I am beyond impressed with this company. 10:30 pm 4/5/21 a boom happen in our upstairs bathroom and water started spraying out the wall and down the walls and out of a light switch and canned lights on the first floor. We jumped and the water was shut off in maybe max 1 minute. I sent a Yelp request at 11pm to Hudy and received a phone call at 7:15 am, which was before they were even open. They sent Clayton out first thing this am and he was here around 8:30. He was so knowledgeable, informed us every step of the way, and checked all our walls for water damage. He fixed our pipe and it even improved our water fill rate in the toilet. I was excepting to pay a large bill due to it being an emergency, but again I was pleasantly surprised with the bill. It was very reasonable for the urgency, labor and supplies involved. And look at that hole in the wall, small, and clean! We now are going to hire them to replace our hot water tanks. Isaac has come out and installed a wall-mounted bathroom sink, a johnson tee air gap and dishwasher plumbing in our kitchen remodel, a shutoff valve and pex water line to our fridge, and even helped us diagnose some water heater issues free of charge. Every single time he's come out he's been prompt, friendly, and done great work. We've never once had to call him back and he leaves the workspace cleaner than he finds it. Love, love, love Hudy Plumbing! What a team Isaac and Ralph (although I wish Zach was still a part of the team again as well). I think they are in Monroe now, not Redmond anymore. Have used Hudy, from the recommendation of our neighbors, for over 10 years now. They are hard working and experts in the field. It takes some time to get an appointment with them, sometimes up to two or three weeks, since they are so busy, but it's well worth the wait to have someone you trust. Isaac and Ralph did the re-piping of my old 1959 home. It needed it pretty bad. They did a great job and I'm thankful for all their hard work. read more

We found Hudy plumbing via neighbor recommendations and they've done several jobs for us since. We needed to replace three 21-year-old toilets and also to run a gas line out to the back patio. Both jobs were done well, on time and the staff are really professional and pleasant to deal with. I was also really amazed when I called them to diagnose a suspected problem in the downstairs bathroom, when they clearly established it wasn't a plumbing problem, they didn't charge for the visit. I gave Hudy Plumbing a call beginning of April to have them come by and give me quote for a gas line install for an outside BBQ. We set up an appointment for April 20 and Isaac plus a coworker showed up right on time. Isaac wrote up a quote right there and also had a look at my water heater to see if it needed to get flushed or not (at no-charge). The price I thought was fair and I scheduled the install with their office for May 3. The day before the office called me to tell me that Isaac's pipe cutter broke and that he ordered a new one. So they had to reschedule my appointment. They fit me in the following Monday, May 8. On the Friday before they called to tell me that they had to reschedule again as Isaac hurt himself and was out for the week. I talked to the office and initially they fitted me in for Thursday the following week, but then said they have to check on something with Isaac. They called me back the next day to ask if Saturday, May 20, works. I had to cancel another appointment to make it work, but sun was right around the corner and I was really looking forward to a BBQ on our new deck (that one got installed without a hitch). So Saturday morning it was for the install, at last! The day before I ordered a new Weber Grill (the natural gas version) from Lowes and scheduled the delivery for Saturday as well. I was really excited for the weekend! Isaac was scheduled to arrive around 9:00 AM. Around 11:00 AM I got the feeling that he might not show up. I called the office and got their answering machine; left a message telling them that Isaac was a no show and to please call me back on Monday to see what happened. At this point I was getting annoyed. To rub it in, the gas grill got delivered without a hitch and looked great. Monday morning goes by and no call from Hudy Plumbing. So I call them around lunch to find out what was going on. The office told that they cannot reach Isaac and that they will call me back once they hear from him. No call by 3:30 PM (their office closes at 4:00 PM). So I call them again. They tell me that Isaac is very busy, but will call me back today. The afternoon goes into the evening and no call from Isaac. I literally have no idea what is going on. The sun is out at full blast and I have that beautiful Weber grill staring at me ready to go. At this point I'm pissed. I fully understand that they had to reschedule more than once. Just bad luck. However to not show up and then not even have the courtesy to call me back the next work day is where they completely lost me. 2 days later they still have not called me back. read more

We have had Hudy Plumbing do a variety of plumbing jobs for us over the past year or so and this 5 star review is overdue. Our first call to them was because of a leaking hot water heater which obviously needed replacement. They were recommended to me by a neighbor. They responded very quickly and got a replacement installed as quickly as possible. Subsequently, they have installed new toilets, a garbage disposal and repaired some leaky drains. Today, Clayton and Edgar installed new faucet cartridges in our master bathroom as they were dripping. They did have to order those parts, so there was a short wait for installation, but it is well worth it for the quality of work. The entire staff from Ann in the office, to the plumbers, Isaac Hudy, Clayton and Edgar are very thorough and are a pleasure to work with. We have used other "big name" plumbers in the past and do not get the personal service from them that Hudy provides. Recommend highly. read more

