We had a poor experience with the builders for our new bedframe. They installed the bed wrong and we had to undo half of the bed and fix it for them. There was also a missing piece of the frame that is not the builders fault but other parts of the bed were put together wrong. We specifically had difficulty with the wheels and after inspection we were able to see where the errors were made. It took up half of our afternoon fixing the job that we paid $100 more for to be done by professionals. There were minor damages on our bedframe because of trying to get the drawers to fit due to the wrong wheels being placed on the drawer. read more

This company provided delivery for a furniture order from Article and never made contact with me aside from the initial automated delivery scheduling email. They said they'd call when the driver is 30 minutes out from delivery; I did not receive a phone call, text or email. The large and heavy item was deposited at the bottom of my steps, when it could have at least been brought up the 3 steps to the porch given its weight. I still never received a confirmation of delivery notice even hours after it was dropped off. Did they deliver on time? Yes. But communication was non existent and I was home at the time of delivery so it would have been nice to be notified when they were coming to be ready and ask that that drop the item on the porch. read more

They delivered the wrong piece of furniture. They did not wear any shoe covering for their shoes and made our wood floor very dirty with shoe marks all over the room. They stepped on our rug with their shoes on. read more

This place is very unorganized unprofessional and there is zero contact from the drivers. I was told many times when I have called to find out why it is being delivered that the drivers are supposed to call that it is required. We are on 3rd delivery attempt for my refrigerator and 45 minutes befor the last delivery hour and no call from driver nothing. I will update my review. NSD people have jobs and taking off and an unreliable driver not calling and just rescheduling is very very infuriating. You guys NEED to do better! Drivers need to call. My place is hard to find i get that but the drivers NEED to call. NSD received the package on a Monday and by the next Monday it was delivered. I was given a time frame of 3pm - 7pm, they texted at 2:45 and said they were 15min away. They keep telling Amazon they "attempted delivery but couldn't get ahold of me" but that never happened. When I try to contact them a not tells me to leave my number so a delivery can be scheduled within 48 hours, but I'm never contacted. The delivery went well. The tracking system used to inform customers of the anticipated delivery time worked well. BUT. You must improve your call center. I called the day before and was put on hold for 12 minutes and never reached a person. I hung up. Then called back. Was told I could hang up and they would put my call in the queue and pick up when it was my turn. Never picked up. I called and left a message with my phone number with time sensitive infomration. I developed a medical condition that requires that I sleep upright. I ordered a sofa that would allow me to sleep at night. It's been at the local terminal for 17 days. I've talked to numerous people NSD. They all either promise that it will be here within 24 to 48 hours, or claim that they can't get a hold of the local terminal and have left a message. Effectively, this company is a black hole where your multi-thousand dollar items go to never be seen again. Crazily, Amazon pays them for this. read more

Things did not start off well at all. My window for delivery was from 9 AM to 1 PM. I was suppose to receive a call 30 minutes before they arrived with my delivery. At 12:35 PM, I called the company and explained that I had not received a call yet so meeting the window was highly unlikely. I was put on hold while the person said she would check into it. When she came back on the line, she blamed it on poor service in Clayton where the delivery ahead of mine was located. I finally received a text at 12:58 PM. They arrived at almost 2 PM. It took about 45 minutes to install. They two men were nice and helped me move a couple of items to another room, but after they left, I realized that the bed frame unit was not pushed against the baseboard, not centered, and was sitting crooked. I happened to be able to stay past 1 PM, but under most circumstances, I would have had to leave and reschedule the delivery. I am another victim of NSD. NSD rescheduled delivery 3 times. Finally, at time of delivery I observed two non English speaking delivery men walk on top of other customer orders to reach my 75" TV at the front / top of the load. One guy tossed my tv to the other causing it to impact the inside of the truck. Needless to say my screen was broken when I unboxed. NSD must be removed as a shipper for Amazon. Horrible. Placed an order with JCP on 2/17 that was to be delivered on 2/24. On 2/24, I was told it would be delivered on 3/5. Now it's 3/6, and after numerous calls and emails to JCP and many dropped calls and chats to this company, I've yet to receive my shipment and just confirmed that it will not be arriving today either. When we do receive help from a "live" person, we are told the issue is being escalated, and we'll receive a call when they are ready to schedule the delivery. What? Secondly, since I could not reach anyone, and your company sent a text that you were out for delivery, I had to reschedule my husband's Dr's. appointment. I ordered a vanity from Home Depot on September 18. It's now October 4 and after supposed delivery attempts and at least 15 phone calls I have still not received my order. You get nothing but recorded messages when you try to contact this company and when you finally get an option to speak to someone, they put you on hold and no one answers. Today., When I was told it would be delivered. I made sure someone was at the location the entire window that they gave me. No one ever showed up. Somebody called seven times within two minutes and when I called the number back they hung up on me. This is the worst shipping company I have ever dealt with. Update: the response from the company was immediate so I was impressed even though I was told it would arrive between 11 and three, and it really arrived after five. Everything is damaged, the top and the vanity itself are damaged beyond repair. The delivery people did not want to wait around for it to be inspected and said they would send somebody out the next day to return it (not true). We asked that it be brought in over the threshold, but they wanted to leave it outside on the ground. My husband and a friend finally talked them into bringing it inside the door. If I could give this company 0 stars I would. I received an email to schedule my delivery so I did which was easy to do. However, someone from the company called saying they would have a driver in my area the day before my scheduled delivery and asked if I wanted to change my delivery date, which I happily did. So I thought all was fine and dandy until I received an email that same day from Hub Group saying my delivery was set to be delivered that day from 6:45pm -10:45pm. Naturally, I was incredibly confused and thought it was odd to be delivering so late at night. I tried to give the company a call and use the chat but no one answered either form of communication because they were closed. The phone kept ringing and the chat box kept looking for a representative to talk to but at no time mentioned no one was there. Well, I surely didn't sit around waiting for these people to arrive on a day that I was not available and did not originally schedule for, luckily no one showed up. Moreover, the next day i woke up bright and early to try and contact the company once again. I opted for the live chat and was thoroughly disappointed. The woman I chatted with was useless and couldn't tell me why my delivery was scheduled the day before and that it shows on her end that my mattress was supposed to come on Wednesday which isn't even the day I had picked. I was beyond frustrated with her because she didn't give me any answers, didn't even apologize for my inconvenience and was not helpful in anyway. When it came to Monday morning when I was first told I would be getting my mattress delivered, I waited and was unsure about anyone coming but sure enough, I got an email with updates about a delivery window from Modern Logistics and could see how many stops were ahead of me and where the driver was at which was great. My mattress was delivered with great care by Modern Logistics, which I'm not sure if they are part of Hub Group Final Mile, but they were wonderful. If I had a choice I would never choose Hub Group for anything unless they fix their communication style and have more pleasant customer reps who are actually helpful.
