Very disappointing experience. My order was supposed to be ready at 7:13. I was initially told another five minutes, then another three, but ended up waiting about 15 additional minutes for two orders of breadsticks. When the breadsticks finally came out, the employee refused to give me my two orders until she had bagged ALL of the breadsticks and put them in the warmer. I waited another seven minutes while my pizza sat in the car getting cold. A 7:13 pickup turned into a frustrating and unnecessarily long wait. Really poor customer service and handling of a very simple situation. read more

The pizza was amazing. Love the tootsie rolls. We had it delivered so didn't get to interact with staff.

What can say...when you are jonesing for awesome breadsticks, hotbox has you covered. Always fresh. When you bite into the breadsticks, you get a crunchy outside with a nice, soft, squishy inside. Pairs best with their nacho cheese sauce...however, you have plenty of options when it comes to dipping sauces (ranch, garlic butter, pizza sauce and nacho cheese). So...some of you might be like "enough about the breadsticks ... what about the pizza?" The pizza is just as yummy...with toppings that don't leave you thinking "well, that could have used more (insert your fave topping here)". I have even tried the gluten free crust and it dies not disappoint. Each week they run a 1/2 off special on one of their specialty pizzas or cheese sticks (a cheese pizza with garlic butter sauce instead of pizza sauce). As far as staff experience...we are always greeted with great service from ordering to them bringing it out to your table (no matter the location) ... they are also super accommodating... we've had experiences where they have given our kiddos extra tootsie rolls when they have asked. Definitely one of our many faves to gave a great pizza experience. read more

I love the guys that work here. They are personable and fun. Pizza is always ready really fast, and my order is correct every time. Love the thin crust. read more

I visit hot box quite often because it's close to work. Figured while we were out this way, we'd grab some pizza at this location. We called and asked how long, they said ten minutes. Great. We arrive and pay. It took almost 25 minutes! I would've had no problem waiting if we would've been told about this up front. It was over promise and under deliver. I'd rather be the other way around. We had ham pizza. There was literally one time piece of ham on each slice. I should've grabbed a picture but we were starving. The stix were nice and fresh but parts did seem undercooked. Also I think they've gotten smaller over time. read more

Very friendly staff. Good customer service. They fix the food quickly and they keep the place clean. (Psst....If you need a 2-liter of soda, buy it at the gas station next door. It's cheaper there. ;) ) read more

Another great pizza tonight!. I have never had a bad experience. The staff is always friendly, and the pizza has always been ready when promised. The pie of the week is a good deal too. Thanks to everyone for working during these trying times. read more

Love their deals. Got a large pepperoni, breadsticks, and 2 drinks for $13.99. I love their breadsticks! Slightly crispy on the outside and soft, airy, and chewy on the inside. The pizza is good too. I do wish their online ordering was better. The usual things you expect from other sites aren't used on theirs. For example, the list of locations to order from does not automatically list closest to your location and the cart is way on the bottom of the page. I wasn't paying attention and choose the first location listed, which is probably the 2nd closest location from me. read more

I decided to get some pizza and a salad tonight delivered. I used to have a coworker who would get hotbox for lunch regularly so thought I'd give it a try. First, the positive: the salad was fresh and tasty and thankfully the dressing was on the side.... because the balsamic vinaigrette was horrible. Second, the pizza: I'm not sure I have the words to describe how horrible this pizza was. I are three piexes because I was hungry then wished I hadn't. I threw the rest away. The mozzarella is heavy, yet tasteless. The crust was tasteless and the same consistency as the box. Even the onions and other veggies were tasteless. This is the epitome of low quality food. I'm sure their breadsticks are good. I know their salad is good as long as you have your own dressing. But I'm flabbergasted that they can stay in business with their pathEric pizza. read more

Best breadsticks ever! They are so soft and pair perfectly with cheese or marinara. The pizza is okay, not terrible but not authentic which is my preference. Again, I come here for the breadsticks! The pizza is good for sports games or parties and this location is always pretty timely in their delivery. I also like the short cups that the drinks are served in. read more

