We have been passing Hula's for years, usually stopping at our regular food stops. We finally decided to try somewhere new- Hula's! We were not disappointed at all, Hula's is great! The little courtyard out front is a nice atmosphere, room for the dog to sit out of the way, and it hides the highway. The server was attentive and kind. He recommended the tri-tip sandwich, which was delicious! My daughter had a burger, also very good. The garlic fries are amazing, best we've had! We will be going to Hula's again. read more

Been here a few times NEVER disappoints me. I get the jalapeno burger which is always delicious the jalapenos are fresh and not pickled like on most jalapeno burgers which is a nice change. Garlic fries are good and sweet potato fries...yum! After your done...... u get a baby vanilla soft serve. Good stuff guys!!! Highly recommended!!! read more

Stoped in for a quick breakfast on the way to San Francisco.. so glad we did! Jill took care of us out on the covered patio where there is a cute water fall. Bacon and eggs, Spanish omelet and 2 breakfast burritos with avocado and jalapeños. It took a few minutes but EVERYTHING was amazing! Jill was super sweet. All I can say is get here! read more

I went to this restaurant for the first time on Sunday and I was blown away by the FANTASTIC customer service!!!!!!! The younger lady and the woman were both so sweet and did a great job working together. I love the design inside the restaurant and their menu as well. I have never left a Yelp review but joined Yelp just to leave a review for this restaurant. We just left Hula's and were beyond impressed!!! Being unfamiliar with the area, we stopped because of the signs along side the road. So happy we did. The owner herself helped us. We had our dog with us and she brought him a bowl of fresh water and a bone with a piece of bacon. We ordered the burger, egg sandwich, and chicken salad. The food was incredible! Their sign says Best Burger in the Valley and it definitely lived up to it!!! We also received free mimosas because it was Mother's Day and free mini sundaes at the end of the meal. We will definitely be back....not only for the food but also for the friendly service. :) read more

Terrible service. Stopped here tonight on my way home after a four hour drive with two hangry and cranky kids in the car. We were all starving. When we got home we realized half our order was missing. They forgot my sons entire meal. I called them and the girl on the phone confirmed that the kids meal was forgotten. She didn't apologize. Just asked if I was coming to get it. I said well yeah since I paid 25 dollars for a salad and kids meal... yes I'm coming to get it... (?) She didn't seem to care at all. I get when you're sixteen you have no idea what a pain something like this is. But some customer service training is a good idea and maybe a camera to see what their employees are actually focused on since I was at this time their only customer. They shouldn't have been dostacSo now I have to put my screaming baby back in the car and hope I can get back to Hulas from our home in Oakdale before they close. What a mess. Not okay at all. Changed my star to a 5 because the owner was so gracious. And the food is very good. Thank you for your great customer service. read more

Awesome food and service! We loved the zucchini, chili fries, onion rings, chicken fingers and the burger! My favorite was the chicken fingers with the most delicious bbq sauce. When we paid the bill we got a complimentary ice cream :) such a fun place and great experience. read more

Hulas has some of the best burgers in the Valley. This is a fun place and has free wifi too. The prices are good and the food better.

Had the hula burger and fries yesterday and the burger was great and the fries were perfect...the icing on the cake was the ice cream at the end that comes with the meal. It tastes great after a long day in the sierra's. I would recommend this to anyone who loves a great burger. read more

The burgers at Hula's here are delicious. One of the best burgers I've ever had. The milkshakes are so good too! There are so many shakes options. You can just tell one of the waitresses what u wanted to mix in. My kid loves a strawberry chocolate banana shake. Not a lot of places can make them. Also, the ice creams are a good size not like the wimpy kind at mcdonalds or Bk. Everything is worth it's price for the amount of food you get. The waitresses are very friendly too. This is the best All-American burger joint! Homemade burgers that are cooked perfectly. The kicker is when you eat in you get ice cream for dessert FREE! Locally owned and decorated to honor our local athletes and community interest. The staff is AMAZING! I have my favorite, Kristin, who has always a smile and knows me by name. This is definitely the place to stop for lunch or dinner if you're driving through town on way back from Yosemite. Boyfriend has been stopping here for years but yesterday was my first visit and I was pleasantly surprised. You pay about $8 per sandwich, burger, or hot dog, but the quality of the food and portion size make it worth it! He had a teriyaki burger (perfectly cooked, huge portion size) with side of fries that were great. I had a hot link that came on super soft French roll and the link was delicious. Side salad was fine. Dining inside and outside and service very friendly and they stopped by twice to make sure we were satisfied with our food. I will keep coming back here and highly recommend to anyone travelling through town! read more

I have been going to Hulas forever and it seems the service just keeps going down hill. I have never gotten my food in under 30 minutes and any time I order a milkshake from the drive through (a good but extremely over priced milkshake) I have had to wait at least 10 minutes for it. I've also had and instance where I ordered a meal from the drive through and the waitress rudely said that I should have called because now I'm waisting everyone's time. Overall they have okay good but I could go to McDonald and get something just as good but cheaper and much faster. I won't be going back anytime soon and I definitely wouldn't recommend it to anyone that I liked, maybe someone I hated though. read more
