They told me IF they could get it to work, they may not be able to save my data. HalleluYah! They were able to restore it AND my data. This was amazing news because I had some files on it that I hadn't backed up. I learned my lesson and backed that baby up right away. That iPad lasted for another year and a half before it totally died. This time I buried it. I was suppose to write a review back then but life was happening. Today, I ran across my old invoice from then and decided to log in and give them their long over due 5 stars. Amazing service, fair price, and great communication.

I chose UZ Tech Computers based on their strong reviews and expected a professional experience, but…read moreunfortunately that wasn't the case. I drove over with my laptop ready for a diagnostic, only to find the door locked with no staff available. Their signage indicated they were open, and their online profile also showed open hours, which made the situation even more frustrating. I tried calling while I was there and got no answer, and this wasn't the first time, I had also called the week prior without anyone picking up. I even waited in my car for a while in case someone showed up, but no one ever did. It ended up being a complete waste of my time, especially since I made the trip specifically based on their reputation. I'm genuinely disappointed, as I was ready to move forward with repairs and give them my business.

I have used UZ Tech Computers many times for everything from iPhone repairs, to computers issues…read more As some reported, the store is cluttered. I personally find that a non issue. It is, after all, a SMALL repair store with a LOT of supplies... and I don't go for ambiance. I go for quality repairs, and great service, and have never been disappointed. I find Eddie, the owner, to be honest, knowledgeable, and fast when he isn't inundated with trying to please customers with his quick turnaround repairs. Personally, I dont worry about what time the store may open. I never go until I call to see if I can bring my stuff in. So, I have never had to wait. A small business such as UZ Tech Computers may have to open late due to some reasonable issues... Heck, you might even find a good deal on rebuilt computers, if you aren't too picky. I did. Bought a desktop years ago, and it has worked fine. If it had not, I'm certain that Eddie would take care of the issue... I HIGHLY recommend UZ Tech for repairs, on both cell phones and computers. But, you might want to call ahead to see how busy they are...

Of course not we had to call expecting to have a fixed phone just for him to tell us he didn't have the battery, not only that when the phone was repaired he didn't not call us we had to call him and by that time we wouldn't have made it there before they closed. I was expecting a better service but 1 out of three things we needed fixed didn't even get fixed and it took us 5 days to receive the phone. SMH! Probably won't be back!!! Edit: I'm not bringing my phone back here and you only told us that the battery wasn't in stock until after we called I have never been to a repair shop that I had to call multiple times for updates because y'all simply did not know how to pick up the phone and call us you should have told us as soon as you found out not the other way around I'm not bringing my phone back here the speakers are worse than they were before yall touched them you do not get to say "we told you we didn't have the battery" the point was that you did not communicate at all we had to call multiple multiple times this is ridiculous can you take accountability at all??

My iPhone4 screen shattered after one too many drops, so I figured I could go to the Verizon store to talk about an upgrade to the 5. They laughed and told me to pay the $549 or come back in April of 2014. Awesome...no advice or help at all! So after I found this store, I dropped off my poor, broken phone. The tech was super friendly and explained what he would do, warning me that if the phone had been exposed to water sometimes it doesn't behave when they try to bring it back to life. I accepted, paid $75 for new glass and a new screen, and was told to come back in an hour. I finished my errand early and came back within 45 minutes - the phone was done! It looks brand new and works beautifully. Really pleased with the service and the quality; the tech was amazing! Too bad I didn't get his name to tell people what a good job he did. The negative - there is no sign off of 1960 telling you where this place is, and it's a tiny building, so if you don't know what to look for, keep your eyes peeled for a little orange building with no road sign. :)
