Decent, fast chinese food. Not a place you want to eat in at all, but it is great for take out, owner is friendly.

Gone are the days of the Brickhouse brewery. Now you have a super classy joint that resides right in Patchogue. A place that, I'm reminded by my husband every time we drive through, use to not be so classy. My sister requested that we have her baby shower here because she was such a fan of the food. And she was right. The food is fresh and delicious and featured in a very well thought out menu. Julien was a pleasure to work with during the preparations. Allowing access to the space during not busy times to help us plan our decorations. Day of it was all hands on deck. Julien, Anna and our amazing bartender with the handlebar mustache exceeded our expectations. The food was incredible. My sister had the best time and that's all that matters. And I have the State Room to thank for it. Posting few pics of the rooms before the guests arrives so you have an idea of the space :)

Wow, wow, WOW !!!…read more What a fabulous surprise! This was our 1st time and it was fantastic. The food was excellent, the server, Nicholas H, was friendly, efficient and made us feel welcome. My Biscuit Benedict was awesome, the Fried Pickles were great. The BLT and Chicken Sandwich were both very good. I'm not sure how many locations the have, but if they are all as good as West Sayville, I would highly recommend The Shed. Great job, keep it up and thank you !!!

An unforgettable birthday dinner--service and food were top tier!…read more I celebrated my birthday at The Shed and let me just say... this place exceeded every expectation. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was warm, lively, and inviting. But let's get into the FOOD--because wow. The chicken wings? Fried to absolute perfection. And I'm not even someone who usually eats chicken on the bone, but these were so good I couldn't stop. Crispy, flavorful, and done just right. The shrimp and chips were also perfection--fresh, seasoned beautifully, and cooked exactly how you want them. We tried the fried pickles (so good!) and I had the watermelon cocktail, which was refreshing, unique, and honestly one of the best drinks I've had in a while. Now let's talk dessert... because we went in. We shared the churro waffle topped with both gelato and ice cream and yes--we pigged out and enjoyed every second of it. No regrets. Zero. But what truly made the night unforgettable was our server, Brooke. She was AMAZING. Sweet, attentive, funny, and full of positive energy. She made us laugh, checked on us at all the right times, and genuinely made my birthday feel special. That kind of service is rare, and it didn't go unnoticed--we even called the manager over just to brag on her! Every single person at the table loved their food, loved the experience, and we all agreed: we'll definitely be back. If you go to The Shed, ask for Brooke--and tell her Apryl sent you

So 2026 did not come in hot for me. My little romances with Italian Mr. Big and my half-Italian…read moreAiden? Yeah... both fizzled. On top of that, my damn car decided to up and die, so I've been bleeding money on Ubers just to get to and from work. I even had to go into work on my day off just to sit around waiting for the tow truck so they could junk it. Love that for me. After I handled business with the junkers, I said eff it and headed to Whiskey Neat. I was starving--no breakfast, running on fumes--and since my job's in Patchogue, I figured I'd finally try them for lunch. First of all... happy hour on a Saturday from 12-6?! Uhhh hello?? In my Angelina from Jersey Shore voice. And if you pay cash, you get the discount. Say less. They've got a fabulous small plates menu. I started with the French onion soup--ooey gooey mozzarella, cheese pull was undefeated. Soup was delicious too. I haven't had French onion in ages and it really hit. Then I had the pulled pork slider, which was really good, but BABY... those short rib croquettes? To. Die. For. I also had to get my classic deviled eggs. A little heavy-handed on the paprika, but still solid. Drinks were half off, so of course I indulged. Started with an espresso martini because I needed something to jumpstart my day. Then I had a French martini because duh--I'm a French girl ‍. That one was good. Finished with my classic cosmo. Not gonna lie, I've had better, but it did what it needed to do and helped me forget my troubles for a couple hours. Also great playlist of music. I got there and they were playing Ska. Love me some Reel Big Fish and No Doubt. Mixed with some Motown and Bob Marley. Made me remember the good old days.

I've been to Main Street Patchogue a few times before and I'm always amazed at how it's now like Huntington, with tons of eateries, bars and places to hear live music. It was a busy late Spring Friday night and my cousin told me if we were there just two weeks later (ie, post Memorial Day), there would have been lines to get in anywhere. So make resos! I made one easily earlier that day and when we arrived around 7:30, it was not packed, but it is pretty loud in there even half full. Our waiter, Jonathan, expertly took such great care of us from start to finish, even taking my father's dad jokes in stride. There's a solid cocktail menu, but I had a couple glasses of a better-than-decent prosecco. My cousin loved his espresso martini. For food, count on a couple respectable vegan entrees and I went with the Japanese eggplant with cashew ricotta. The eggplant is delicious, slightly sweet with a creamy rather than chewy (thank god) texture. The cashew ricotta is also tasty, but I do think it needed to be blended a bit more to remove the slightly grainy texture (the cashews might have needed more soaking). My father loved his French onion soup and pastrami sandwich. Separate paragraph for the fries. They deserve it. I'm glad we ordered these to share- it's an enormous platter of them. I appreciated that they were salted perfectly. I appreciate restaurants that can make satisfy a variety of preferences and dietary restrictions. The vibe here is festive and vibrant and a great choice for groups and families.
