Gone are the days of the Brickhouse brewery. Now you have a super classy joint that resides right in Patchogue. A place that, I'm reminded by my husband every time we drive through, use to not be so classy. My sister requested that we have her baby shower here because she was such a fan of the food. And she was right. The food is fresh and delicious and featured in a very well thought out menu. Julien was a pleasure to work with during the preparations. Allowing access to the space during not busy times to help us plan our decorations. Day of it was all hands on deck. Julien, Anna and our amazing bartender with the handlebar mustache exceeded our expectations. The food was incredible. My sister had the best time and that's all that matters. The bartenders Marina and Joey were attentive, quick, and clearly very knowledgeable about the menu and drinks, which made everything smooth and enjoyable. However, one moment really stood out for the wrong reasons. A manager approached the bartenders and began yelling at them in front of guests. Even though it was off to the side, it was still very noticeable and uncomfortable to witness. Situations like that should be handled privately, either in the back or after a shift, but not in front of customers. It came across as unprofessional and honestly, disrespectful. As a guest, it affects the atmosphere and gives insight into how staff are treated, which matters. Aside from that incident, everything else about the experience was great.
