This is not our regular go-to Tealicious location but last Friday night since we were around the area after our errands at HEB, we decided to visit. We've been here several times before and I thought perhaps it was just an isolated incident. I let my emotions die down too that's why I waited this long. Just bought four drinks from our regular neighborhood Tealicious on Potranco near 1604 and just can't help finally posting this objective review. Back to the Tealicious by HEB Bandera experience, they are totally consistent...consistently providing a horrible customer service experience. The young lady in the cash register was simply impersonal, dull, and snobbish. Again, we thought this was isolated but on all those several instances we visited this location, we have exactly the same sub par customer service experience. This afternoon visit at Tealicious on Potranco, I asked the young lady if the owners are the same on both locations, she verified it not the same. The staff at the Bandera location needs to learn from these excellent staff members at Potranco. No matter what time of day, or day of the week and no matter who's tending the store, the customer service at Tealicious Potranco is consistently stellar. My experience this afternoon at Tealicious Potranco made me finally decide to post my unacceptable customer service experience at Tealicious Badera. Never ever again visiting Tealicious at Badera, we'll always be loyal to our neighborhood Tealicious at Potranco! The best in customer service, consistent at all times!

I went with a vanilla milk tea with strawberry popping boba and it was pretty good but not quite the same. I brought Bucky with me, too, and he was a popular little man. Apparently they have specials whenever the Spurs win a playoff game, hence the extra long lines that day. That's super cool that they support our team and show such local pride that way! Anyhoodle, instead of ordering a cortado and a signature latte, I decided to just order the peanut butter mocha with banana cold foam. What a dream. If you're into decadent coffee drinks that are more like desserts/treats, you need to try this version of a chunky monkey. As always, the staff are some of the nicest people you'll ever come across. They always put the perfect amount of Boba, which always makes for a really tasty drink. They have been consistent for the last years! And I admire that in a business for sure! Service 5 stars: After every visit here, I always felt very welcomed and appreciated as a customer. I've never had a bad experience. The staff was always super kind and they worked really quickly to get the drinks out. I've never waited more than five minutes. So nice and refreshing! Ambiance 5 stars: Inside is decorated nicely. They display their streets out front very cutely and the restaurant is always clean. I don't think I've ever even seen a speck of dust in there. It's honestly impeccable the kitchen always clean when they're making drinks and I've never had a problem with dirty tables or trash the space is really well and it makes for a happy time when drinking Boba. Overall 5 stars: Honestly I could recommend this place to everyone. Definitely a solid place and always a good time. Happy to visit anytime.

I was on the hunt for a cozy spot to read a few chapters when I stumbled across Medina River Coffee. Tucked away in a small shopping center, it's easy to overlook--but don't make that mistake. The vibe is dark and moody in the best way: cozy, calm, and perfect for settling in with a book or getting some work done. My favorite feature was the counter seating along the front window. I claimed a little corner seat where I could soak up some natural light, sip my coffee, and happily disappear into my book. Even with several people inside, it never felt noisy or distracting. The baristas were incredibly friendly and took the time to walk me through their menu and offer recommendations. I ended up ordering the Coco- Ro-Dachio iced latte (coconut, chocolate, and pistachio) and asked for it to be less sweet. They absolutely nailed it--it was smooth, balanced, and let all the flavors shine without tasting like dessert in a cup. I also loved seeing the variety of coffee beans for their different coffees. If you're into trying different coffees, you'll have plenty of options to explore. Prices were very reasonable, especially for the quality and size of the drink. The only minor downside is that parking can be a little tight since it's in a smaller shopping center. On the plus side, they're open until 8 p.m., which makes it a great option whether you're looking for a morning pick-me-up or an evening coffee break. If you're searching for a coffee shop with excellent drinks, friendly baristas, and a peaceful atmosphere to read, work, or simply unwind, Medina River Coffee is absolutely worth checking out.
