I typically end up with the Gaucho which can beat aplenty of steak sandwiches I've had before. It's always packed with meat, really tender, but also flavorful you can tell a lot of care goes into the proteins they prepare also, they're using some high-end bread with it coming from Alon's. I mean, go there for any pastry and you'll see what I'm talking about.
Another staple item for myself when I go is the fisherman fries, the thick wedges are the perfect pair with a good sandwich opposed to some boring chips, and the fact they come with tartar sauce is really exciting to me. It's something you wouldn't expect to go with your potato companion, but it works with the old bay and the lemon delicious barely want to eat chips with my subs anymore having after that.
Also, for the first time I got a slush in my mind I was mentally prepared to enjoy the kiwi one, but what I got was a plum flavored one that in my mind was probably even better and fitting for Fall. It was so good. I've never had this combination as a frozen drink, but now I need it again and spiked so I know where to go.
Now, sadly, on this trip there was a bit of bad/disappointment which, of course, is not the norm for me here! We decided to try out the cold, cut sandwich, which seemed kind of like a play on an Italian and first and foremost that thing is wet. It was dripping and saucy. I'm assuming due to a vinegar which is standard for that type of sandwich but I didn't really find it enjoyable. Also, there was a small hair in it. My friend personally was willing to look past it and chow down, but me I could not so he braved it. Also, I have to say I had my most disappointing item here the French onion dip, and maybe that goes to show that I just don't like things that would be an accompaniment to chips either when I'm here, but I think it was just a bit strange to serve it with bread as the side the flavor was nice, but it's just not something. I think I'd be willing to try out again.I think the girl working the register also might've been a bit newer. She had a lot of difficulty explaining items to us on the menu which was OK, but just something to know; maybe go with some expectation of what you might enjoy.
Overall, like I said, I have a favorite I'll always go back for it, but might stick to that from now on for parking, it's limited in the direct area, but you could park in the Marta parking right next-door and it's a very short walk that's easy to traverse - fantastic way to walk a bit after a good meal!
