Ok Lets start by saying this isn't Bob Evans, CrackerBarrel, First Watch or anything fancy! This is a small town version of Waffle House. We read the reviews, weren't sure, but we were driving by it and just needed a simple breakfast and decided to try it. There were several other groups eating when we walked in and grabbed a booth. Yes - it was a little messy, but after being there for 30 mins, you see that they only had 3 people working the entire place on a Friday morning. We were quickly greeted by our waitress Tiffany and received menus and coffee. Tiffany was super friendly and hustled to get our order and deliver our food. We ordered their MVP and Big House Breakfasts. Both were cooked as ordered and provided eggs, bacon, biscuits and pancakes. We appreciated the simple fast stop and appreciated how hard the three ladies were working. After seeing how hard the team worked and we received exactly what we ordered, I believe they earned 4 stars based on exceeding expectations based on reviews and initial drive up presentation. Tiffany was a great waitress and it was great to see that many customers were repeat visitors including a few Vets that were enjoying time together. The last few times eating here it's been great. The food is been on the money and who would thought you get great ribeye from Huddle House cooked the way you want and with some eggs. Worse service ever. We sat down wait 10 mins before anyone even came to our table. We ordered our drinks "2 Pepsi and my husbands looked like it had chocolate milk on top of it. Server was rude as always. How they have a 94 for cleanliness I have no clue cause the place is so nasty. Do not go here!!! read more

My husband and I were in the area and stopped in to eat. The worst food I've ever had at a huddle house! Frozen strawberries on my waffle which in turn made the waffle cold, hash browns tasted like grease, eggs were runny, I ordered over med., my husbands waffle wasn't even cooked through, and the cook was wiping his nose with his hand and then cooking with that very same hand without washing his hands. We stopped in on our way to a distillery and hadn't ever been to one before. There was more seating than we expected and found a seat easily at 8 am, despite the number of customers already there. Our server helped us immediately, however, we needed extra time because the menu is much larger than we expected plus you can get anything all day - not just breakfast. Two people from my party had the stuffed hash browns, I had the breakfast platter with loaded hash browns, and my mom had the breakfast platter and a waffle. Everything was cooked perfectly and was truly delicious. The prices were great and the restaurant was very clean. It's like an improved Waffle House. So good! read more

Needed to be minus star. Worst experience in my entire 64 years of life! We were there 20 minutes before anyone waited on us. After 50 minutes and 2 apologies from the waitress still no food and ours was a simple order. The lead cook disappeared to the back room for 20 minutes leaving what appeared to be a trainee alone at the grill with not much food moving during that time. After an hour, I left a 5 spot on the table to cover the cost of our drinks and left wishing the waitress "Good Luck" on our way out. I can see if a place is slammed that it may take some time to get food there but it was not that busy at all. Needless to say, I'm all done with that place. We will never patronize them again. If you're hungry, Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else if you want food, otherwise you might just starve to death while youre waiting on your order!! read more

Absolutely love this place. The food is hot, fresh, and tastes great. I have tried several menu items and been very impressed with how great things taste. The workforce may change over the years but everyone is friendly. Even during the past months when things were very busy they worked so hard to always check on you. We came here on a Sunday morning, and snagged the last bug table in the back. The floor under our feet felt a bit greasy, but that helped my chair slide in and out easily...so I'm counting that as a win. The tables were clean, and our friends had coupons to use, so another win. They had a children's menu- which my kids ordered from (french toast). The kid's items are proportionally appropriate for toddlers. My ten-year-old received one slice of bread cut in half and one strip of bacon and his children's meal, looked at me and said "I should have ordered off the adult menu." Our waitress was friendly, and tried to be efficient. It looks like they were down one server and the girls were covering tables in different areas. The cook was apparently new this week? Most of the order was okay, but my aunt did not receive her food until everybody else had finished eating. It was just simply forgotten about. The portions were okay, not too big and not super skimpy. The hash browns or cooked until pletely crispy. I could not eat mine. There were no gluten-free certified Foods on this entire menu. I navigated the menu and chose an omelet with vegetables. It was pretty good, and I did not have any signs of reaction at the time. read more

Our family ordered five meals (pickup) for dinner this evenings, totaling over $70 with tip. My mother in law and I went to pick it up. When we returned home we realized we had been shorted the majority of one of the meals. My mother in law called in to report the missing items and ask for a replacement. She was spoken to very rudely by the person who answered the phone. This person told her that "we gave you everything you ordered, I don't know what you want me to do" and said she was "new" and didn't know if they could make it right or not. She then hung up on my mother in law. After trying to call back for over 15 minutes--I was finally able to get someone else to pick up the phone and agree to make the order that was missing (and paid for). This person told me that they heard the phone ringing, but had "customers to take care of." My mother in law drove back to the restaurant to retrieve the missing order, which was not ready when she arrived. The rest of us ate our food, which at this point was cold. When she got there no one even bothered to apologize for the missing order, rude treatment on the phone, or the inconvenience. I cannot believe that this is how a business treats the seniors in this community. Quite frankly, those working this evening should be ashamed read more
