*showed up, but didn't do what they were supposed to
*tried selling us more parts than what was needed
*did not fix the problem with our printer
*created more problems with printer
Called this company because every time we'd try to print more than one page, our printer would jam. We were estimated 1 work hour to fix the problem ($155). Seemed reasonable as we use the printer often and a new one would cost about 3 times that price.
When the tech showed up, he fixed the paper jam alarm but tried to leave without fixing the underlying issue. Basically charging us $155 to fix a simple paper jam. We had to re-explain to him what he was supposedly sent out to do. After that, he actually figured out what part needed to be replaced. The problem is that he didn't have the part on him. We needed to get another estimate.
New estimate came in with more parts than what was needed to fix the issue (replacing parts for both trays instead of the 1 tray that was giving us problems). Once we agreed on what parts we needed to be replaced ($65) they had to come in AGAIN and charge us another hour ($155). We agreed to getting the repair done even though we shouldn't have. I should have cut my losses then. The tech showed up again and replaced the part that needed to be replaced, but this didn't fix our paper jamming issue. Paper was still getting jammed, and on top of that, now the machine won't stop trying to feed paper out (even when its not supposed to be printing). This time around, the tech told me that the machine is so old that its probably better to replace it since fixing one thing could mess up another thing so on and so forth. Sure would have loved that advice $150 dollars ago. They even sent me ANOTHER ESTIMATE to fix this new issue. No thanks.
After spending $320 with this company, not only have they NOT fixed the problem that they estimated would have been fixed in 1 hour, but now WE HAVE EVEN MORE ISSUES WITH OUR PRINTER THAN WE DID BEFORE CONTACTING THEM. Learn from my mistakes, don't go with this company to repair your printer. Just buy a new one. You'll be better off. read more
