Good beer selection. Best Caesar salad in the airport. Nice location close to the American Airlines and Delta gates. Servers are nice.

horrible, rude service! We asked to sit at a clearly empty table and tall bald dude (server) asked us to take our business elsewhere!

Stop in for a quick bite before a flight home. The burger was delicious. Service was quick and friendly!

Food was great, service was great, everything was great. Not too long of a wait for the food, presentation was nice, I did not manage to capture our hefty cast iron of poutine in time before we finished off the order. Looking forward to my next stop in, hopefully soon!

Tipsy Moose is a small and cozy tavern serving up comfort foods and drinks to go with it. Sit at…read morethe bar with all the barrels or the dining area with sports playing on TV, or out on their patio. There is limited parking on the premises but always parking on the street if you don't mind some walking. The slightly rustic, lodge type of interior matches the friendly vibes as well as the interesting drink selections, including a side menu filled with signature coffee whiskey cocktails! Their tipsy cocktails and beer menu is also quite attractive. My group and I were able to walk in on a weekend evening for dinner with no wait and while it was packed inside, it still felt roomy enough. However, the surrounding tables were rowdy and the noise was reverberating. Our server was attentive though she did admit it was busy and the wait time for orders would take a bit longer than usual. The menu has plenty of starters that are highly shareable, poutine, salads, soups, mac and cheese, burgers, pizzas, sandwiches, wraps, and quesadillas. Haven't had real poutine in ages so I decided to try their gravy fries with smoked cheese curds and added bacon. It was a good portion for the price ($15+) and came out hot on a cast iron skillet. The cheese curds weren't the type I expected and melted down too much, and did not have that squeaky cheese bite one would want in poutine. The gravy and the bacon worked well with the fries though! The smoked brisket French onion soup ($8+) was extremely hot when it first came out and I had to let it cool down before taking a spoonful. The cheese was so bubbly and delicious and the soup itself was flavorful (maybe a tad too salty), and had a balanced amount of onions and brisket. I would definitely get the soup again. Their barbecue pulled pork quesadilla ($15+) was also a bit too salty and meat was more tough than preferred. We also tried two of their mac and cheese selections, which came in a small cast iron pot each ($17+). The bacon chicken ranch mac and cheese was good but the jerk chicken mac and cheese was not as memorable (not much jerk flavor). Kudos for having a build-your-own mac and cheese option as well as a mac and cheese flight if you want to try more than one flavor. I'm glad to return to try other menu items at this tap and tavern and see what else catches my eye. While this visit wasn't spectacular, it also wasn't bad. The French onion soup is one thing I know I'd get over and over again. Oh, they also have a credit card transaction fee that you will see once you get the bill. Pay in cash if you mind said fee.

I was looking forward to a bowl of French Onion Soup, but it was a disappointment. 3 stars at best. --The onion slices were not soft from a long sauté and not browned from proper preparation. --The broth was bland, and the bread pieces were mush. I ordered the appetizer Pub Ribs, and they were praise worthy as always. My friend enjoyed them as well. Another friend got a serving to go to bring home to her husband. The small salads were good. Their balsamic dressing is tasty. The Pumpkin Soup was a hit. One friend got the Gobbler Sandwich. It was about seven inches tall. She was surprised. You certainly could not take a bite sandwich style. The height came from the large amount of lettuce on top of the turkey. Another enjoyed a very good Reuben and coleslaw. Service was good at first since we arrived right at opening. Later, server was busy with other tables. She refilled cups of coffee but not water glasses. Our table was bussed mid lunch to remove used plates. Big issue: Two stars for the ambiance. Six of us were seated at a large round table in one corner of the main dining room. After 30 minutes of customers filling most tables, the NOISE level in the room was terrible! We could not even hear the person seating across the table. So much for merry conversation...

Fresh warm rolls came and I ordered a side Caesar salad which was surprisingly big. It had lots of shaved Parmesan and fresh romaine lettuce and the Caesar dressing was really good. My friend got the side Mr. D's salad and it was huge. Lots of cranberries and mandarin oranges, cheddar cheese, almonds, and lots of fresh greens. It had garlic dressing. I wished I had ordered that! We ordered the crabcakes as an appetizer. It came with two nice sized crabcakes. They were meaty and tasty. I ordered the salmon and shrimp with rice. It may have been a special because I don't see it on their menu and I forget what the glaze or sauce was that was on it. It was a little overwhelming but I just took some off and it was actually very good. I think it was wine based. Two big fat shrimp and a nice piece of salmon cooked to perfection. The brussels sprouts were cooked and spiced just right. The rice was good too. Large portions of everything. I was here at a conference and I never think of stopping by here and just grabbing some bread pudding. I will have to keep that in mind!

We were seated right away at a nice table, and the waiter immediately came over to bring water and take drink orders. I have to say the service was excellent throughout. My husband ordered french onion soup and a burger with fries, and I ordered the lamb entree. My 2 lamb T-bones were cooked perfectly, and I was served with a generous amount of mashed potatoes, which were quite good and a side of cauliflower in a special sauce. My husband said the french onion soup was good, but a little salty. He reported that the burger was "okay" and not very juicy or flavorful. I liked the glass of wine I ordered. The ambiance was nice and it was quiet enough to be able to talk without raising our voices. I would definitely come back to this restaurant and try it again on the basis of the fact that my lamb dinner was so good with quite generous portions.

As of this review, Broken Loop has only been open about 1 month, and on a Friday evening, the parking lot was full, every table was full, and there was a steady turnover of folks coming in. Good for them!! But I'm not surprised. The folks working here have got it right. Of course we'll start with the beer. Just a couple of weeks ago, they were only showing 3 beers on their website. Last night they were up to 6, and their brewer told me they plan to get up to 12 on tap as soon as possible. My Golden Stout was interesting, the lightest and freshest stout I've ever had, with hints of caramel. My friend really enjoyed his hazy IPA, he said it's one of the best he's had. The food is equally good, and the menu is pretty extensive. We both got the chili, which was rich and full of flavor, with tortilla chips and thin slices of fresh jalapenos for texture and more flavor. Everything else we saw served to others looked equally good. And then there's the service here. I think every person behind the bar made an effort to speak to us at one point or another in the evening, including the woman who brought out our food. When was the last time they did that for you at one of the places I alluded to in my first sentence? But the best part is that Broken Loop is now the closest brewery to my house, and I'm pretty sure this is going to become a destination for me.

Our experience last night was much better service. We had Vicky as our server and she was a delight. So hardworking and caring. You can tell she pours her heart into her job. My major rave about BJ's this trip is the happy hour deals and deals of the week. We were thinking we were going to use a good sit down dinner and we ended up diving into "snacks". We just made it before the end of Happy Hour and we got some spinach artichoke dip and we both ordered personal pizzas. We also took advantage of the $5 wing specials on Wednesday. The spin dip was great but seemed to be missing something. Maybe some spice. The personal pizzas were a bit smaller than we were expecting, but for a $7 special you couldn't go wrong. I had the BJ's classic combo minus olives. It was delicious. The freshest toppings. The wings were a bit disappointing. Maybe because we're from Buffalo... but the dill pickle boneless really didn't have much flavor. The hot honey buffalo didn't seem to show any of those flavors. I almost wonder if they were the wrong flavor. But anyways, cheap deals, great waitress! I'll be back next time I'm passing through. We also loved that even though the place was packed, it wasn't loud! They have designed it well.
