Everyone was so kind and welcoming when I arrived, and you can tell that the instructors are knowledgeable. Things were a little different than I am used to with teaching fascially, but it was a nice change and I liked how different the moves felt on my body. Cody was patient and provided modifications where needed so all of the class felt included and able to participate. It helped me cultivate my practice, and for that, i will always be grateful. It's a great place for beginners to get a solid foundation to grow and learn. That's pretty important if you are interested in continuing to go deeper in your practice. But that's not always everyones goal. The prices have gone up since I last came here before the pandemic, but that's every studio. Grace, the owner, just opened this new location in the same shopping center as the previous location. I give Grace tons of credit for doing her very best to cultivate a real yoga community. There are always challenges, guest teachers, and theme classes going on to mix it up. There is a nice mix of slower flow and yin classes and more advanced classes like hot power flow. But the classes are not as frequent. It is likely intentional for business purposes. There are also some classes offered as both online and in person, which is a nice touch for those that either don't want to come face to face due to covid or can't make it in time for in person class. I just got a bundle of classes, so I'm coming back more frequently. It's far from where I actually live, so it may be short-lived. But it's nice to be back on my mat. Namaste.

I started with the "flow basics" classes that are slow, purposeful movement with lots of explanation. There were people in that class from age 20s to 80s. You do not have to have ANY experience to take that class and the instructors are great at explaining each pose and corrections you need to make. After some practice, I wanted more of a challenge and went to "flow" classes which move faster. Then I began practicing daily to sometimes twice a day during COVID and now love the power flow classes. The instructors are GREAT. Some move faster, some slower. Some instructors incorporate more advanced poses and some stick to the basics. You can try each one out and figure out who you feel most comfortable with and whose style best fits yours. My favorite instructors: Grace, because I like how her classes flow and she's great about explaining the small adjustments that I should be making in my form and practice. Rashad because of his gentle giant nature. He does simple and straight forward flow classes which are just my speed and style! Georgia because even though she can clearly do any yoga pose and is extremely flexible, she modifies her yoga practice to be accessible to anyone. And I love Jess, Lesley, Amy, Dominique, Jeffrey... really they are all great and each have their own style. I also love that the yoga instructors look like real people. They don't look like they all stepped out of a Lululemon commercial (a few do, but they can't help that they are super fit). They are real people, with real bodies, and aren't perfect. I love that I can identify with them. During COVID, the studio started online live classes every day and would also email a link to the FULL video of the class that you can replay as many times as you want for a week. WOW! This was a LIFESAVER. I was able to practice from the comfort and safety of my home as well as watch the video over and over. I was concerned that I wouldn't get my money's worth during COVID (I have the monthly unlimited package) but it has been the complete opposite! During the shut down of the studio and now reopening with smaller classes, I am able to practice from home, with my favorite instructors, conveniently and receive 1 week unlimited replays for every class I sign up for (even if I sleep through the class or it doesn't work for my schedule). I have made out like a bandit! The owner, Grace, is friendly, receptive to feedback and questions, and a fantastic yoga instructor! One of the things I love about this studio is the community. I came for the yoga, but I am committed to this studio because of the community, vibe and people. Everyone is so supportive. It is not a competitive environment at all, it's the opposite, everyone wants to help each other be healthy, strong, and the best yoga practitioner they can be. I have recommended this studio to everyone who will listen because yoga is low impact, increases strength and has huge mental health benefits. Parking: I didn't want to deal with trying to find a spot at a gym... well this yoga studio is in a lot that has 10 times the parking that is needed on any given day. Easy access to the feeder too. Phillip, the owner and instructor, is very friendly and helpful in making you feel comfortable at this studio. Since the studio is so small (picture one long room with 6 reformers placed slanted along one long mirrored wall as the whole studio), you never feel like you'll be forgotten or neglected. Phillip either can tell what your level is or knows your level if you're a regular here and will help you and / or push you to do the best you can and get the best workout possible. I've been here twice now and both times I left feeling like I was standing up a little bit straighter and like I had magically developed my six pack a little during that one hour work-out. The gym is basically like a Tardis, bigger on the inside! I have extreme anxiety about going to gyms when they're absolutely packed, and refreshingly there weren't a TON of people taking up all the machines. I went around 11:30am on a Tuesday. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by a very friendly staff member. He made sure I was taken care of and let me know where the bathrooms and water fountains were while I waited for Bailey. The gym is CLEAN. Very nice aesthetic and not overwhelming. I forgot to ask, but I think they offer boxing? There's a boxing ring in the middle of the gym. That was awesome to see and very rare! My workout with Bailey was INTENSE, but in the best way. He pushed me past the limit that I thought I could do, but made sure I was always comfortable and not in pain where my injuries are. 10/10 will definitely be coming back!

My membership was going great up until a recent unexpected note in August 2025 that the gym's lease had ended and would need to move a location further away. Their initial email notice on August 8th at 325pm CST was clear and transparent, but the follow-up to members was not clear and timely as expected. I sent a follow up email on September 3rd, 2025, to find out when the new location will be open as we did not get an update since August 8th, 2025. I got a reply on September 6th, 2025, advising that they will not make the September 8th, 2025, target date and it would be extended due to a reassessment review from the fire marshal. The same day, September 6th, 2025, Kinetix sent a note to all members with the update plus charging September membership. At first, I understood the reasoning for the delay, but I did not agree that Kinetix would charge members for the month of September since the facility is still closed and provided no supplement to members that did not have access to a gym. After careful consideration, I decided to cancel my membership and request my September charge be refunded/prorated since they charged my account for a facility that is not operable. I am not sure when they will be open, but as of right now the gym is still temporarily closed on November 3rd 2025. It is unfortunate that the gym had to move and have a temporary closure, but I do not agree with charging memberships in September when the gym is closed. I would have appreciated not charging members accounts till facility is back up and running since they closed at the end of August 2025. My account has been cancelled, but now I am requesting my September charge be refunded and awaiting a reply. Neal advised on September 19th, 2025, that the request has been submitted and it may take a billing cycle to my account. Another follow up was provided by Neal on October 16th, 2025, to resolve after multiple emails, and still now no refund has been provided. I am sure I am not the only one that is dealing with these unfortunate issues, but I wanted to share my review/experience to those that may be thinking about joining Kinetix in the future. I do not recommend this gym as there are cheaper and much better options in the area.

First month was amazing and i saw results on my measurement. I decided to keep up with it and lost a little over 30lbs and was feeling wonderful. I unfortunately due to an injury had to pull back, but what i witnessed at this gym was beyond great. The two JNS brothers are in this for one reason and one reason only, they want to see people do well. I have seen them there at all hours of the day, and i have seen them go out of their way to help someone in need. They provide the encouragement, accountability and knowledge that is needed for a healthy lifestyle change. This is not an easy journey, but with the help of JNS staff and owners, the journey can be obtained. Listening to their recommendation and believe there recommendation and routines and you will be able to achieve success.

Over a year ago, I was a member at this gym and had a personal trainer. However, I had to relocate from the area for work and could not complete my sessions, so I canceled my membership and the remaining private training sessions. Fast forward to this week, my checking account was charged without permission, and when contacting the gym, I was told this was because of new ownership. My problem, however, is that they should not have authorized any charges, given that I canceled my membership over a year ago. When calling to request documentation and proof that I would receive a refund, I was told I "lacked patience" and would have to wait. This is highly unprofessional and illegal. I would be weary of joining this gym as they conduct business poorly.