Hired Hudy to fix the dripping in the bath and shower since the screws rusted over and didn't feel like buying the tools to do it myself since I'm disabled now. New fixtures were put in at $368, a bit high. The dripping continued. Called everyday for two months to call me back. No response. Finally, they answered the phone. Took 3 weeks for someone to come out. Told it it normal to drip. Three weeks later a different guy came and placed a seat in the bath only since he didn't have the parts. I had a enough and asked for a faucet replacement. Quoted over $2,000. I called bath fitters and they put in a bath liner and a Moen single lever faucet. The Shower still drips, so I called and was told the work was done over a year ago, so they would charge me again. I asked you guys didn't do it right the first time, but they didn't care. read more

Kudos to Hudy Plumbing and Isaac Hudy. Had a pipe clog under the slab from the kitchen to the drain field. I made a gallant but somewhat futile effort to clear it myself wasting a day and a half that I should have been working on stripping wallpaper, painting and laying tile in the livingroom (getting it ready for new furniture). Decided to stay local and called a local plumber. Isaac was professional, reasonably priced and a Seahawk fan to boot. Will be my first call should I ever need a plumber again. Hudy does great work at a fair price. They show up on time, are very personable and easy to talk to. I appreciate having a local company with good people who I can rely on to take care of my plumbing needs. I emailed Hudy plumbing about installing a whole house water filter that I had purchased online. Hudy responded that same day, and asked to come out at 10am the following day to insepct the site and give an accurate quote. They showed up on time and gave me a solid quote that was competitive with the other quotes I had received. They came out a few days later and installed the filter which works flawlessly with no leaks. One of the best parts about the installation was that they took some sub-standard valves and fittings that came with the filter and advised me to upgrade these to allow the system to function better and be easier to change filters. So honest and friendly! I had a leaky toilet and called Hudy to fix it. When the plumber assessed the problem he determined it was a very simple fix. Rather than charge me a huge fee to do it himself, he explained how I can do it in 5 mins with a $2.00 part from Home Depot. I just completed the repair and saved myself $160. Overpriced, poor workmanship, and dishonest... I had a leaking main shutoff valve replaced a while back by these guys, and while they were on site I asked about frost free hose bibs being installed since I was new to Washington and I'd heard about people pipes freezing up and causing huge leaks. The guy they sent out took one look at the one on the house, told me that the one I had wasn't one of the frost free units and offered to replace it as he had a few in the truck, so I figured why not. The unit installed longer than the original which left is protruding from the house so they just slapped on a couple of ugly spacers behind it and smeared a bit of caulking on it... not only that, but another plumber I had come out to quote a different job took one look at the work done and the old hose bib(which I saved) and was nice enough to let me know that I had been scammed as the old unit was already the frost free type. I chose Hudy because they had good reviews, and to be fair they did an OK job on the main shutoff valve replacement, but the overall experience left such a bad taste in my mouth I'll likely never do business with them again. read more

Hudy Plumbing has been great! We recently bought a house here in Monroe, and have had two separate plumbing issues. The first was fairly urgent - a leak which began to ruin our downstairs ceiling. I called a few different plumbers, none could get to us that day. Then I called Hudy, who could have a man out to our house within a couple hours. Isaac Hudy (the son in a father/son business, it seems) arrived on time. He was proactive, pleasant, and professional. He knew the neighborhood well, having worked in a few houses nearby. So he had a great sense of situational awareness; he knew a lot about how the original construction plumbers had (and had not) done their jobs. He quickly located and fixed the problem, at a reasonable price. This left a hole in our ceiling - the next day they sent their handyman, Ralph, to patch the hole. Ralph was also on time, and he did an impressive job. He did need to come back the next day complete the job, because patching walls requires drying time. Once it was sanded, it looked great. At a later date I asked Hudy to replace some piping in the house. Isaac came back and quoted the job price. I agreed and he began work the next day. There was a complication in getting access to the desired location, which ate up an extra 1.5 hours of Isaac's time. He did NOT add this to our bill, but stuck to his quoted price. He stayed positive and upbeat the whole time. In both cases, the folks from Hudy did quality work and cleaned up their messes. I hope I don't have any other plumbing issues. But if I do, I'll call Hudy. read more

Not reliable at all. Scheduled an appointment to have my hot water heater hooked up the day after I had an electrician rewire it. Called the day before to confirm appointment, received no call back, and the plumber was a no show on the day the work was supposed to be performed. Again, not even a call to explain why, so I called them and asked: response was' you are not in our appointment book'. Said they could come in 3 weeks to reconnect hot water heater. No thanks, called someone else; they came same day and got the work done. Mistakes can be made, but the fact that they would not even return my calls is rude and unprofessional. Avoid these people. read more
