So glad these places exist! I saw a Groupon for another store and yelped it - bad reviews. So I…read moreyelped 'iPhone screen repairs' and found this location. My iPhone4 screen shattered after one too many drops, so I figured I could go to the Verizon store to talk about an upgrade to the 5. They laughed and told me to pay the $549 or come back in April of 2014. Awesome...no advice or help at all! So after I found this store, I dropped off my poor, broken phone. The tech was super friendly and explained what he would do, warning me that if the phone had been exposed to water sometimes it doesn't behave when they try to bring it back to life. I accepted, paid $75 for new glass and a new screen, and was told to come back in an hour. I finished my errand early and came back within 45 minutes - the phone was done! It looks brand new and works beautifully. Really pleased with the service and the quality; the tech was amazing! Too bad I didn't get his name to tell people what a good job he did. The negative - there is no sign off of 1960 telling you where this place is, and it's a tiny building, so if you don't know what to look for, keep your eyes peeled for a little orange building with no road sign. :)

My mom and I were at HEB and saw Gadget MD in the store. I stopped in and spoke to David who was on his way out to pick his mom up from the airport. So sweet of him to stop and fix my phone! Great service all around! My mom went back the following week to fix her own screen protector. We are now two happy customers!

See the bottom that wasn't put together right also . $117.99 spent to get back in bad shape . The owner did a response to my review totally twisted the truth. ((( The response was not correct!!!! Was not given a ( Option ) for anything else. Was just told that it would be fixed) Is changing the facts helped things by telling false narratives? Some people call that lying. Please don't try to hide behind tales of lies. I chose UZ Tech Computers based on their strong reviews and expected a professional experience, but…read moreunfortunately that wasn't the case. I drove over with my laptop ready for a diagnostic, only to find the door locked with no staff available. Their signage indicated they were open, and their online profile also showed open hours, which made the situation even more frustrating. I tried calling while I was there and got no answer, and this wasn't the first time, I had also called the week prior without anyone picking up. I even waited in my car for a while in case someone showed up, but no one ever did. It ended up being a complete waste of my time, especially since I made the trip specifically based on their reputation. I'm genuinely disappointed, as I was ready to move forward with repairs and give them my business.

I have used UZ Tech Computers many times for everything from iPhone repairs, to computers issues…read more As some reported, the store is cluttered. I personally find that a non issue. It is, after all, a SMALL repair store with a LOT of supplies... and I don't go for ambiance. I go for quality repairs, and great service, and have never been disappointed. I find Eddie, the owner, to be honest, knowledgeable, and fast when he isn't inundated with trying to please customers with his quick turnaround repairs. Personally, I dont worry about what time the store may open. I never go until I call to see if I can bring my stuff in. So, I have never had to wait. A small business such as UZ Tech Computers may have to open late due to some reasonable issues... Heck, you might even find a good deal on rebuilt computers, if you aren't too picky. I did. Bought a desktop years ago, and it has worked fine. If it had not, I'm certain that Eddie would take care of the issue... I HIGHLY recommend UZ Tech for repairs, on both cell phones and computers. But, you might want to call ahead to see how busy they are...
