I took the advice from many of you and finally tried Crabbers Daytona Beach for their seafood boil. I ordered the buy one get one free for my friend and I. It came with snow crabs, mussels, crawfish, shrimp, potatoes, and corn. I chose their signature Crabbers Sauce and asked for it hot. Our waitress, Nancy, was absolutely incredible. She was warm, friendly, and made us feel right at home. Her hospitality reminded me of being back home with family. When the food arrived, it came in two large bags served on a silver platters. The presentation was impressive. As soon as I opened the bag, the aroma of the Crabbers Sauce filled the air. It smelled so amazing I almost started tearing up with joy. I was worried the snow crab would be salty or dry, but it was the complete opposite. It was tender, juicy, and had a delicate sweetness that made every bite perfect. The mussels and crawfish were so freakin' good that I couldn't stop eating. I even took my bowl of rice and mixed it into that incredible Crabber Sauce because there was no way I was letting any of it go to waste. The crawfish tasted exceptionally fresh, and the shrimp were perfectly cooked. The corn was sweet, the potatoes were soft and tasty, and every bite was packed with flavor. By the end of the meal, I had sauce all over my hands, my face, and probably my shirt. I looked like a complete savage--and I didn't care one bit. There was so much food that I was ready to drink the remaining sauce straight from the bag. It reminded me of the seafood boil restaurant I used to frequent back in New Jersey, and I've finally found a place here that measures up. Their Crabber Sauce is easily one of the best I've ever had. The portions were extremely generous, the flavors were outstanding, and the service was top-notch. First off, let me preface this with I'm not a person who quickly leaves a bad review. Went in to Crabbers today for a late lunch. I ordered mild seasoning put on lightly! It comes out heavily seasoned and I could tell spicy by the color of the seasoning on the side of the steamer bag. I promptly told the server how I had ordered it she took it back to the cook and returned quite quickly. She reserved me the same dang meal! I figured " hey, I will try it " I don't want to waste seafood. It was too spicy and heavily seasoned for me. I told her it wasn't done as I had asked. She said well " next time you come in, order it with just butter". No offer to remake it, reduce the price NOTHING! I then alerted the " manager" he couldn't have cared less!!!!! They left me my bill for $47.39 . I paid it and told them I would never be back! I'm so disappointed!! I'm not a woman who looks for fault to gain freebies! First off the wait staff is excellent especially Nancy. She constantly checked on us to see if we needed anything and answered all of our questions. The young man who cleaned up the tables did so quickly and thoroughly. The hostess greeted us at the door and quickly seated us.My boyfriend and I split the BOGO with crab legs and shrimp. Crabbers is a new seafood joint in the Port Orange area. Their dining room is not the most spacious, but it's well lit and clean. All tables are accompanied by a roll of napkins (as one would absolutely need at an establishment such as this one), ketchup and gloves. I had a to go order so I cannot comment upon the silverware you receive in order to dine in, however I did see many other customers utilizing the tools needs to dig into the king and snow crabs! I placed my order at the front desk and the ladies working there had the best smiles and were very happy to help. They were accommodating and made sure you were taken care of. I got a seafood boil with medium Crabbers sauce accompanied by 1/2 pound clams, 1/2 snow crabs and 1/2 pound head on shrimp. I also got a sides combo for $11.95 that came with 1/2 pound sausages, 2 eggs, 3 corns and 3 potatoes. This entire bag was demolished in a matter of 30 minutes -- the flavor profile was intense and it was made beautifully. If you like spicy, I would recommend medium. Anything above medium will burn too much unless you're already used to lots of spice. You also have the choice of butter and garlic sauce which has no spice whatsoever. My food was delicious, the only downside was that all my shrimp were not deveined and I could not eat them. Shrimp head on was $8.95 and headless was $11.95. This was disappointing. I've added pictures of the menu so you can look at it yourself easily. All my food was $49.10. This was a reasonable amount for the food I ordered. Besides the shrimp not being prepped appropriately, I still think I want to come back. I probably just won't order the shrimp so I can avoid that. Where to start? How about with the staff? Everyone from Vica to Rachel to their manager, Annie, were on their game. They were all fun, friendly and professional. We started with a half dozen raw oysters ($11.99) and iced tea ($2.65), 6 chicken wings ($7.95) and a couple of FREE beers. That's right, FREE beer . The free beer was just part of their grand opening for a week or so (10/22 -11/12/25) but it added to the fun. Good bottled brews to choose from too. So, the oysters were good but the chicken wings were a bit on the small size. We enjoyed the seafood boil which came out in a bag, steaming hot with snow crab legs, shrimp, corn, potatoes... They have a nice selection of food, we did the BOGO with the crab legs and the shrimp for the BOGO it's a bit difficult to explain the BOGO ($37.95) but stop in and if you get Vica, Rachel or Annie we're sure they'll be happy to help you out. The customer service sucks! you come inside no one greets you until, there's no signs to tell you where to order or pick up food. The space is really small it's not your average restaurant space. They do have good prices though. The food was good could be better, I got medium spicy and my bf got the hottest and it was all mid. The food also had us on the toilet for two days so I don't think it set well with our stomachs. I wouldn't buy it again but it is worth trying if you love seafood. read more
