I had no idea we would be walking through actual slabs. Seemed super dangerous. Find out later, after visiting another place (without children), that most places make you sign a waiver. Not Y&Q they had no regard for our safety. I chalked that up to a bad experience and decided to give them a second chance. They were recommended by a friend. I call to see if we could actually set up an appointment. The lady who answered was super hard to understand and not helpful at all. She was super dismissive. They may be cheap, but they sure are not easy to work with.

The local and regional Tuff Shed staff were extremely helpful and professional, especially with getting a building permit from the City of Pittsburgh (anything over 10 x 12 needs a permit). Always a fast response for any question, and the finished product is as well made as promised. You may pay a little more for quality, but its absolutely worth it.

Our 25 year old kitchen was transformed into such a beautiful and modern space. Mindy really knows her stuff and will help you along the way with your plan. The installers were really top notch, were so precise and exacting with every measurement and they truly took pride in their craft. The trim work is beautiful. And they were really easy to be around which is important since you will be together for a couple weeks. Everyone who was in the house--cabinet installers, the plumber, the paint and plaster guys, the electrician--was really, really nice. There is so much to coordinate with the timing of a project like this and all the people who work behind the scenes like Bert, Dave and Bernie were extremely quick to respond to all of my calls and texts. I did have another expert in the house for something else and (though I didn't ask and he wasn't looking for work) he said there should have been one more coat of urethane brushed on by hand to really finish the job. Jacob SAID there were 3 coats applied, but because I wasn't allowed into the house while they were working, I have no way to check this. The problem arose when I wasn't offered a receipt upon paying for the work. I asked over and over, by email, phone and text, but It took 5 weeks and my final loss of patience to get a very poor email image of the receipt. I would probably not do business with this company again because of this.
