Quality is good but I never paid 145 for a fill and a basic pedicure never get business from me again

I got a phenominal French manicure and French pedicure there last week. They're walking distance from me and they give good customer service. My nails were very long and had tap on them which I love but I cut them off and had dip instead. V Did an amazing job of reshaping my nails and dipping them. Not a good experience.They hurt my cuticles really bad the last coat is falling off. It was 40 for the nails i asked the person that made my nails how much was it because my cuticles where blinding and he said It will get cure in one day and that is normal. Every so often, my little sister and I love to have a girls day and part of that day includes getting our nails done. My sister has some special needs as she is mildly autistic and unfortunately we have had a few negative experiences with nail shop staff in the past. It has been 3 weeks since my young adult daughters and I had dip manicures at HotNails. The manicures were done so precisely and well that 3 weeks later I have not had one issue. For me - that has never happened with any other manicure I have had. I highly recommend HotNails if you are looking for a very good dip manicure. I love this place! The staff is friendly, they remember you no matter how long it's been since your last appointment, and the services they offer are artistic at an affordable price. The staff knows me and my friend by name, offers good customer service, and will do designs you bring to them. The massage chairs are awesome, and the spa pedicure is one of their best services they offer, although there is quite an array of services. Tip well! These ladies deserve it! read more

Good experience but my main critique is that they did not know how to do detailing. I showed them a photo of the marble design, but instead of blending it, they're just white lines. Good shop if you're doing the basics, but for excellent performance I would go elsewhere. read more

These nails STAY ON!! I've been to several of Lincoln's inexpensive Vietnamese nail salons (there are quite a few), and this one has won me over. They have the best pedicure massage chairs of the salons I've been to. Pedicures include peppermint foot bath, hot towel, & calf/foot massage. 2 wall-mounted HDTVs (always tuned to Ch. 10/11). Waxing also offered. Occasionally, they'll offer you a free water or soda while you sit in a massage chair for the next available beautician. They always remember my name & what service I got last time, no matter how long it has been since my last visit. Here's an example of their service: I showed up after a long, stressful day at work. The lights were out. The owner , Judy, walked out to my car, asked me what I needed, and (despite my insistence that "you're closed! you don't have to do this for me!") insisted on turning the lights back on and giving me a fill AND pedicure. I was the ONLY ONE in the salon, & she stayed open for me, while her husband helped clean up. Your beautician may not speak perfect English, and it may not be in a wealthy part of town, but this salon makes me feel more like a queen than any other place in town. I recommend it. read more

Worst nails ever! Got acrylic and glue all over my fingers! When I commented on it she said I was picky and started calling me names. I started to feel really uneasy and tearing up, I was there to get nails for my wedding day. I got up and walked out. A customer called the police on me and the woman doing my nails grabbed me and tried pulling me back in the building. I ran and left. I called the police to go back there with me so I could at least pay for my pedicure. They said if I did not clip my nail tips before leaving they would press charges and have me arrested. I would not let them touch me and clipped my nails, the cop and I left and I paid them with no tip. If you like Jerry Springer, you'll love this salon and the clientele read more

Love these guys and my nails always stay in, which is saying something because I am very hard on them. The designs they do are the best I've ever had in 30 years of having my nails done. My daughter and I have been going here for two years after trying several other places that just don't measure up to these guys. They are on the absolute opposite side of town from us, but worth fighting traffic for. The only itty-bitty thing that is not great is they keep getting busier as word spreads and don't always have a full staff, so they end up rushing and you end up waiting. But even with that they are the best. read more

This is by far THE best place for eyebrows. I've been to lots of places in Lincoln and they don't compare. I always leave there loving my eyebrows every single time. They really know what they're doing. And people always ask where I go and I gladly tell them! Highly suggest! read more

Shellac and Full set nails are done very well and very professionally. Never had a bad nail job from them, however the salon definitely needs more ventilation, as the fumes from the chemicals are really noticable, almost to the point of wearing a mask. They have small children in there very often also. read more

I came in on a Saturday after noon and wanted a mani pedi, I was promptly seated in a chair. They did my mani with gelish polish while my pedi was being done. I asjed the lady twice to cut my nails shorter as I work with my hands...she almost seemed appalled that I wanted them short. Then the gelish was no where near as hard as it should have been...I broke a nail two days later because they were too long :( Normally gellish doesn't break that easy read more

Do you love nail fungus!!! this place is for you: Sanitation protocols are very bad at this nail shop. Nails tools are not disinfect properly. I witnessed them reusing dirty tools on customers. Pedicure tub are not disinfect with any chemical, instead they just rinse them down with water between customers. I tried to talk to the owner about her shop sanitary practices, but her daughter immediately jumped in and stated "my mom does not speak English. And why are you being so picky.. we do a very good job here everybody like our nails". The owner daughter got very sensitive and used profanity.
