They came out the same day I called to give me a quote, and four days later the work was done. Martin and his crew arrived on time, were friendly and professional, and took extra care around my landscaping and pergola. They checked in with me several times during the job to make sure everything looked the way I wanted. Every cut was sealed, they chipped all the branches onsite, and they left the yard clean when they finished. The trees look great, and the price was the best quote I received. I'll definitely be calling them again.

They trimmed the trees at my rental house earlier this week. Those trees had freeze and ice damage from the winter storms of a few years ago, and some limbs were extending over my neighbors' driveway. Areli (the owner) is very knowledgeable about trees and made recommendations about where and how much to trim. Martin and the crew did a great job on the trees and cleanup. I highly recommend Better Price Tree Service. They are on time, reliable and do the job at a fair price.

They come out about evert two weeks in the spring and early summer and less often in the winter as well as dormant times in the late dry summers. My only complaint has been their use of a weed eater to trim bushes. It spew bush material all over the house walls and windows. However, once I mentioned that, they changed their method, so I don't ding them for that. Overall, I consider them honest and reliable. I would recommend.

The recent rains had our weeds sprouting up like, well, you know, and being busy professionals ourselves, we just didn't have the time to keep up with it. The by-phone estimate for 43,560 square feet of yard was $100. Within 2 hours of our call, a team of 3 fully equipped lawn ninjas were relayed to our property. Due to the deplorable condition of our yard (lots of 2 foot high weeds - yikes- plus a huge hill to mow & weed-eat), the estimate grew to $175, which we were happy to pay to get the yard back under control. Within 90 minutes after *that*, our huge yard had been completely transformed: all grass cut to golf course specs, 200 ft concrete driveway edged, weed-eating done around 20+ trees and the pool fence, steep hillside trimmed perfectly, cuttings mulched back into the lawn. Holy cow! I am impressed. Your experience may vary, but we were lucky to call on the day for which ALM happened to be in our part of town, so we received same day service. What a relief to find a lawn service that is so prompt, thorough, and reliable. Our neighbors will be happy to know that we will now be on the regular biweekly rotation for ALM.

After calling for clarification, I was finally told that they would charge about $20 more per mow than our current company. They also want to charge $135 for the initial visit to "clean up" our yard - despite the fact that we've been maintaining our lawn and no clean up is necessary. No thanks! Update: the owner called me and was very concerned that I was upset. I explained that I was frustrated that I had to dig through 4 emails and make a phone call to get the quote that I asked for. He explained that since they provide full service lawn care (not just mowing) that his rep was just trying to offer their full range of services. I suggested that they make their quote process easier to understand. While I still don't think that their communication is great, it's obvious to me that the owner really cares about customer service.

Jeff arrived every couple of weeks and always did a fine job of cutting, edging, and sweeping up my lawn. Before long, Jeff hired a crew to work for him. On the rare occasions when I had to send an email to address an issue, LLC's response time was always swift and quickly resolved. He offered suggestions and ideas as well. I just wanted simple, low maintenance with rocks, and just enough grass for my dog. Their quote (with a large amount of rocks) was better than a quote with just grass and their sprinkler redo price was almost $1000 cheaper. They also completed the work while it was raining and had leftover grass that they laid in my neighbors yard (aside from the area we fixed bc the pool company destroyed their grass and sprinklers) at no extra charge. My grass never looked terribly patchy, so they must have high standards of what trash will lay and how they lay it. I highly recommend them.

My neighbor (who's fence I share and also half of the branch) also talked with us and agreed his trees needed the same treatment. A very reasonable cost was determined and Luis and his crew returned the next morning promptly at 8:30 and began working. The crew worked clean, safe, and sanitary. All health precautions for the trees were performed (equipment for the live oaks was sanitized), and the safety harnesses worn by the men in the trees provided a reassuring feeling watching these guys work.
