History
Established in 2010.
Owner Erica McHugh began teaching yoga at local YMCAs and community centers in 1999. Erica and her cousin, a kickboxing teacher, opened a studio together called Alive and Kicking in late 1999. After a few years, Erica relocated to the Silkworks building, and changed the name to Lehigh Valley Yoga. Erica owned this studio until 2006, when she sold the business to a former student. She couldn't stay away from studio ownership and teaching for long - Emmaus Yoga was established in 2010, originally with partner Britt Tagg, and is an ever-growing product of Erica's love for sharing yoga with others.
