As I was expecting ; Blas did an excellent job; the fence repair is like-new, the latch on the gate works perfectly, and Blas is simply a great guy to work with. We had all of our grass replaced, a brick step built by our pool, a wooden fence built around our pool equipment, some plants replaced and more. Brett has excellent attention to detail and showed us a gutter that drained around the foundation of our pool. His team rerouted it and saved us a future headache. I'm so thankful that we worked with the Austin Yard Guy and we love our yard! We'll definitely work with them again and cannot recommend them enough.

The communication, quality of work and simple pride in business practices is fairly non-existent. Brett had poor communication with our HOA manager and would only ever talk to 1 board member....who was also poor at representing our complex. When trying to deal with Brett more individually to come to some sort of agreement, emails were not returned. We finally stopped our contract with Brett as the majority of owners were extremely unhappy and at wits end with the poor quality and the result in a poor looking office park. We are a lot happier now and have beautiful grounds with a new and more professional group. Stay clear!

Not only do we continue to use their services to maintain our really big pecan trees, our neighbors have hired them as well. It is clear that they care about trees, provide quality care, and are not afraid to climb over 80 ft. trees. They also provide excellent personable service such as advice for an ailing tree with a recommendation for a specialist, and advice that shows that money is not their driver for work. It is care and concern for your trees. Trees in your landscape are invaluable.

We made the terrible error of hiring this company to trim some oak trees and one yaupon. The team…read moreleader took it upon himself to butcher our beautiful poolside fig tree that was producing many figs from its fully developed limbs covered in lovely green leaves. He sawed off most of the major limbs on the side that faces our house, which were covered with figs. Who would do such a thing? Even though the work order clearly did not include any work on our wonderful fig that has been pampered while it grew from a tiny tree, they have offered little as compensation. First lots of apologies, then an insulting credit for just over $300 to be used to replace the tree. Even if we could find an equal tree, labor and purchase price would be MUCH more, not to mention the stress and hassle. We are sick that we trusted such an unprofessional and dishonest company to work at our house. My wife continues to cry every day when she sees what is left of her treasured fig tree. This is unforgivable. Carefully consider other tree services before contacting Certified Tree Care. I wish we had been warned to avoid them!

Couldn't have been more pleased…read more A friend told me he had a similar-size tree removed and paid $3000 for removal and haul-off. I got three bids, $1850, $1800, and $1200, the last from ATT. Joshua sent me a copy of his liability insurance, and I called the insurer and they confirmed that it's current. I asked for Worker's Compensation insurance and he said he doesn't have it, but he'd be willing to sign a waiver. I wrote one up and he signed it. When I hired him on Friday he said they'd be there next week. On Wednesday he called and said they'd be there the next morning. The arrived at 7:45, but didn't start chainsaws until 8:00, respectful of the noise ordinance. The tree they removed was hanging over my house. I was worried about big chunks falling onto the roof, but that never happened. I watched the crew of five work for a while, they were clearly skilled, and tied the parts they were cutting with a rope so that they couldn't fall on the roof. Two hours to cut down a large tree with a double trunk, then another hour to get all the pieces loaded in the trailer. They then ran a leaf blower to clean up. Done by 11:15. I tipped each of the crew $20.
