If you have to ask who made the better choice, you can stop reading. The hot lobster roll was just as excellent as it always is. I like that it is deconstructed so that a) the bun isn't soggy and b) I can put exactly the amount of butter I like on it. My kids love it here, and so do I. Service is tight, and the patio and deck areas overlooking the water are delightful in the summer. I've always liked the vibe here - great food in a casual and family-friendly atmosphere. High consistency is differentiated in a positive way.

I had the shrimp scampi, my wife had the white clam pasta, the kids had mozerella sticks and fries, and we had some steamed clams. Those steamed clams were big and looked promising. However, it was very salty and some clams were under cooked which gave it a weird texture. Ordering so many dishes and none of them stood out in a positive way. I wouldn't return here.

The Crab Cake was a hefty portion and a delicious start to the meal. Spicy, tomatoey olive oil was great with the Ciabatta. Lamb Chops were cooked to medium and the blackberry fig sauce complemented it nicely. The Sea Scallop was a very solid dish overall, no complaints! The Duck portion was massive and succulent, although it was definitely an ordeal to extract all the meat. Initially they said it would be around a 45 min wait but the manager(?) came out and moved a few incoming parties around to accommodate us, awesome service. Thus, we were seated soon after arrival. Add on from last week…read more We've been coming to Cucina for about five weeks now--call it a happy side effect of a local class--and somehow, they keep hitting the high notes like it's opening night every time. Tonight called for something simple, and the chicken and rice soup absolutely delivered--comforting, rich, and quietly flawless. It's the kind of place that proves no dish is too small or too humble to be executed with care and a little bit of pride. Add in friendly faces, genuinely cheerful service, and a little complimentary bread (always a power move), and you've got the perfect antidote to a cold, rainy East End night. Do yourself a favor--carve out the time, order whatever Italian craving you've got, and settle in. Cucina doesn't miss.

If you want pasta for your entree it'll be a separate order. Pepper flakes would be a nice add - they sent Parmesan cheese. Service : Delivery was fast. I can't speak to ambiance as I did not dine in. Chicken Marsala : Tender chicken with nice flavor. It's not your traditional Marsala filled with mushrooms or maybe it is traditional and I've never had it this way! Sautéed onions and tomato is in the sauce with very little mushrooms. It's very good. Fettuccine Bolognese : Good - could use some seasoning to enhance the flavor however it is good. The chopped carrots reminds me of Japanese mamas pasta sauce.

Not one bug, an entire swarm of them. If they serve drinks that look like that, imagine what's going on in the kitchen. I couldn't eat anything after seeing this. Zero apology from the server. Nothing comped. They also have no cocktail menu. The vibe is weird also, not a great atmosphere. Place had cheap decorations and ambiance. Getting grossed out just thinking about it. The pulled pork was just a mess, no flavor and wet(not juicy I mean wet). Beans were undercooked and really missed the spot, the brisket was grey genuinely the worst brisket I ever had. Cornbread reminded me of my middle school cafeteria, and not in a good way. Mac and cheese was the only decent thing on there but besides the food the staff was incredibly nice and food came out very quickly. Food was also very expensive which made no sense because for the quality and quantity there was barely any food. Would not recommended stopping here very overhyped for no reason. - Daquan out

Cabbage soup with bison is incredible and I don't even like cabbage. The beef burger and bison burger both taste really good and I do enjoy their steak fries when they are cooked properly. My biggest grape with this place is the service. I've never had a great waitress there. It's a small place and the service is never adequate. The last time we went there, they brought out my husband's food and forgot to put in my order. My food arrives 15 minutes later, overcooked. I sent my parents here for their anniversary year or so ago and their service was terrible as well.

The live piano, which I believe is on Fridays, was such a great touch and made the experience different than many of the other establishments in Riverhead. The food all around was very yummy. It was my first time trying bison and I really enjoyed it. It was leaner than beef yet still had so much flavor. The corn could have had a little more on it but I think it was just a bad piece.
