Visiting town for the weekend and just decided to stop in at Hull's Seafood and found a gem. Had the blackened grouper with rice and beans. Grouper was cooked to perfection. Prices were reasonable. Definitely will be coming back here again! read more

We were in Ormond Beach shopping and were getting hungry. Looking for places on here. We were driving home and pass d by Hull's seafood and Market. We d cid d tomato's after looking at the reviews. We walk in to the order counter. You place your order At the counter and get your food or at least son of you it before you find a place to sit. I got the seafood gumbo and a salad. My girlfriend got the grilled shrimp platter. Salad was good, dressing was good as well. Dunks come in the can and no fountain so no refills except for water. Our food comes out and looks amazing. The gumbo was flavorful and HOT with heat and it stayed that way till almost the end which I appreciated. The shrimp in my girlfriends meal were amazing. Cooked perfectly. Her hush puppies were so good. I was really amazed. Would I go back - absolutely without question. read more

This is our LAST visit to Hulls Seafood. We ordered soup that came in a very tiny bowl, I paid $2 extra for a small cup saucer plate of salad, my husband ordered Tuna that was cold and hard and his potatoes were so cold that the butter wouldn't even melt. Just finished a really fresh seafood meal consisting of spicy blue crab gumbo, which was loaded with crabmeat. The blackened grouper was an 8 oz portion and was moist and cook to perfection. Can't forget the hush puppies that were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Ask for Nicole she was an amazing waitress. read more

Visiting Daytona and this one is great food place. So good we went back twice during our visit.

This was the best seafood meal we had in the Daytona area. It has a local and old Florida vibe. The outdoor seating is comfortable, spacious and clean. The portions were expansive. My wife enjoyed her Sangria very much, she actually had two which never happens. I had the seafood platter fried. The breading was very light to my liking and the mix was excellent. My wife got broiled and it was equally good. The town is also lovely. We saved this for last on our list and it was definitely the best. Service as only fair to midland so it gets four stars. It definitely wasn't in the budget but we decided to splurge as we were craving seafood we have lived in this area for over five years and never been there so we thought we would check it out for the first time. Parking is a challenge we are not valet people so we had to park and walk quite a ways which wasn't a problem. We went to the front door and that was the wrong entrance so we kept walking around the building there wasn't a lot of directing of traffic if you didn't know when you were going but we figured it out. My husband ordered blackened salmon and I ordered broiled shrimp. Both were excessively over cooked dry and chewy. A waste of money and time, once and done. read more

Popular seafood restaurant in Ormond Beach which offers a wide variety of seafood as well some steak items. Specialty alcoholic drinks, beer, and wine are also available. Ample room to park if you get there prior to 5PM. Valet available but we found it to be too crowded and hectic. Service inside was quick and respectful. Our server was excellent and all of her food and drink suggestions were right on. Our surf and turf (filet steak with shrimp and potatoes) was delicious as was our clam chowder. We tried a rum drink called "Drunken Sailor" which was tasty. Inside and outside dining available. We will be returning but still avoid the valet. read more

We went to Hulls Seafood with my don, from NJ. He and my husband are( were) commercial fisherman. We ordered several apps, mussels , fish dip, and tuna. I would say we loved the mussels and fish dip, but the tuna looked ok, not great! Was expecting, from a fish market/restaurant, it would be great, not! My mom got fried shrimp basket, she said it was good, I got fried flounder basket, also good, but on their menu it says something about beer batter, nothing was beer battered. Oh well, it was still good. Hush puppies were good. My husband ordered the swordfish, it was a little dry. My son got the grouper, he said it was good. My daughter got the crab cakes, I have had better, but they were ok. We will definitely go back to Hulls. read more

Awesome seafood. On vacation with my daughter and three grandkids, had dinner here on a Monday night. They were packed, but that didn't effect our experience. Our wait wasn't long and the staff were all so friendly and pleasant. We ordered a variety of options a la carte from the menu and did it family style. We had peel & eat shrimp, mussels, scallops, hush puppies, ahi tuna, salads & soup. Everything was delicious. Kids especially loved the mussels, so we had to order more. Service was the best I've had in a while. Even Chris the valet was friendly and funny. I will definitely be back and will recommend Hulls to my friends. read more

We stopped in for lunch around 2:30 in the afternoon. The place was half empty. There is a young blonde girl that was working the hostess stand in the back who had a major attitude. She would not explain to us why we cannot sit outside, even though there were multiple empty tables. a very obese gentleman with a beard came up and had just as bad as an attitude. He was trying to tell us there's not enough servers. We said fine we'll sit inside. He then told us that we cannot be seated until the other people in our party arrived. We tried to explain that we were only waiting on two more people that were coming from Orlando and we weren't sure how long it would take for them to get there. They refuse to seat us even though the place was half empty. It is way too difficult to get food at this establishment. There's almost no parking and they have a ton of rules on just getting in to order. Don't ask any questions or else they'll throw a major attitude towards you. The young blonde girl that works the back hostess stand needs a major attitude adjustment. Take your money somewhere else. read more

Omg I cannot rave about this place enough. The service was incredible, the food AMAZING!..... Ok so I had fried clams that were outstanding. My girlfriend ordered the dozen steamed blue crabs. Let's just say the dozen was more like a dozen and a half or more. Our server Abram was very cool and super helpful. He made out with a great tip and this awesome review. We haven't been here in a couple years but we were in the area and decided to stop. They still have fabulous food. I had the oyster po'boy and my wife had the conch appetizer.
