I can absolutely see why Lynn's is rated so highly. I stopped in for lunch as my hotel room wasn't…read moreready, and I wanted to scope out a bar for NCAA games later in day. Found an on street spot right in front (this had to be pure luck as the street parking was full when I left). Immediately comfortable when I walked in, cheerful hello from bartender, the normal "whose this guy" quick glances from the two regulars at bar. But felt welcome right away (side note I was not wearing my BoSox hat...that may have helped).. Ambiance? Loads of tvs. Perfect for any sporting event..must have all the packages because there was a girls HS basketball tourney on. Food? Listen...if you can find a place with more side options for your blt then...well ...something something...I was gonna go house chips until like FIVE different side salads were rattled off. I went mozzarella salad. Magnificent (olives which I hate but that's not chefs fault) the dash of dill over plate was a great touch. I did a soup of the day as well (hearty beef and veg) a little heavy with salt/soy but not so bad I'd dock even half a star. Booze? Yes all of it. Normal selection you fancy arse. Wifi? Yuppp. So come in have lunch do some work watch a game and soak in the vibes. Side note..baseball draft was going on...saw a regular safely wearing BoSox gear...not for the faint of heart.

The place has a local bar feel, it is dark inside but plays good music if you can hear it over the voices. The food is tasty with the typical bar options of burgers and sandwiches. The service is attentive keeping the food and drinks coming.

Awesome local tavern with friendly staff and delicious eats!…read more I stopped in on a weekday for lunch and was immediately greeted by the bartender who was also the waitress for the whole place. Despite her being the only person up front, she warmly welcomed everyone and the service was great. I met a friend of mine who was craving wings so she ordered some hot wings and I got the Turkey Brie sandwich, which had turkey, brie cheese, apples and cranberry mayo on ciabatta bread with a side salad. The sandwich was delicious and piled high with turkey. My friend loved her wings too. Overall, the food was great as was the service. Definitely recommend!

I ordered this as takeout and just had to take a couple of bites in the car before going home to try it nice and warm. This kind of sandwich is hard to find. A special roll needs to be used for this called a kimmelweck roll. A kimmelweck (or kummelweck) roll is a crunchy, Kaiser-type bread roll topped with coarse salt and aromatic caraway seeds, primarily known for defining the Buffalo, New York, "beef on weck" sandwich. Originating from 19th-century German immigrant traditions, they are usually filled with roast beef and soaked in au jus. The sandwich was loaded with juicy flavorful roast beef. The bun had caraway seeds and coarse salt all over the top of it which complimented the beef deliciously. It also had a horseradish sauce on the sandwich, so good. It was served with tasty fries and two little cups of au jus. I would definitely order this again.
