Ali will literally call you out over the mic during class if you dare to take a sip of water during a transition period and not an actual water break. It was literally my first class here and I wasn't even there 5 mins before I walked out. As a yoga instructor how you can possibly think it's ok to do that to someone is beyond me. That is not the type of mentality I'm looking for in a yoga studio and should never be promoted. Updating to add that Ali just called me to explain herself and the type of yoga this studio practices. She called it "militant" and stood by her actions in calling me out during class. I'm disappointed this isn't the studio for me and want to make sure others don't experience this type of trauma in their yoga practice if this isn't their style of practice. UPDATE. I'm changing my review from what was once a 4 star review to a 1 star review because the owner sought out my personal email and sent a harassing message. I'm not sure how he got my email. But it's remarkable his inability to run an organized check in process has lead down a rabbit hole of unprofessional and unethical behaviors. The extent he's gone thru represents a level of psychosis that I think he should seek mental help for. We attend yoga for positive vibes and peace, but from the second I've stepped into Yoga Hut until know I've gotten chaos and and aggressiveness. Great spot to get a workout or therapeutic experience! I was nervous when I first started out. Having never done yoga and having poor balance, hot yoga seemed intimidating. First person I spoke with was Nick who is always a positive force at the front! Everyone is friendly and it's a great family atmosphere (which isn't surprising since some of the instructions really are family!). The instructors are great at guiding you through the series while pushing you throught the workout with their motivational encouragements. They also stress going at your own pace and being your own monitor. The offer different classes ranging from beginner yoga to HIIT incorporated workouts in the hot room. You can get a wide range of workouts. One day Gio will focus on lower body in hot abs and switch to upper body/arms the next. While Jess will incorporate beachbody type booty exercises into her hot abs class. Tim's all level hot yoga is a great whole body workout ending with abs. Randi's copyrighted Hot Yoga 40RP is where it all started and is great for strength and balance. And be on the lookout for themed GLOW hot yoga classes by Ali and Tim. Went to their Halloween one that was fun and had glow sticks included! The absolute highlight and something everyone should experience is the end of Randi's Hot Yoga 40RP during the last posture, Savasana (called corpse pose where you lie on your back) when she opens and closes the door to fan cool air into the heated room. read more

Being an active yoga class goer I was excited when I saw them advertise online that they were holding a free Thursday session. However, when I got there they told me that they recently deleted the ad and were not going to hold it as a free class anymore. At the beginning of the class the instructor, Ali, said that she will provide water breaks throughout class BUT do not take one on your own because it is "distracting" to other patrons. Being someone who works in fitness I found this extremely unsafe. Looking at the other reviews I see this is a common thing to happen to other patrons as well. The class was fine but me having compartment syndrome I know when to modify certain poses for myself and allow my body breaks. Such as holding downward dog for long periods of time I go to child's pose to lessen my leg pain. When doing this, Ali felt the need to vocalize to the entire class not to go to child's pose for a break and to "sit if you need to rest". Not only is this just flat out rude and extremely unprofessional but me knowing my body and being an active person this did not hurt my feeling however, this can be extremely harmful if said to a first timer or someone newly beginning their fitness journey. Your job as a fitness instructor is to provide people with a positive and SAFE experience. Do better. read more

I used to do Bikram Yoga, but this is the first time attending a hot yoga sesh. I'm from out of town and my friend comes here often and invited me to join her. I was waitlisted, but I got in! Yay! I got a new student discount, which is $20 and I get to come back the following week. Definitely coming back! The studio looks clean and the vibe is full of energy and enthusiasm. There are cubbies for your belongings or you can just put your sandals along the wall (if you don't have a lot of things). I'm glad that the class was not packed and that no sweaty arms is going to be in my space while getting into poses. We were at least 16"-18" away from each other. Ali was our instructor and gave out clear instructions. I had to look around since I haven't done yoga in a while, but if you done yoga before, you'll pick it up right away. And always do what you can. I was surprised that I was able to do 99% of it, even after years of no yoga. I forgot how good it felt just sweat and having stress and negative vibes leave your body. 75 minutes will do you good, very therapeutic. Thanks for a cleansing sesh for me! read more

