A quick contact via email and we set up our first lesson in her home. For 18 months, I was a weekly visitor to her private yoga studio. Megan takes the time to put together her private lessons so that you are continuously growing, both through physical challenge as well as understanding of the many limbs of yoga. While my private lessons are now more sporadic due to my work travel, I've grown to appreciate her attention to detail and crazy amounts of patience. She's been able to work through my health issues and limitations professionally and is never afraid to ask questions to help her deepen your practice. Megan's rates are very competitive for the local yoga market - and very reasonable when you are willing to commit to regular practice. I had assumed that weekly practice would be too expensive, and while it is more expensive than a weekly course, I think that it's a bargain for what you get out of her classes.

Hanging basket chairs to wade into with toes skimming along the shallow pool. Cozy fireplace lounge area to sit and wait for your service. Multiple saunas to steam in. You can order food and champagne but need to call in ahead for that. Otherwise there's lovely water and snacks to keep you going in the spa itself. Service staff was constantly checking in to clear towels, refresh areas, keep floors clean. Such a lovely time. The ceramic loungers weren't really warm and their snow room was out so hopefully those get fixed before the next time we visit!

My first class was Yin as it sounded perfect for some persistent pain I have been experiencing. The instructor and class were nothing short of amazing, Through the guidance and the stretches I could actually feel my body responding; it was as if gates had been opened. My pain is gone on one side and greatly diminished on the other. Already signed up for second Yin class with Cherilyn and cannot wait. I also took a Roots class with Gina that was another winner. Like the name of the place suggest Cyrotherapy is the big draw though they're always working on…read moreexpanding and introducing new things. I'm interested in trying dermaplaning and their custom facials. I've tried their Celluma LED facials and B12 shots. My favorite thing is still the Whole Body Cyrotherapy with leg compressions. It's quick enough to do during my lunch break. The Cyrotherapy takes 3 minutes maximum and is followed by Normatec arm of leg compressions for 30 minutes. The changing rooms are always clean. And organized with robes, gloves, socks, and booties. Just make sure to avoid any metal (ie. bra underwire) during Cyrotherapy. I love doing Cyrotherapy after a tough gym session or football game. It definitely helps with soreness, circulation, and any inflammation. And the fact that it can burn 500-800 calories is a definite plus! I always feel great after though my husband has had some side effects like hunger, excessive thirst, and sleepiness. The owner, Dan is always friendly and informative. He's accommodating and has squeezed me in on same day appointments. It's also easy to book sessions online.
