At each station there are different levels of RPE. Depending on the day, you can decide how heavy or light you want to go. Bathrooms and showers are also a part of the amenity here at the gym. When I reached out on Aug 28th they told me I had a freeze until October 14th and we would address canceling closer to this date, only to charge me on Sept 1st. I was then told my freeze didn't go to October and I would have to pay for a month before they would cancel my membership. I've got emails to back all this up. They didn't care. Told them I wouldn't be able to use these credits and that I can't afford to pay this mont. They didn't care. Even after years of working out with them. Regarding workouts. Most of them are really good. Some move from station to station too quickly. Especially if you need to add or remove weights from a bar. Coaches are helpful half the time. Sometimes they're great and will correct your form or give tips. Most of the time they just want to have small talk while you workout. Just be mindful when getting a membership there. It really does just comes down to their bottom dollar and it's less about their clients.

Not only did he have great energy and curated a great ACL-themed playlist, but also included some facts about ACL throughout the class which was super fun! The gym is very clean and all of the athletes sanitize the equipment at the end of the workout. There is enough space for social distancing, tons of equipment and everyone has their own box. Coach Alex is very positive and motivating, right away he gets to know you and offers different progressions to suit your fitness level. He remembers where you left off and pushes you to do more. Compared to most CrossFit gyms FOGO has the most flexible class schedule. There are class times from 5:30am all the way to 8pm. I signed up for my first complimentary class online, and was contacted by the store manager, Dorothy, via phone call & text a few times. When I finally was able to schedule, I was able to easily text back and state when I wanted to come in. If the class has availability, you'll be able to get booked. For your first class, it's suggested to come early to sign forms and to familiarize yourself with the equipment and terms. My coach for the first class was Becky. I loved how welcoming Becky was and I felt comfortable coming in for my first fitness class since pre-covid. I love how Becky keeps you accountable. For my follow-up class, Mickey blew me away. Mickey has SO much energy and with the addition of her playlist, YOU ARE READY TO ROCK THIS!! Now for the cons... since these are essentially group fitness classes, if you are new to exercises, not much of a breakdown is provided. Form is important to me coming from an exercise science background. If your form is all wrong, you could easily injure yourself. The lack of space in between members doesn't help either for those needing modification/accommodations. Lastly, for new members, companies are typically supposed to overhype their product/s to the customer. Instead, service fell flat. I wanted OTF to sell it to me! Why OTF and not just any other gym or boutique studio? What's the purpose of purchasing OTF's heart rate monitors v wearing my own Fitbit/Apple watch? Why are splat points important? Questions I'll never have the answer to.

The studio is beautifully lit by the sun during morning classes and is very high energy. The music selection is great and each station is challenging but doable regardless of your fitness level. Parking is comped at the garage nearby. You park, then scan the QR code found on the front desk. You can also pay for street parking but that's not always guaranteed. The extra perk of this studio location is that your every close to town lake, so you can cool down by taking a nice walk after your class. Definitely recommend you check it out!
