What can you expect from Huddle House. Low quality and more. To go order wrong. Food greasy. Unpleasant staff.

First I'd like to say, we are local full-time residents of Bryson City. Not that this should make…read moreany difference but to some it may. Everett Street Diner is our most favorite place for breakfast - hands down. Hubby and I have tried many items, none have disappointed. Fresh, hot, correctly cooked, presentation, service, hospitality, coffee, atmosphere, and prices - all are spot on fabulous. The owner - Mr Everett Street Diner ALWAYS greets everyone with a smile and friendly conversation. Family oriented, he welcomes you in, sits you down and makes you feel like you're in his kitchen. If (more like when) you wait for your table, it's never long. The staff bust their butts and don't make you feel rushed at all. This morning we/the restaurant celebrated, as an entire group, the expected January arrival of a little girl, and three birthdays!!! And yes, we ALL sang happy birthday. Well, except for Mr Everett, apparently he doesn't sing and will tell ya so!! Seriously though, if you're looking for a good meal, friendly service, and a place you can't wait to come back to ..... try Everett Street Diner!! Oh, and if you're looking for a little heat and spice? You've GOTTA try their spicy diner relish!!! We're on our 4th jar and have gifted 3 jars out to friends, family and a great barkeeper in San Antonio (but that's a different story)! Love you all at Everett Street Diner!!!

This little diner is such a hidden spot in Cleveland! The atmosphere is small, cozy, and welcoming,…read moreand the breakfast was absolutely delicious. I decided to get the waffles that were topped with fresh bananas, blueberries, whipped cream, with a drizzle. What made the experience stand out, though, was the staff. They were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had a great experience. I would highly recommend a visit!

GPS took us right to it. Driving up, it doesn't look like much but looks can be deceiving. There is…read morea limited amount of parking along the side of building. The space is tight but at least it is all angled making getting into and out of the spaces much easier. I did not notice any handicapped spaces but the lot is small and paved so travel is pretty easy. There are several signs on the exterior wall cautioning to lock your vehicle as they are not responsible for stolen items but nothing appeared nefarious. Seating is a combination of booths and tables plus several stools along the counter to the right. We seated ourselves and the server came by quickly for our drink orders and dropped off the menu. The menu is pretty extensive with many options as well as the ability customize anything. We decided on the Cleveland special and the Western omelet. With a cup of coffee, this came to about $24. The food took about 10 minutes to arrive. The first thing noticed is the biscuits are huge. They are easily the size of a saucer. They are a bit crumbly but that makes them great for covering in gravy. The eggs were cooked as ordered, the gravy was very good, and the sausage appears to be locally sourced. The omelet was also huge and completely filled. The veggies were sautéed perfectly and made for a great meal. The service was just fine but could have been better. I had asked if the sausage was locally sourced and the waitress did not know. She never came back to let me know if she had an answer. I had to ask twice for a refill and eventually waved down a different server. We also needed to ask twice for jelly packets. While not terrible by any means, it was unusual for what we expect from these type local restaurants which seem to pride themselves on great service as well as great food. This little diner is a must stop for a great meal. Just have a little patience with the service and you'll be glad you came.

With a fine dining place like Home around, when combined with the Lowe's grocery store down the street - locals have absolutely 0 Zero need to go to into the city for anything. I've ate at plenty of Michelin star restaurants and this place gives all the signals of one in the making! Everything we ate was top notch and the menus had pleasant surprises around every corner! Service was attentive but not overbearing. The bar area was a great social gathering place while the main dining room was fantastic for both small groups and couples. The appetizer house bread is fantastic, the appetizer pizza was so good that it left us wanting more! I had the scallops (done to perfection which is tough to do) in pesto and local ellijay mushrooms and a side blackened prawn ($8). My wife had the filet which, even when well done, was fork cuttable. For desert we took home some cookies from their in house bakery. We also learned that they cater for Gibbs Gardens concerts down the road, which we are now excited for.

Our table was lovely and private, perfect for heartfelt conversation, and our server, Bailey, was cheerful as always and so accommodating. We started with mussels and the Caesar salad. Both were good, but I can't stop thinking about the buttery deliciousness of the mussels and broth. Honestly, the best I've ever had. My husband and I had the fish and chips: steel-head trout, lightly battered and fried with tartar sauce and malt vinegar. So good! Our daughter had the ribeye and it was out of this world. Perfectly cooked to medium rare, nice sear on the outside and a gorgeous red center. Easily the best steak my daughter and husband (couldn't resist a taste) had ever had. The garlic compound butter is a must-have. Perfect compliment to the steak. We foolishly ended with an incredibly decadent dessert and it, too, was amazing! A chocolate brownie with ice cream and rum sauce . . . We fought over it even though we were so full after the great dinner. We love Home. A wonderful relaxing dinner, a wonderful special occasion place, or a great place to try their take-out menu, we are so lucky to have Home so near our community. Service is always impeccable and the food meets most exacting standards.
