The weather was perfect for staying there (cloudy, drizzly, cool.... Not so good for seeing the sites, but you know). The window overlooked the street, which was great. The beds were comfy. The shared bath and shower were tiny but you could see a waterfall out the small window... so cool! Also, the breakfast was huge and delicious. The property had lots of nice communal spaces and had tea and coffee available all day. I really liked staying here!

Our room had a good sized balcony with table and chair and absolutely breathtaking views of the mountains. The location is excellent, just a few minutes walk to the train station as well as the gondola to ride up the mountain. Also close to shopping at three coop store. Breakfast was included and was excellent. Coffee and tea available 24/7 in the lobby. Staff super helpful. Would definitely stay again!

Smelled faintly of cigarette smoke (rooms are non-smoking, but they allow smoking on the balconies), but I just kept the window open and that helped. The room was clean and spacious with a beautiful view of the falls. Usually we don't like to eat at the hotels where we stay (unless we have to), but the restaurant here was top notch. Liked it so much we ate there 2 of the three nights we were in town. I had the deer both nights, absolutely scrumptious). Their pizzas seem popular, though we did not have one. Super conveniently located across the street from the train station and next to the cable car up to Murren and next to the Coop Grocery (easy to pick up snacks or a bottle of wine). Not for the faint of heart, though. Dragging our bags up the hill to the property was a job - thankfully we were up to it, but if you're booking keep your fitness level in mind (or maybe the hotel offers some sort of help? I didn't ask.) I would definitely recommend staying here. If ever back in Lauterbrunnen, I would stay again.

They are open throughout the day so that was great. The cream of tomato soup and Indonesian vegetable rice were very well presented and soothing on a cold, rainy day in the mountains. Prices are exorbitant but that is expected when you are in such a remote town in Switzerland. Service was quick and friendly by Swiss standards :)

The location is perfect for Mürren, with sweeping views from the rooms and the open patio, where meals can be served. They have the towns only coin-operated laundry service, which is a big bonus for travelers coming from other places. This is open to the public, so sometimes there is a wait to use the machines. Some room packages come with free breakfast, which offers a delightful section of breads, cheeses, fresh fruit, and sliced deli meats. Anyone coming to the Bernese Oberland area should seriously consider a stay at the Hotel Bellevue in Mürren. You won't be disappointed!

It was always comfortable in the room even though there was no temperature control, and there's always the option to open the window for some Alpine mountain air. Our hair dryer wasn't working and the wifi was spotty (if on, very fast) but we lived. The breakfast options sometimes ran out of food early (esp for popular items like boiled egg or plain yogurt) and the walls are a little thin, but otherwise a very convenient and beautiful stay!

There was a nice small refrigerater - but in the middle of the night, it froze over and a bottle of water/ice exploded. Water was leaking out the bottom, so at midnight we were sopping up the water. This hotel needs some maintenance and care from the owner. Due to low staffing, the breakfast was no longer available after the first day. Service was VERY slow in the restaurant. The closet was inadequate for just the 2 of us. Had there been 4, impossible. Towels were delivered every day - but there were NO towel racks for hanging wet towels. There was no one staffing reception for most of the day.

They are very keen on customer service and they will do everything they can to ensure you are having a good stay. I believe it is now owned by the original owner's son, and he is a total gem. He does a great job of managing his staff to make sure they are meeting your needs. The dinner was okay. Breakfast is always great. They servers are over the top amazing. The views are so breathtakingly beautiful you'd swear you were on a Heidi movie set. You think it can't possibly be this beautiful. But it is. I can't wait to come back. Seriously everyone needs to come here and stay at some point. I can't say enough good things about this hotel.
