I liked the pizza, but the crust at the end of the pizza was too difficult to chew. They make their pizzas in a stone oven. The only options are a 14" pizza with 8 slices or a 7" flatbread. The restaurant is kind of different in that you only place and pick up orders at the bar. The bartender was REALLY nice. They have a huge patio that takes up about half of the restaurant. I wonder if they lose a lot of business when it's too cold to sit outside. They have a small bar with about 6 seats.

Mine was warm and I had to cut it with a spoon and fork just to get it separated for many bites, which were very chewy, almost hard. The ragù was fine. The atmosphere was nice for dinner. I read some other reviews and they are definitely mixed. One of my friends who had been before warned me after I was excited to initially try the cheese wheel pasta, to be careful. She said hers was wet and vodka flavored, so I didn't get it. Similar reviews said the same. I will say the calamari was some of the best I've had lately. Not chewy at all and a lovely light batter, served with tomato sauce. I did find it odd that the sauce was cold. Everyone else seemed to really enjoy their meals so this gets the 3.5 stars.

Love all the framed pictures especially in the back room. This restaurant is perfect for a special occasion, or an intimate dinner, or for just when you want some authentic great Italian food.

Foods that I like: pan pizza, pretzels, shrimp burger, turkey burger, and of course the chicken wings. I get the hermanaki wings. With the wings, you can get snack size or regular portion. Typically, there is plenty of parking. Occasionally on a big game day, parking can be a challenge, but it is very rare.

There was a little spice/flavor from the jalapeño. What was odd to me, was it didn't wow me like I thought it would, but I kept eating it. So in the end, I think I really liked it bc I ate all of it!!! The menu is not large, but has a good variety for its size. The desserts were impressive, I just didn't have room for it. They also had a good selection of different flavored Naan Flatbreads, I wanted to try a few and ended up ordering 3; plain garlic and a peppered something. I love a good Naan but I always get it with Raita. I go pretty spicy and the Raita is a fantastic palet cooler. The server did not know what I was asking for. I think he went back and asked someone. ‍ The Naan was fire! And the Raita (while a bit runny) was very good as well. My daughter was very happy with her several small choices from the buffet. Everything we ordered was hot, fresh, and high quality (e.g. evenly distributed toppings, even sauce coverage, nice bake on the pizza, and uniformly rolled breadsticks) Recently we ordered "The Deal" which includes one large one topping pizza, Stix, and two drinks. We elected to pay a little extra for an additional topping and ordered bacon and mushroom, as well as some extra sauces on the side. The original crust pizza is crispy outside and fluffy inside and cornmeal dusted. The flavor isn't particularly distinct but that makes it a nice blank canvas for the sauce, cheese, and toppings. If you're lucky you'll get a piece with a nice big crusty bubble. The breadsticks at Hotbox are some of my all time favorite! They're fluffy inside and have a crisp crust of tiny bread bubbles outside. They're not greasy or buttery, instead they are brushed with delightful little salt crystals which only make your marinara or cheese dipping sauce taste that much better. Pro tip: Stash those iconic reusable plastic cups because they're not only useful but the ever changing designs and colors are addictive to collect.

The amount of toppings was very generous as well as we ordered two papa murphy's favorites (basically a supreme from any other pizza joint). You place your order at the counter and then take a number to wait for your order. The girl working the register who took my order was friendly, although I ordered breadsticks to eat while I waited on the pizzas to go but they just came out with the pizzas. It was fine as I was probably supposed to share them with my family anyway. Guessing it took about 20-25 minutes from order to receipt of my pizzas, which was on the quicker side of what I was expecting with how busy they seemed to be. The breadsticks ($7.50 for 4 I think) were fine, I was kind of expecting a little more 'wow' with how many positive reviews I had seen, although I didn't eat them freshly from the kitchen. I ordered a 12" Greek Feta and a 12" Buffalo Chicken (each $18-$20) on their hand-tossed dough and a 12" Cheese Deep Dish (also $18 I think). I was suprised by their hand-tossed crusts as they were a lot thicker than I anticipated. I'm a bread guy, so it was a pleasant surprise, although it did seem that the crust didn't fully cook towards the top as it was a little under done. The deep dish was even thicker, but the crust seemed fully cooked on it. Flavors of each pizza were good. Portion-wise was a substantial amount of food that provided another full meal for the family the next day and then some. They are local, which I like to support. Pizza is good and different from other options. Online prices are not accurate (which they acknowledge), but it would be nice if they could resolve the issue.

The first pizza we got a half and half option one side taco pizza and the other side bacon cheeseburger. The taco pizza was bland and had no flavor, I later discovered they provide taco seasoning packets and I guess that is what makes it taste like a taco. The bacon cheeseburger pizza was okay but I probably wouldn't order it again. Then we got a medium Chicken Bacon Ranch and it was by far my favorite. They used to sell a Chicken Royale pizza which was better than this one. I recall Godfathers having better flavor crust than these pizzas had. I gave them an extra star for grace since they just opened yesterday but I'm highly disappointed with my first visit especially for $66. They are currently only open 4pm-9pm
