Unfortunately, I don't have great things to say about Mozzi's. We had heard it was good so we were excited to try. Their pizza wasn't great. Not a lot of sauce on it and the cheese wasn't gooey at all, it was chewy and almost undercooked when you bit into it. Their breadsticks had a great texture and were soft inside but tasted only like dough. No seasoning, flavor or anything. You had to dip it into a sauce for them to be good. I ordered Calzone which is not my go to food. It was huge, but I doubt I'll order again. Green peppers were raw as raw gets and an abundance of them. Would have given 4 stars. But... We ordered 3 sandwiches and an order of breadsticks. We have lived in Fortville now for a year. We haven't ordered from Mozzi's prior to tonight. Sent my husband to pick up the food. When he got home, I asked where are the breadsticks?? Of course, no breadsticks. He was pissed, left to go back to get them. I ordered online. The website said my order would be ready in 25 minutes . I arrived 30 minutes after I ordered. Mozzi's was busy when I arrived due to a large order that had been placed. I understand being busy on a Friday night. They only had 1 high school girl working the counter. She was doing her best but she needed help due to her struggles! I finally made it up to the counter after 10 minutes. The Sicilian pizza I ordered was done but the traditional 13 " Supreme I also ordered was supposedly just coming out of the oven. I paid for the pizzas and waited. After 30 more minutes of waiting, I asked what happened to my other pizza. She went backed and checked on my second pizza, it was done and had been sitting there for 20+ minutes. The pizzas boxes were barely warm. When I arrived home the Sicilian pizza was made wrong and was not even warm! I would definitely NOT order online ever again! If you do order from Mozzi's do it via phone and ask how long it will ready be before your order will be ready.Also ALWAYS check your order BEFORE you leave or you might get an unwanted surprise when you get home! Horrible experience - kept trying to overcharge me, had to spend over 10 minutes trying to explain simple math with three associates. Finally a manager came over and we were able to settle the price. However, the very poor attitude of the initial associate at the counter continued. We cancelled our order and left. We won't be back. Was hoping to give a small town pizza place a chance, but they failed miserably. Wish I could give a review on the quality and taste of pizza - they looked busy so must not be too bad, though I'll never know. This little pizza shop has done no wrong. If we order delivery, they are always on time and usually before the time they state. If we pickup, the pie is always ready and hot. We have never had a missing item or a mistake with our orders. They actually pay attention on the phone. We pickup now and then and the store is always clean and everything looks tidy and neat. The absolute best pizza I've had in a long time. Finally, a pizza place the understands the concept of a well done pizza (see posted picture). The service was on point too. From what in noticed, most were teens, and very polite and respectful. Something you don't see much of anymore. It is a little more of a drive for me, but this will be my new go to pizza joint. Best darn pizza EVER TASTED! I have a lot of friends and family that visit and they always request that I order a pizza from Mozzi's for dinner, even have a sister in-law that orders one to take home when she visits. I do a lot of traveling and the sauce at Mozzi's is by far the best I have ever tasted. Even when compared to Giordano's in Chicago. I have been a customer here at Mozzi's Fortville since they opened. Staff is friendly. My personal favorite is sausage, pepperoni, mushroom, onion, extra cheese, thick crust and of course PIE CUT YUM YUM! Mozzi's Pizza in Fortville, IN. We have been ordering from this store for many years, because we love their pizza. We have been on vacation for over a week and ordered it on our way home, around 9 PM. We ordered our usual, large sausage plus extra cheese for delivery. Total was $21.83, a little expensive for delivery, but we were ok, since we love Mozzi's. Pizza delivered was horrible. They added bacon, even though we did not order. I only ate one piece. The bacon that we did not order seemed to be bacon bits. No extra cheese. I only ate one piece, even though I was starving. My husband called the restaurant and they told him that was what the waitress wrote down, sausage, bacon, even though that's not what we ordered. My husband called and spoke to them about the pizza. Their story is what the waitress wrote down is what is right, and they did not offer to compensate or reimburse, because that is what the server wrote down.