My 1st ever yoga class was at this studio with Tim as my instructor. I was a little intimidated but wanted to scratch this off my bucket list. Tim welcomed me and made me feel comfortable. Though I was new, his encouraging words throughout the practice motivated me to keep trying. Keeping up at 1st takes some getting used to but it is truly a judgment free zone. After my 1st class I felt zen, happy and supported by the wonderful instructor. I was hooked! Since December 2018 I have taken classes with a variety of their instructors and each one shares the value of the owners Ali & Tim. I was blown away by the tucked away studio in a shopping plaza. I took my first class the day after Christmas and am glad I did. When I first walked in, the staff greeted me and my party with enthusiasm and I immediately felt a warm and cozy feeling being there. I took the class with Bill which was outstanding. His booming voice guided the practice in harmony. He was encouraging and motivating all while bringing inner peace. Coming out of the practice, I felt like all the grogginess I had from eating and drinking cleared away and I was left feeling refreshed and like a new person. My only regret is not living closer to the studio. I came from out of state and will visit again when I'm back in town. read more

I absolutely love it here! The work out i get in the hot room I've never experienced anywhere else. Started coming to hot yoga hut in the beginning January and it was hard at first even though I have been doing yoga before I started coming here. But now I can't live without it. There are so many benefits to working out in a hot room. Infrared heat exercise can help heal old wounds, reduce stress, boost immune systems, improve flexibility, energy, clarity and focus, balance our internal systems and detoxify our bodies, all the while helping us lose weight. I feel so good every time I come here. I love the environment and the people. I have been going to the Hot Yoga Hut for about 4 years now and it has grown to be such a big part of my life. I used to go for the benefits of yoga including stretching and breathing and mental relaxation, but as more classes were added and I wanted to challenge myself physically and mentally, I found that I was able to push myself to new levels. I really enjoy the vibe of this place. I felt a very positive energy in the facility and a caring and encouraging attitude from the staff. The rooms are clean, comfortable and well designed. The hot yoga room had a very ingenious system of delivering even, comfortable heat that doesn't blast you in your face or leave cold spots. This is in direct contrast to the "other" place which is in a creepy cold feeling building and has a staff that made me feel inadequate and unwelcome. read more

What an amazing place, owned and run by equally amazing people! I've been to several yoga studios hosting different types of yoga but never really found a home anywhere until I joined the good vibe tribe at the hut! This studio has truly become my sanctuary. They are so welcoming of all walks of life, all different fitness levels and varying levels of experienced yogis. Hot Yoga Hut offers a wide variety of classes, each class guided by instructors that really take the time to guide you toward greatness and peace. It's extremely affordable for it's offerings. I've noticed a lot of yoga studios in the LV tend to emit pretentious vibes but I assure you that's not what you'll pick up here. The Hot Yoga Hut has a welcoming, friendly, and comfortable atmosphere and is perfect for any skill level with room to improve and grow in your practice. The instructors are very knowledgeable and motivating during class. I really enjoy their special "themed" classes on holidays like the 4th of July Rock Your Soul class, and others like their 90's, hip hop playlist class. I also like that they offer non-hot yoga. You wanna talk about a negative place with owners that listen to gossip and don't put their customers needs first then come on down. Not only are they not accommodating to loyal customers. They harass them through emails. This is one of the few places I've encountered that cares more about themselves then the customer and they make it obvious. I LOVE this place! Everytime I go, which isn't often because I can't afford to go all the time. Everyone is super nice and helpful, the only negative is they can NEVER find my name in their computer system without at least 5 tries. I have done the 4:30pm class and the 7:30pm class for the Hot Yoga 40. The 4:30pm class can get kind of croweded, Personally, I recommend the 7:30pm class with Giovanni. I didn't think I would prefer a male yoga instructor but he rocks. I love that he treats it more like boot camp yoga, it really motivates me and pushes me to work my hardest. It also helps that he is an EMT in case anyone over heats during class. The studio itself is very bright, light and clean. They have really nice bathroom facilities with anythig you can need. Forgot your mat? or don't own one yet? you can borrow one and buy a bottle of water. read more

I've always been timid in trying yoga because places I've been have classes that go way too fast. At hot yoga hut, the instructors make sure to keep everyone at the same place regardless of our level to minimize distraction. All the instructors are very friendly and encouraging. They explain the flow of class very well, especially in the hot room. They also allow for plenty of scheduled water break and give alternative poses for both advanced and beginners. read more