This HotBox is fantastic! My company does business with them every weekend (we offer birthday parties for children and include the pizza) and they are just the best! We have a whole set up for ordering that they established just for us that makes it super convenient to communicate with them. They are fast, friendly, efficient, and the pizza is freaking delicious. Thin crust with their liquid gold-like ranch is my absolute fave. LOVE read more

maybe a 3.5. In yet another quest to use up my entertainment book coupons, the wife and I decided to order some pizza from hot box. We had some relatives coming in, and figured why the heck not. I ended up picking up our order, but let me give you a breakdown of what I saw. AMBIENCE- this place is connected to a gas station. I don't know what image that conjures up in your mind, but the place is actually pretty clean. They have a lunch menu with slices and such, though I didn't see any pies sitting out when I went. perhaps they make them to order? SERVICE- the guy that was helping me was friendly, and greeted me as soon as I walked in. Shortly after I got there, they completed my order, and I was on my way. Both he, and the other guy working there had these quasi-cool t-shirts on that had something clever written on them. meh. MENU- besides your standard pizza toppings, this place has a number of different specialty pizzas and sauces (I think you can order pesto, alfredo, ranch as well as tomato sauce on your pie). You can also choose what style of crust (regular, thin, and a wheat crust) I signed up for their newsletter, and they rave about their breadstix, though we didn't end up getting any. FOOD- for our order, we got a large supreme, and a large chicken ranch which had ranch sauce, chicken and bacon on (and maybe some spinach? I can't remember). The supreme was about what I expected, and the chicken ranch was ok. It actually seemed a little dry, but still tasty. OVERALL- considering the price (about $18 per pizza), I was expecting these pizzas to be overflowing with toppings or something, but these were just alright. Sure they got some creative toppings and combos, but I didn't really think it was anything to write home about. Celebrity Rating- Ray Liotta read more

Love their breadsticks and cheese---they remind me a bit of the old-school Noble Roman's breadsticks, if you're old enough to remember those. The breadsticks are really just a conduit to get more of that delish spicy cheese into my mouth. The pizza is fine, but not my fave. But let's face it, even ok pizza is good pizza. I like their lunch special: huge slice of cheese or pepperoni, breadsticks and cheese or marinara (hint: pick the cheese!). The drink is extra, so you're looking at about $8-10 for lunch. read more

My family LOVES HotBox Pizza! What my favorite part about HotBox is their pie of the week. They choose a new pizza each week and it is half off! I meannnnnn seriously! I look forward to seeing which one they choose each week. Their thin crust is delicious. Crunchy and lite, which is extremely important because traditional crust hurts my stomach. Their Dixie chick pizza is incredible. My personal favorite. I also love that HotBox always seems to be supporting charities or good causes or the HSE schools. It seems as if they are always giving back to the community which I highly respect. I do not think I have ever had a bad experience with HotBox, only good experiences for me and my family! read more

I hate to trash a nice place with very nice people but the pizza is just so bad, I've talked my wife continually into trying this pizza thinking we must have just been there on a bad day but 2-3 years later it's always been terrible. Not sure how they can consistently make terrible pizza day in day out - so sad read more

The staff here is so chill and accommodating. Pizza is way better than other chain restaurants around but still gives you the takeout experience and prices. Order the thin crust and get a salad with their homemade ranch dressing. Boom. Satisfaction. read more

Literally the worst service of any pizza place in Fishers! You always have to wait on the phone (if it's not busy), their delivery times are always longer than anyone else, and we've even had issues with carryout taking as long as delivery. This last call was the last chance! I had to wait for 5 minutes on the phone to hear their delivery was close to 1.5 hours and they're a half mile from our house! read more

Very Unorganized!!!! 3/9 @ 8pm - Tonight seemed like a few of the employees might have been HIGH while on the job. This place is falling apart. Not sure who manages it but it used to be decent. Now the staff is very questionable. 2/21 @ Called in my 1 topping pizza. Was told 20 mins. I showed up in 17mins , paid, and waited...,,,,,,,.,,....,,...... another 12 mins went by and I went up to the counter and they said sorry they can't find my pizza. It was 44 mins by the time I received my pizza. read more

