I've been doing Pilates since the only place in town was the Houston Ballet Academy. I've had several instructors along the way, at several places. Michelle may be the best Pilates instructor I've ever worked with. Not only is she extremely knowledgeable about Pilates, but she's also excellent in working with clients who are rehabilitating from injuries and/or just plain dealing with getting older! She won't push you too hard, but once she sees that you're ready, she will definitely push you to sweat! Before long, you will see improvement in your strength, flexibility, tone and overall physical AND mental condition. The second floor studio is very airy with a pretty view of the Greatwood "Lake" , extremely well equipped and nicely finished and the music is always good! I don't live in Sugar Land, but it's well worth the 1/2 hour drive. The way I look at it, anyplace else that may be nearer is a waste of a trip. read more

Love Cody and Michelle! I started taking their classes almost ten years ago and have reaped the benefits of Pilates -- changed my shape, my flexibility and my attitude. It's also easier to keep up with my grandchildren now! The on-line class scheduling makes it very easy to coordinate my Pilates sessions with my work and travel schedule, and make changes when necessary. Both Cody and Michelle take a personal interest in each individual and make certain that their specific needs are considered when going through the flow of movements. And they make all that hard work feel like fun! I love the new studio, especially since it's so close to my home. But I would travel farther to take their classes -- that's how much I trust and appreciate their expertise and caring personalities. read more

I have been going to Performance Pilates since last November and am very please with how professional the owners and the instructors are as well as how clean they keep the premises and equipment. The equipment is high quality making the routines safe. I have a fractured L4 so the instructors modified routines adapted for me. The instructors are certified and very educated to help with whatever element you have or any area you would like to concentrate for a complete exercise program. Each instructor shows you different exercises so you are never bored. So if you are interested in a very qualified workout, this is the place to come, My balance has improved, as well as my flexibility. I am 66 years old so this is helping me get toned. read more

This is a Pilates Studio located inside the Greatwood Training Center. The owners, Cody and Michelle, are exceptional instructors. I've searched my entire adult life looking for an exercise regimen that connected with my motivation. I've found it -- Pilates! I have been getting amazing instruction and attention at Performance Pilates, especially as I recover from a broken patella (kneecap.) The individual sessions have helped me in the healing process to develop better range of motion and flexibility. Also, I get great tips on "proper" movement when sitting, standing and walking for daily use. I have had two private sessions so far, one with Michelle and one with Cody and I enjoyed them both. After not exercising for nearly 10 years and gaining some weight last year, I must admit that I was incredibly nervous for my first session. Both Michelle and Cody are phenomenal instructors. Services are available multiple days at multiple times. The location is clean and well maintained. The instructors are knowledgeable in the field of Pilates. Instructors are pleasant, helpful, and care about you as an individual. Pilates is my favorite type of exercise program.
