I love it here!! always clean and always leaves me satisfie. The front desk worker is amazing and always so nice!

I've been a member here for years. Some of my favorite things include the boutique style of the studio. Semi private classes. Anytime access for members and fun events they have throughout the year. The main thing that enticed me to get a membership was the cleanliness of the studio and attention to detail. Unfortunately over the last year the ball has been dropped in both areas. The amount of broken equipment continues to grow. There's been a broken rower that used to leak water in the back of the open gym area for months now. We used to see them clean all the time and my last visit I had to exit a sauna due to the amount of dust triggering my allergies. I'm not sure if the high turnover rate has anything to do with this but I truly hope they can turn it around in 2025. I've gotten multiple friends to sign up. A couple have moved due to the over saturation of locations in the area. I really love the concept and will continue to try and introduced more ppl to HOTWORX. read more

LONG Unbiased Review: Hotworx Aliana I was given the opportunity to try this place out, and I'm glad I did. This is the type of fitness facility that you either love or hate. There is no "in the middle." So I definitely advise trying it out before committing. Pros: The place is open 24 hours, and members are given access to enter with an app, or with a code. Cons: There are no workers in there most of the time. There is no security. The area on West Airport is fairly safe, plenty of parking, and well-lit and I never felt unsafe, but hey, it only takes one time. There are also cameras inside the facility. I don't know if they are monitored 24/7, though. Pros: If you love hot workouts, and sweating- you will like this place. There are 8 sauna rooms, each heated to 100-130 degrees! You are literally working out in saunas. YES, really. You will feel like you got a great workout in little time. The classes are only 15-30 min long. Cons: If you can't do heat-- even DRY heat-- this is NOT the place for you. Pros: If you like a gym that's more self-guided and not crowded you'll like this place. THERE ARE NO INSTRUCTORS. All instruction is on a video screen, virtually, in timed loops. There is also a Hiit area in the back of the gym for you to do your own self-guided strength training If you need guidance or an instructor... don't do Hotworx. If you like a trainer yelling at you to do more burpees... this is not for you. Try F45. You need to be 100% self-motivated. Other things to note: The strength classes are 30 min long in the hot saunas. There is Hot Buns, for your glutes, or Hot Bands, for arms... Each sauna room only fits 3 people. Most classes I took I was alone in there, though, or only 1 other person so it didn't feel crowded. But if you're all about social distancing and not breathing in other people's air.... then pick a bigger place. Also, you have to BUY some of the equipment to work out. For example, Hot Bands class, they don't provide the bands!! I brought my own since I am on a trial, but they advise you to BUY THE BANDS from the vending machine for $13, or you can buy them from a person, if they're ever at the front desk. You also have to buy a Hotworx yoga mat and yoga towel for the mat. This is a requirement. Total is about $80. After doing workouts in 130 degree heat, it IS nice to have a yoga towel on top of your mat, so I get it... but I don't necessarily think it should be a requirement to buy THEIRS. FYI. The hot cardio classes are only 15 min long. So imagine a spin class-- in 130 degree heat. YUP! Make sure you hydrate. There is also a rowing class- I lasted 5 min. Haha!! The people who go, and the few that work there are all friendly. No complaints there. There is also an in-house shower you can use and clean bathrooms. read more

I started a membership and never used it so I called to cancel it and they informed me that it was but are still charging me $49 every month. I keep disputing and they keep taking it. I'm getting frustrated and documenting all of this. I keep calling and no one answers so I'll be forced to go in. Horrible experience do not recommend!!! read more

Really disappointed as I actually love the classes and the infrared saunas. However, the membership is pricey and god forbid you want to pause it! They'll tell you that they can freeze your account and you can simply call back to resume the membership, and you'll have to come in and sign something if you want to cancel. However they won't honor that, instead they'll charge you the full membership amount every month! Even when you clearly haven't returned. I think they would've done it forever if I didn't notice. Then they'll admit that they have issues with documenting customer interactions, and the burden of proof will be on you. Absolutely ZERO of my $540 was refunded. I guess they need it more than me! I hope they enjoyed the fruits of my labor while they took advantage of my card info and charged me for something I hadn't used in months. Literally just work out at home at this point. read more