Would give zero stars if I could. $20! 10 times better pizza at Pizza Hut or Domino's for way less. One word description: dry! Crust was particularly dry and tasteless. Sauce was bland and barely there. Toppings were just okay and not plentiful. What a joke - tootsie rolls in the box. Are you kidding?! Never again will we get pizza from this place. Not the kind of place that a free pizza would even make us go back. read more

Good food and a good price. Always friendly staff and they have THE best cups...gotta collect them. Try some of the specialty pizzas, the Dixie Chicken (Little Feet!) rocks. All in all a great place...will remind you of Pizza Express in Bloomington (for obvious reasons). Get it and enjoy! read more

Hot Box is one of the few places that delivers and we love it for a quick family night. We usually get the thin crust pizza half pineapple and half cheese. Of course their breadsticks are a must too! I'm rating it a 4 out of 5 because the pizza comes fast and they are really consistent with their quality and getting the order right. However, it is a pay for what you get. Not the best pizza I've had in my life. Always great for when a tired mom and dad don't want to cook. read more

Yum yum yum! Hot Box is delish. We order it at the office every now and then and love getting their Big Ten special. The pizza is really good - not the gourmet topping selection that you find at Bazbeaux, but still tasty pizza! The breadsticks are awesome too, and what we always look forward to is the ranch dressing for dipping! An added bonus - you get Tootsie Rolls for dessert with every pizza. Just take them out of the box as soon as you get the pizza or they will melt and get pretty weird. Their website's really informative and you can sign up for their enewsletter, which will alert you to the Hot Box Pie of the Month, and other special deals. One tip - be sure to go to their actual website (www.gethotboxpizza.com) and just don't Google 'hot box' or type in hotboxdotcom.... that's definitely not going to give you info about the pizza! :) read more

I ordered delivery today for lunch and all I have to say is I'm impressed. They delivered my pizza 25 minutes before the delivery window quoted to me, my pizza was hot, and delicious! Not to mention the fun little tootsie rolls at the end of my meal! And the young man who delivered it was very sweet! I will be ordering again! read more

On Friday night, I hosted a mini-slumber party while my hubby was out of town. Like most drunk people, we were craving pizza at an unearthly hour (of 11 p.m.). :) Well, as anyone knows who is a regular reader of my reviews, I live in Carmel. Needless to say, this isn't Broadripple and most places close at 10 p.m. Except Hot Box!! After calling several other pizza places, we were pleasantly surprised to discover this gem! And, they delivered in 20 minutes! Everything we had was pretty good! We ordered two salads with ranch, cheesesticks and bread sticks and it was very reminiscent of my days at IU and ordering the Big Ten for $10. Our total bill was under $20 and they were very quick to get us our midnight snacks. Nothing like making a few winos happy when no one else is open. High fives in my book and something I will not forget! read more

When I am in Fishers and get a craving for breadsticks, there is absolutely no better place to go than Hot Box. We occasionally order a large pepperoni pizza and two orders of breadsticks. The pizza is ok, it's not anything amazing and it really isn't bad either, it's just right at average. I have had their pizza the regular way and with light cheese, and to me the latter is better, just seems to be able to bring out more of the taste when there is less cheese present. I could go on for pages about how amazing the breadsticks taste but you really need to taste them for yourself. I prefer the cheese dip as opposed to the marinara. They also give you take home plastic cups when you order a drink, which is great to keep around for kids or just when you don't want to dirty a dish. I wish they would change colors soon though, I have way too many yellow ones! I have never eaten inside the restaurant I usually call my order in and then take it home. They do have a small dining area with a flat screen that usually has a game playing. Overall Hot Box has a pretty decent pizza, cool plastic cups, nifty dining area, and phenomenal breadsticks that just make you wanna smack your grandma! read more

I love Hot Box's pizza but especially their bread sticks. It's a solid quality pizza that isn't over the top in what they are trying to make. Their bread sticks are outstanding though! Most of their specials include drinks which is ok. Surprisingly the drinks arrive pretty fresh tasting and not water downed. I'd rate the place a 4/5 but am docking a star since last week my order ahead pizza arrived an hour early. The manager did refund my payment which was solid. This begs a larger question though, why can pizza places NEVER get order ahead times right? read more