I came here for a free session appointment, originally for 2:45, but pushed for 3 for personal reasons for the trainer. Arrived at 2:57, the place was closed even though the website states it is open. Waited for 20 minutes. Called the place's number and texted trainer,no answer. Wasted time and gas to get here. read more

Be careful It's a Hot (mess)worx! Pros: reasonable cost and 24 hour access. Cons: poor customer service from local Aliana and Corp office in LA: misleading practice as to actual contract terms; as I was told upon joining after trying it out for three months in a row I would go on a monthly basis and could quit anytime (also was told I had to buy all the bands, mat, mat covering and carrying case as well). After going at least once a week for months, I started noticing a different vibe if I went when staff was there. I was actually sent a text message that I had done something wrong although the manager and staff were their and didn't say anything to me directly. Basically I had enough* and decided to quit. When I went there I was told I had to give two months' notice and continue paying my monthly dues. I asked them to show me a copy of the contract stating this and the lady working didn't have an answer. She had me stay up front in the office, called her manager from the back and came back and stated at the time I joined their "POS" did work correctly so there was no contract. I was then told to e-sign a screen at the studio and I would get out of the contract, would not have to pay anything further and would have my August fee refunded. Please note at this time my app was deactivated and user code to enter the studio was turned off. Later in August I found out they never gave me refund and texted and called the Manager "M". She stated I was misinformed by her staff, confirmed my app was deactivated along with pass code to enter and I would loose my $50 for August and she would not honor what was previously told me back in August 1st when I originally came in. I asked for the corporate number to see if they could help resolve. I called 504-297-1468 and the Voice mail message was so quickly stated I could not understand her name and was not able to leave a message, as after the VM the phone on their end hangs up. It should be noted as I was having issues with HWx Alania earlier this summer I tried reaching out to the corporate office by email and was not contacted back. In summary, I had to endure 'text' messages that I had done something wrong (instead of talking to me in person or calling), was mislead on cancelation process, had my account access taken away for August going forward and they kept my monthly fee for August ($50). The *work outs: I noticed that over time the work outs don't change, the just film it with different video instructors so you should be prepared you will be doing the same routines for months on end. The wooden units are very small and confining (if you are heat adverse, claustrophobic, tall you will be uncomfortable) but if there is more than one person in there with you, you will both feel cramped. Also, you could very well hit your head on the roof (if you are 6ft or taller good luck, especially on spin bike). The technology aspect never worked for me of tracking my numbers, etc. and after a while I just used my Apple watch. You will get sweaty for sure, but in very cramped space, people leave their shoes and bags, purses, kids in this very tiny space. My suggestion is to go on Sundays when there are no staff and fewer people there. Overall at this location was not a good experience, management changes (certain level of immaturity currently) , do not honor their own deals, overcrowded areas, poor customer service and follow thru... a lot to put up with for $50 a month? read more

One of the best HIIT workouts I've done especially because of the sauna intensifying it. Very Covid friendly because of the individual rooms for use. AND it's 24/7. Brooke and Keagan are the best and so so helpful when I came for my first class. Would definitely recommend! read more

HOTWORX is the perfect fitness regimen for anybody of all shapes, sizes, and ages! Being open 24/7 for all members with classes starting every 15 minutes means that you can get an awesome workout in no matter what your schedule looks like. The infrared energy from the saunas helps so much with aches and pains, muscle recovery, melting fat, cellulite reduction, boosting metabolism, improving cardiac health and blood flow, and so much more! The heat raises your core temperature, which makes you burn more calories during your class and for about 60 minutes afterwards, so you get double the amount of workout in 1/2 the time! The virtual instructors give you modifications to make each of the 11 different classes more/less difficult depending on your fitness level.