This place needs to get its stuff together on take out. I have tried multiple methods to have my pizza ready when I arrive. I ordered online hours before. I ordered with an ASAP order. I ordered and arrived 15 minutes late. I've paid before and I've paid on arrival. Every time there's one or two prices to put together and I have to wait 10-15 while they get their crap together. It's unreal. As for the food, I'm clearly a fan or I wouldn't put up with this garbage. A good place to go. Just hope you don't have any kind of schedule. read more

Good pizza, questionable management. So I called at 11:30 a.m. To order a pizza. They told me they could not deliver it until about 1:15. When I asked why, they told me that the manager had only scheduled one driver, and there were already a bunch of deliveries that would have to go out before mine. Really??? You only schedule one driver on a Friday afternoon? I asked the girl on the phone to let the manager know that I would not order from them if it would take that long to arrive. Maybe they need a manager with better business savvy. I imagine that the amount of lost sales would far exceed the cost of having another driver available. I guess I will give Pizza Hut a call instead! read more

Not quality pizza. I would not recommend. The dough is not cooked properly. The pricing is average, but there are way too many options out there to eat something that is dissatisfaction. read more

Super quick delivery! I wasn't aware that there was a Hot Box location in Fishers until a few days ago. Boy oh boy was I thrilled to learn of such a thing. My first memory of Hot Box was in downtown Indy after a lively night at Howl at the Moon. Isn't that everyone's first experience of Hot Box? Anyhow, my nights of dancing until 4 am have dwindled a little (not completely, mind you), but a little. So now my run-ins with Hot Box are a bit less frequent. Even so, sometimes you're in the mood for such a thing and it totally hits the spot. And their breadsticks? OH MY HEAVENS. Just load er' up. The one downfall is that they didn't let me order a salad for delivery. So - I was left with the pizza and breaksticks. Bummer, right? ;) read more

Pizza is good but I'll never call again. Never. I called at 6:56pm tonight and a female answered and she was THE RUDEST PERSON I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH IN THE SERVICE INDUSTRY. "You want delivery?? It's gonna be at least an hour." (Rude tone) "I'm going to need your credit card number "(rude tone as I walk 5 feet to get it) "(Sigh) credit card number??" I give the number....silence "I'm going to need your credit card number" I say, I already gave it "I need it again". (Rude tone) "Need the code on the back" NO PLEASE was said, EVER EVER EVER. And so on and very abrasive/rude asking every single question. Then....no thank you what so ever when order complete. None. "It'll be at least an hour". Click (her hanging up, not me) What THE HELL??? I'll go out of my way not to order from there again. I almost called back and cancelled it but I didn't want to be bullied by this employee again. My protest will be my future lack of business. And we used to order frequently. MANAGER: THIS GIRL NEEDS TO GO. New Boom Bozz right down the road. read more

I order delivery at 4:15 on a Friday. I requested delivery around 5:15. I called the store at 5:30 to check on the status at which time they told me I was out of their delivery area. They refunded my order and said I can come to pick up the pizza. I am a single mother of a 2 year old which is the whole reason why I ordered delivery. I don't understand why they did not know I was out of their delivery area when I first called or why I would not have gotten a call to advise me that they would not be delivering my pizza. Very disappointed. We love Hotbox and usually order dinner from here once a week. Ordered online tonight. Was told it would be 25 min for pickup. Got to the store 30 min after ordered. Went in, paid, gave a good tip and was told they would bring out food when it was ready. I understand they were busy. However, I sat in my vehicle in the parking lot for an hour. Finally decided to step inside and check on my order. The two guys working the front counter were incredibly rude. I asked someone to check on my food because I had been waiting an hour. I got an eye roll from one and a dirty look from the other. After another 10 min, one looked at the racks and yelled it was "right there". Another 10 min later I was handed my food while the guy gave me a death stare. I get that you forgot my food, but not even a hey, sorry, forgot about your food. Cold food and extremely poor customer service is not what I had in mind for this evening. Although I really like their food, I will start taking my business elsewhere. read more
